Leila nodded. "I will try to round up our brothers. Lead them to safety, since I am sure neither of them will do so of their own accord." Leila moved quickly throughout the town. She scented her brother easily. She could scent him anywhere. His scent was as familiar as her own to her. Her Wolf grew excited as she first scented him them saw him.
He was helping a man whose car seemed to have broken down on him. Kieran was doing what he did best. Fixing the car. Listening to the mechanic cryings that he always seemed to know just how to answer. Leila approached and he didn't look up. "Leila....I should be done in a few minutes....then we can talk." He said having scented the fear in her. She nodded though her Alpha could not see her. "I will find Kegan, wait here for me." Kieran didn't verbally respond but Leila knew he would wait for her. Leila ran off searching for Kegan. She had a little more trouble finding him but eventually did. "Hello Kegan....I am Leila...from last night. You helped my brother and me. Allison is looking for you. Why don't you head back to the house with me?" She reached out her hand for his. Her Wolf was calm and peaceful, she was normally playful, inquisitive, friendly and excitable. Right now she recognized the seriousness of the situation and was behaving appropriately.

Meadow Blackwell Meadow didn't know what was going on. She was just trying to stick to her mate for as long as possible. They had done emerged out of the woods and some car was broke down. Kieran seemed to help to the man without a problem. "That's neat. He knows things about cars." Meadow thought to herself. Leila came back. She looked bothered by something, but Kieran just told her that he'd be done then they could talk about whatever. Leila told Kieran to stay put that she was going to go find someone named Kegan. Meadow looked at Kieran as if asking who was Leila referring to. Meadow went to look back to Leila, but she was already gone. My mission is to find my soul mate. The goal to be a great Luna and leader to my pack.

Kieran whipped his hands. The car was up and running. "That is best I can do without the parts and proper tools. It will get you to a mechanic's at least." The man thanked Kieran. He waved away the man's words. "Don't mention it. I am glad to help in whatever way possible." Kieran sat down on the small wall to await his older sister's return.
He could not really scent her, but he was not very concerned. His sister was safe. He could feel that much. Not to mention he knew his sister well enough to know she could hold her own in a fair fight. Leila lacked self confidence but Kieran didn't understand why. She was scrappy and agile.
He stretched and yawned. He hoped Leila would return soon. He was getting hungry, and wanted to get moving. He felt like exploring. He would not leave her unguarded though. Not till she was comfortable here, and he knew she would be safe here. He glanced over at Meadow. Taking in her Human form. She was pretty enough. He had never really been into blondes, but she was quite pretty.

Meadow Blackwell Meadow felt eyes on her. She looked up meeting Kieran's eyes. She never thought she would have cared about a mate or ruling a pack. Meadow was a free spirit. She dreamed of traveling the world, going to a college out of state, or anything that evolved her not having responsibilities. Meadow thought for a moment. She didn't need to be ab adult now. She could just date her mate. Get to know him. Actually fall in love with him. Not just be together because of a stupid bond. "Yeah you know. I've thought a lot since we've been together. I'm not ready to be an Luna. I don't want to run a pack right now either. I just want to be free. I want to fall in love. I want to travel the world. But I can't do any of that unless I have you. I know I seem like I'm not worth the time, but if that is how you feel, we can go our own ways. There is one thing I ask. Don't reject me please. When you're ready, come back. You know my hair, my eyes, my scent, and my wolf. You'll be able to find me." Meadow looked up at the sky. She'd said all she needed to say. It was up to Kieran now on what choice he would make. My mission is to find my soul mate. The goal to be a great Luna and leader to my pack.

Kieran heard Meadow out, and was relieved to hear what she had to say. He agreed, he had no desire to be her mate or an Alpha right now. His eyes locked with hers. Kieran let the Alpha lend his authority to the words he spoke. "I am not interested in being anyone's mate or an Alpha to anyone. I am only here because my sister wanted to be part of a Pack. I was worried about her safety." He kept his eyes on Meadow's. "i understand you think we are to be Mated some day, I don't believe that. I believe in dating, getting to know some one and maybe one day I will fall in love if there is such a thing." He stood up and walked over to Meadow. "It is not a rejection of you. It is a rejection of this whole concept. Mates, Packs, Alphas...all of it. I am sure you are a lovely person Meadow...I have a girlfriend back home. Kindof..." He took her hand, and kissed it lightly. "Don't be upset...You don't want me, or even know me. You don't want this relationship anymore then I do." He dropped her hand, and watched Meadow tentatively. He had no idea how the young woman would take any of this. She said she wasn't interested in being his Mate either, so everything should be okay. They just had to control their wolves. Let them know this Mate business was not going down.

Keagan was just at the edge of the forest not far from his home. His eyes tentatively stared into the forest his whole body tensed and on guard. He looked over to Leila when she found him. He let out a low growl though it was not aimed at her. Upon explaining that his sister already knew the situation he was compelled to face this Alpha. He looked down at her outstretched hand. “My sister...asked you to stop me didn't she?” he asked although it was more of a statement. He knows his sister well enough to know what she was thinking. They were twins after all. He trusted his sister’s judgements but his wolf can't ignore the unspoken challenge the alpha had presented him. He looked back to the forest then at Leila. With a sigh he took her hand and was pulled away from the forest.

Leila smiled at Kegan, and patted his hand affectionately. "Of course she did, we sisters worry about our brothers. Regardless of how competent and able our brothers happen to be." She lead Kegan away. "We will figure this out Kegan. Please....take it to the elders though." She moved through the town, keeping Kegan close to her. She lead him back to her brother and Meadow.
Immediately her brother noticed her clinging to Kegan. His Wolf's instincts were to snap, and assert his dominance. Let this other Alpha know that Leila was of his Pack, and only her Mate would handle her in such a familiar manner. He reigned in his Wolf though. Leila was a big girl, if she didn't want Kegan near her, she would not be hanging all over him.

Meadow Blackwell Meadow knew that it sucked that her mate choose the latter of the two situations. It hurt Meadow more that her mate had someone else as well. Meadow let a few tears roll down her face before she stood up with a smile and with a heavy heart.Once Meadow whipped all the tears she'd let escape, she requested one thing of her mate. "May I have a departing kiss? I do believe we shall cross paths again. When we do, I hope that we both realized that we were foolish children for ever denying what was meant to be." Meadow just wanted to fill the sparks ignite in her and have her mates scent surround her. My mission is to find my soul mate. The goal to be a great Luna and leader to my pack.

Kieran could feel Meadow's sadness and the Wolf in him wanted to tear him apart. He wanted to make him suffer for making his Mate cry. He stepped closer to Meadow, wrapping his arms about her slight frame. He hugged her to his body. "Meadow...." Kieran groaned against the top of her head. He did not want to kiss her. He knew his Wolf would latch on to her, chase her to the ends of the Earth. His Wolf believed she was his Mate. Human Kieran wasn't sold on this Mate idea. He lower his face to hers, lightly brushing his lips against hers.

Keagan frowned knowing just how protective his sister is. Being two minutes older than him gave her a bit of an advantage in their relationship. “The elders won't be able to interfere if the alpha chooses me to challenge,” he said as he followed her. He wasn't paying attention to where they were going, his mind too occupied to care. His wolf snapped him out of it as they neared her brother. He could sense that this Alpha isn't too keen on having him around Leila. Keagan raised a brow at Keiran now amused at their situation. He was more experienced as a shifter but the alpha has rank over him. He was tempted to show off but decided against it. He didn't need another alpha challenging him.
Allison found the elders and relayed her patrols as well as the alpha her brother encountered. The elders were alert but told her not to engage with the alpha until they make contact. They didn't want to accidentally cause a war and make an enemy.

Leila looked away as Kieran and Meadow had their moment. She looked to Keagan. "So....we will go on ahead....they can catch up with us." Leila lead Keagan away, and smiled at the younger twin. "We should get you back to Allison...." She looked away. Once they were out of sight and hearing range of her brother she turned to Keagan. "Sorry about him...he is still trying to protect me. We had a lot of problems along the way...." She did not mention the fact that during their travels she had entered her cycle, and it brought many lone male sexual mature Wolves sniffing about. Eager males looking for a Mate, and hoping to convince the fertile Female to be their Mate.

Meadow Blackwell Meadow connected her lips fully to Kieran. The sparks flew, but Meadow didn't let it cloud her mind. The love, longing, and sadness all swam within Meadow as she kissed Kieran. The tears started coming down her face again into the kiss. Meadow pulled away and shifted. Meadows wolf ran. She ran like her life depended on it. She didn't look back. She couldn't look back. That was it. She had what she wished for to be free. Once she got inside the pack house, the dam broke. Meadow cried and cried and cried. My mission is to find my soul mate. The goal to be a great Luna and leader to my pack. OOC: I'm crying right now typing this. LOL

“My sister is not my keeper you know. I can take care of myself,” he said when she mentioned his sister as if he needed to be escorted like a child. “Your brother is your family. I could understand why he'd be protective,” he added as they left the two mates alone. “He's still in denial of what he is. With that attitude he won't be able to get back to the world he used to know. His wolf would try to come out and take over.” He looked up to the sky and sighed. “And his denial of his own mate would tear him apart.” He looked over to Leila with a serious expression. “To us, a mate is equivalent to a soulmate. We are bound to one another. You deny that, you’re denying the existence of your other half. You'd be lost.”
Allison left the councils and headed back to the house. She was in deep thought. She knows her brother too well for him to ignore the alpha especially when he's challenged. Hopefully the elders can find a way to deal with this outsider.

Leila dropped Keagan's arm. She frowned back at the young man. "I never said she was your keeper..." She looked away, a bit hurt by his sharp tone. "I just meant...she worries. When she sees you she will be relieved. She won't be anxious anymore...forget it." She walked back to the house with him the rest of the way in silence. She kept some distance between them. "I understand the concept of a Mate...Kieran still thinks in Human terms though. He still believes his childhood crush and first kiss in the female he will marry." Leila grew silent, not sure if she could explain the conflict the siblings felt between their Human and Wolf side.
The siblings had grown up as Humans. They had Human thoughts and behaviors, they only recently became Wolves. Only recently did they leave their Clan for a Pack. For Kieran he had never wanted that, he was happy in the Clan. He had been determined to deny his Wolf and continue with his very Human life. "We are Humans before we are Wolves...we are new to the ways of the Wolf. Kieran needs time to adjust. Time for his Wolf and he to bond."
Kieran caught up to the pair. He could sense the tension in the air surrounding the pair but he did not comment.

Meadow Blackwell The mothers of the pack came to see what all the commotion was about. Once they found Meadow on the floor of the pack house crying and naked, they scrambled around. They dressed her, brought her ice cream. A male of the pack carried her to the living room and placed her gently on the sofa. The mothers placed a blank on her and sat and watched movies. They didn't question what was wrong with their future Luna. They just wanted to make her feel better. After a few movies, Meadow thanked everyone for taking care for her. She went up to her room. She had to think of what to tell her parents when they came back and found her home. Also she wasn't going to able to lie because the day after that come back Meadow was going to go into heat. She was going to experience having what all the unmated females experienced after they found their mate, but hadn't been claimed. Meadow was going to have to go through it alone without her mate to make the pain go away. "I'll be able to survive." She told herself, but she knew that wasn't true. The longer you go without mating the more intensified each heat becomes until 1. your mate can't take it anymore and claims you or 2. you slip into an unconscious state, which may lead to death. As long as Kieran kept his distance, he wouldn't want to mate with her, but that won't stop him from feeling the pain she will endure. My mission is to find my soul mate. The goal to be a great Luna and leader to my pack.
