"I was thinking something quick. Archie hasn't given me any assignments in particular."
Matthias crossed his arms and thought for a moment.
"Well, there's a nice few Pokemon to catch outside Lilycove City. Let's expand our teams a bit and catch one."
He took out his TADS to research what species of Pokemon resided in the land route outside Lilycove.
"We can meet up right outside the city in a few minutes. Go get ready. I'll see you soon."
With that, he headed off.

Matthias was already leaning against a nearby fence waiting by the time Reaper caught up. The man was quick on his feet.
"Read up real quick on the area. The Pokemon available around here are... Oddish, Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Wingull, Kecleon, Shuppet, and Duskull."
He took a Pokeball off his belt.
"Catch whichever you like, if you wish. I'm happy with my team, so I'll just be fighting one for fun."

Reaper nodded as the man told him all pokemon available in the area. "Alright Corphish, let's go." He said as Corphish nodded and turned around to see another guy he had seen around on Guard Duty participating too. He chuckled and began looking around for his next team mate.

Reaper hadn't wandered off too far and had already encountered a group of random pokemon. He surveyed the area and chose to capture the Poochyena, who had been booted out of the group for being excessively weak. He walked over to the pokemon and sent his Corphish out. The Poochyena, who was gonna try to prove he wasn't a weakling, stepped up to the battle.

~ Battle Start ~

"Alright Corphish, let's start this out with a Crabhammer attack." Reaper had commanded as Corphish sprinted over to the Poochyena and slammed his pincer hard onto the Poochyena, hurting it pretty bad. The Poochyena got back up and attacked with a Thunderfang attack, severely hurting Corphish. "Hmm... not bad. I like this one." He said and looked over at Corphish. "Alright hit him with a Body Slam." He said as Corphish hopped into the air and slammed down on the Poochyena, and Paralyzing it. Due to Paralysis, the Poochyena could not attack. Reaper pulled out a Pokemon and tossed it at the Poochyena, encasing it inside the ball. After a short while of watching it waver around side to side, it stopped, initiating that it was captured.

~ Battle End ~

Reaper walked over to the ball, picked up up and stuck it on his belt then looked at Corphish. "Good job Corphish, rest up a little." He said and tried to return him to his pokeball but Corphish dodged it, not wanting to go back in the ball. "Haha still acting tough. Alright you can stay out." He said, which made Corphish a bit happy. The two walked back into base since the man said he had to leave and that they can do what ever they want. "Let's head to the common room Corphish." He said as they then proceeded into the common room and relaxed against the couch.

Moment later, a familiar face had appeared back into the room. It was Finn. Shortly after his appearence, Matthias had showed up as well. Making a little announcement, he proposed a little activity which would take place just around Lilycove City. Catching pokemon seemed like a great idea.

"That sounds like a great idea! We should go too!" he said to Adelle.

Without a second thought, Ren recalled his pokemon and left with the rest of them.

As the time came to meet up with everyone, Matthias had informed of what pokemon were inhabiting the area. It seemed like a pretty good variety to for starters. Now the question was, which pokemon Ren would add to his team.

"Let's see, I've already got a Poochyena. A Normal-type would be excellent seeing as they're capable of learning almost any type of move and I would like a Ghost-type pokemon. Hmm....."

This, Ren had contemplated for a while. After some thinking, Ren had decided to capture two pokemon. Both being a Kecleon and a Duskull.

Venturing out into the grass, in hopes of finding either a Kecleon or a Duskull, Ren started to have second thought's about what pokemon to capture. But soon enough, he'd encounter a pokemon. To his luck, it was a Kecleon.

"Well, I've found one might as well capture it. Go Meinfoo!"

Ren tossed out his pokeball and summoned his Meinfoo.

"Start the battle with a Force Palm!" he commanded.

Meinfoo made his way to the Kecleon fast and gently placed the palm of his hand on the Kecleon. With much force, Meinfoo focused his energy sending the Kecleon flying back. Due to the type disadvantage the Kecleon had, it would take a great amount of damage.

The Kecleon struggled to get up, but it was not entirely knocked out. It wasn't going to give up without a fight for sure. Standing up gaining it's balance, the Kecleon charged forward with it's claws massively extended. The said Kecleon then attacked Meinfoo with a Slash, making a gashing wound.

"Just one more attack Meinfoo, you can do it. Again Force Palm."

Dealing with an exposed slash on his chest, Meinfoo retaliated by placing his palm once more onto the Kecleon. Focusing his energy once more, he blasted the Kecleon back several feet.

"Go pokeball!" Ren said as he threw a vacant pokeball.

The ball bounced off of the Normal-type's stomach and popped open mid-air, right before engulfing the body in a red light and sucking the Kecleon into the capsule system. The pokeball dropped suddenly initiating the process of the capture. A few wiggles later and the capture was successful as indicated by the low tone given off by the pokeball.

"Great, one pokemon down and one more to go." Ren said as he walked over to pick up the pokeball and placing in his belt.

"I'll have to heal you later." he said as he patted the pokeball that held his new addition to his team.

"And I'm going to have to heal you too later." he said as he recalled Mienfoo.

Allen stood in the doorway of the lounge room, dressed in his Aqua garb, he'd just gotten off of Guard duty again. Nothing happened, as per the usual, however that's just the way he liked his shifts, nice and boring and... Magma-less. With a large sigh, he stepped into the room, turning to sit on the couch.

I walk in with my Carvanha. "Took a while, but I finally did it! Where's Archie?"

Brian looks over at Allen, " So you don't know where he is either?" Brian then lets Carvanha enjoy the water. "He's such a good Pokémon."
