Still mildly irritated at himself that he was so thoroughly distracted, the Death Guardian huffed in the most visible manner he would allow himself, which was really only just a small raise of shoulders that he let drop before he once more took a fighting stance. At the familiar yet unfamiliar priestess he only cracked a tiny smile. "I should doubt anyone would complain about anything besides odd dark creatures and ruined furniture right now." Look, he wasn't great at jokes but he was trying. And he was kind of hoping if he could get the priestess to crack a smile he might remember her better. It was a horrid shame he couldn't recall her fully. If Siska fussed a little more over Tseng as he slumped every so slightly, well, it was just because she was worried. They needed everyone at their strongest.
