Zarieth looked to the outstretched hand, then reached out to place his own within Lukarius. The demigod drifted towards Lukarius so he was much closer. Having Lukarius reaffirm that he was home certainly made him feel happy. More then happy actually. he peered at Lukarius and tilted his head down as a very faint aura of pink flushed his cheeks in a small blush. "My God. You do not need to escort me. However. I will say that I am not opposed to spending more time in your glorious company." Zarieth lifted his silver gaze slowly to peer happily at Lukarius. "Lead, and I shall follow you anywhere."

Lukarius felt a smile slowly spread over his face of its own accord, his godly air melting away as he stared at the Demigod for a moment in silence. Finally, he blinked and forced himself to look away. "Just open yourself to my will." He said softly, before he set his mind to phase himself and the demigod to his throne room at the heart of Purgatory.

He was aiming to have them at his throne, standing before it, so that when Zarieth got his first look at the place, he would see the massive, glowing crystals that seemingly grew from all corners of the chamber. Lukarius had been lucky to awaken and find such a chamber so close to his place of slumber, for the crystals were the perfect place for him to store the souls he collected.

He wondered if Zarieth would notice the very barely noticeable color difference that came from the crystals. He noticed only because he could see the souls inside, each crystals housing similarly aligned souls in a sort of categorized fashion, which caused crystals housing blue primary souls to give off a blue tinted light. The green, yellow, orange, and other colors were in similar suit, each tinted to reflect the souls housed there. The golden souls, those most loyal and pure intended, he stored beside his throne. A comfort to himself, more so then any form of favoritism. He liked the color of loyalty, a reason he gave a golden scythe go all his followers.

He paused, realizing he had yet to give Zarieth a skull mask and set of scythes...yet no pair he had yet made would be sufficient for this follower...He would have to make something appropriate tonight.

"Welcome, Zarieth, to my Throne Room. This is where you will work." He said, turning to the demi. He did not want to be rude or off putting, but he also wanted to see and study the male again. "Each crystal is home to my collection of the dead. Those once lost, alone, or afraid, now rest peacefully here until it is time for their rebirth into my kingdom of souls."

Open himself to the will of his chosen god? Zarieth did not find that to be a difficult thing to do. He closed his eyes as he mentally imagine himself lowering any walls of resistance that Lukarius may have encountered. When he opened his eyes next, he was stunned to find him in a room filled with crystals. Yes they were beautiful, but the souls slumbering within them were like small stars amid the dark night sky. Each with it's own brilliance and hue, so close in color to each but with a perceivable difference if he took the time to notice. They were Spirits, and of his own domain. So of course he could see their individuality.

Though Lukarius began to speak to him once more, Zarieth's gaze did not return to the god. He was busy looking studiously over the crystals and their souls. His hand relaxed within Lukarius's own grasp so he could start to drift towards a set of blue ones. Lifting his hand, he brought his fingers close to the hard crystal edge, but kept a few centimeters between his actual touch and the surface. Stroking the air it seemed, he looked between them. "My God. Have you considered setting souls that resonate with a need another can fill in close proximity with each other? A soul that is lonely but containing bravery placed next to a soul that is afraid may find comfort in each other. The Afraid one soothed by the bravery of it's neighbor, and the Lonesome one finding content in being needed by the other?"

Lukariu gave his head a tilt as the Demigod made his way to the soul crystals. He listened as Zarieth spoke, though his expression became one of vague surprise. He had never thought of pairing the sours off together. He had only thought of giving them rest until they were ready to be placed in a new body.

"The souls come here for rest...but perhaps living companionship is not the key to their rest?" He inquired. He had always seen the longings of souls to again be 'alive'. Perhaps pairing them, not as soul weapons with a living partner, but together from crystal to their new bodies, would move their healing process faster.

"Do you suggest merely a soul companionship? Or do I presume when I think you also mean for me to revive them together as well, into their new bodies, that they may be a source of worldly comfort as well?" He asked. Luk was quite smitten with the idea already. It would just take time to built multiple bodies together, rather then finishing one before beginning the other...

Zarieth took his time considering his answer to Lukarius question. As he did so he reached a hand out to stroke one of the ghost lights constantly hovering around him.

"I do not think there is one right answer for the whole." He admitted honestly. "We are the caretakers of the dead yes? We see to their needs and the needs of one may differ from the needs of another. I think each soul would need to be treated as a unique case. It makes the job longer and more difficult, but isn't that why we are divine? So we can do those difficult things?" Zarieth turned to look at Lukarius, a smile upon his lips. "Any job that is important is one that is not done hastily or quickly. Some souls may thrive with a companion. After all, do we not spend a lifetime looking for our Soul Mate? That one person who can truly complete us? Who says you can't find your soul mate in death? I've heard stories where a soul is reborn and spends years searching for their one true love, someone they know they met in a past life and is waiting for them just as surely as they are looking. Perhaps I can help them find each other here, and depending on who and how they are... they can pass on to life again later as living souls, to relive a new life filled with more happiness. So when they return to us...to you... they will be filled with content and joy the likes of which they are lacking now."

Lukarius felt his chest tighten and he stared at the Zarieth for a long while before he sat down at his throne and closed his eyes. He lent his chin against his fist, which he propped again the arm of his throne. "Well spoken...do as you wish." He said softly. He was actually very impressed with Zarieth at that moment, but while Lukarius felt himself flirt full at times, he only ever openly gushed over Antarmur'ss.

Still...He peeked one eye open to glance at the Demi, secretly hopeful that the man would be watching HIM. "Bring me your paired souls...let me see their progress, and judge them in accordance to themselves alone. I will not compare them to any others but themselves."

When Lukarius granted him permission to pursue his suggestion, Zarieth turned fully to face Lukarius, and he bowed. His hands lifted slightly at his sides as his hair nearly brushed the floor in the motion of the bow. His wings fanned upon his back, like a butterflies at rest, then he rose. His smile still upon his lips as he spoke. "I will do my best. For their sakes and for your pleasure my God." He murmured before turning, with no small degree of eagerness, to the task of finding souls that could help each other in some way. The demigod knelt beside the blue soul he'd been inspected previously, and focused on slowly stroking the crystal that housed it. He would not be hasty in learning about the deeper parts of the soul, so he could find a good pairing to present to Lukarius and win perhaps more of his favor then just pretty words. As he worked, the demi was aware of the gods presence, and he peeked over at the sitting figure when he was certain he'd not be seen.

(Posting here, really just cuz, but I wanted to make sure and quote anyone I have on my followers list xD; Just incase anyone was unaware Luk was all mad and stuff. Haha)

Lukarius stood before his throne, his eyes glowing brighter then usual as he surveyed Antarmurr'ss realm through the eyes of a Jackal he had sent to his brother earlier in the day.

He had sent an invitation to visit.

He had received a call to war.

His anger, his disgust at his brothers enemies, rolled off Luk as the waves from a storm, flooding forward to wash over the followers and crystals in his throne room, turning all of the soul crystals a bright red as the souls within felt his anger, fed off his overwhelming feeling of wrath, and returned it to him with their own mutated hatred and rage.

They were ready to fight.

Lukarius clenched his jaw, reaching out, feeling for each of his followers. Not only locating, but connecting them all one by one to him as he opened himself to them all, joining their souls together through the masks they wore as their simplistic homage to him. When finally he was able to speak through his anger, he addressed them all as one;

"My Children....We have been greatly offended.
Those that are the filth of this world, those that are the tainted, defiled souls...have attacked our own. The weakling that calls herself Warrior has moved against our brothers in an attack that shows true to the colors of their tainted souls.

How pathetic, to attack one in their own homes and beds, with not even the honor to call out a true challenge to war. How pathetic she must be, to need to attack unawares. Is this the only way the cursed think they can win against us true gods?

This 'Warrior' is a coward.

This 'Warrior' is a vile and unnatural blight on this world, to her very souls a tormented beast. She lashes out in a crazed attempt to validate her existence.
She is clearly very mistaken, to think she can win this war with such an underhanded act.

Come to me, my Children. Let this night fill with the souls of the damned. Let us send them into the void, Show the world the path of Death and Darkness."

Lukarius paused briefly, his face growing dark with malice as his eyes narrowed and he raised his head, his voice ringing out over the distances to every pockettu as he yelled,

"Come to me, My Children! We go now to war!"

The souls housed in his crystals burst forth from them in an explosion of light, all flying swiftly to surround their lord till he glowed like the sun.

User Image Stauzohnuapproached the goddess' temple at a slow gait. He looked it over carefully in search of some sort of...mailbox. Seeing nothing apparent, he merely shrugs his shoulders and approaches the Goddess' alter. Reaching into his back pocket, he removes a black and crimson invitation card. Leaning forwards he respectfully places it on the alter, then beats himself a hasty retreat.

Lukarius smiled down at the grey soul before him, reaching out to pet him on the head. "Your faith and services are greatly appreciated, my little soul. Welcome home."
