Allan received a dirty look for that.
"The hell was that?" He asked, rubbing his head where he had been hit and kneeling down to observe the object that hat wedged itself into the logo.
....
That couldn't have been the key... could it?

Unsure of what all was even being said anymore, Kat just stared blankly across at everyone holding onto the table opposite to her, still struggling to keep from dropping the damn thing. It was blood heavy! Luckily, she didn't have to hold on for much longer, thanks to Allan flipping the whole table. "F-fuufffuuucc-" Quickly releasing her hold on the table, Kat ducked out of the way to keep from being crushed.

Ami went flying, slamming onto the ground from the brunt force. She groaned as she pulled herself up, feeling a bruise forming. Good thing she was a hunter. GOOD THING SHE WAS A HUNTER.
She stared at the bottom of the table, which had opened up and revealed itself to Solia. Her shout only confirmed that there was indeed something in there. "Solia, what is that ... ? The object next to the screwdriver ..."
Ami squinted for a moment and then said, "Can I see it?"

"THINGS!!!!!" The expression on Solia's face was pretty anime. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ✧ Turning to Ami, she offered her the not screwdrivey thing. "Yeah yeah! Lets's solve this mystery! I dunno what it is but yeah you can see it!" Pulling out the screwdrive she smiled. "It's not sonic but I think it'll work. And Allen-sensei thank you for helping!" Going over to the grate, she did her best to channel the 10th doctor and get rid of that great grate.

Stormy, like a Shymalan plot twist, had been there the whole time.
Silent. Watching.
Scribbling in her journal.
She tottered over to the cursing Lucky and cowering Mimsy and plopped herself between them, blinking owlishly and otherwise unperturbed at all the shouting as Ami and Solia and oh hey it was that dude from that thing way back neaaaat - despite the ringing in her ears. "Interesting," she mumbled pleasantly, reaching up to pat the poor Polish Hunter and then reaching down to pet Mimsy for the same.
Treating things like cats was the right way to go in this circumstance apparently.

Ami sorely appreciated the fact that she didn't have to bargain with Solia via eating one of her cookies or singing some stupid song with her.
Instead, she focused her energies on examining the object in front of her.
