Black Market Black Market takes a mental not of what she said and he did place safety mechanisms in his helmet, but that was probably not enough. He looks at her and stands up slowly. "I don't exactly have the power to show my face to my enemies... My name is Black Market... I made these in case I could ever find an ally." He says pulling out a card from inside his mask and hands it to her. It was burnt, a bit roughed up, and missing an edge, but still in a working condition so that you could read it. The card had an address in it and a set of instructions on the back for if she wanted to meet. "Just follow the card and I will come as soon as I can so wait there if you ever want to talk. I would appreciate a team up if you're ever up for it." He says as he starts to walk for the door. "Your secret is safe with me Shadow Walker."

☽Shadow Walker☾ ☪I've got bad days so caught up in my mind, and I'm... ✧Not really sure who I am, and nothing seems to go my way at all, "You don't have to leave...." She muttered before turning back to her cooking. Looking at the card she let her shoulders drop. "I....I've never been on a team before." Turning to look back at the boy. "There are people looking for me...bad people who want to slowly kill me...would you....could you help me protect this world from them..." She looked at the ground, she was scared. Ceil stared at her feet, "I can't go home, and I need to stay hidden. Yet I can't just throw myself out there again. I have to help protect the people of this planet....I just...it's been so long since I've fought." She didn't want to be alone again either, she was loved by so many on her home planet. Here no one knew her, and she felt lonely. "Do you think we could be friend, could we truly work together?"

Danica "Dani" West Black Cat What's the matter? A constant beeping was what had awakened her, causing her to groan at the sudden light from above. Sitting up slowly, she slowly realized that she was in a hospital, strapped up to an IV drip and a heart monitor. Panic set in, overcoming the haze in her brain due to whatever she's been forced to take. Where am I? Danica thought, eyes darting around the room. Once her clothes came into sight, she changed into them, trying to move her body faster. She knew that though her dad had decided to hide his powers from the public eye, when no one was looking, he'd use them. She only had so much time before the hospital contacted her overprotective parents…if they hadn't already.
Relieved that the hospital employees hadn't gone rooting through her purse too badly, she collected her things and moved towards the window. Looking down, she could see that she was up kind of high…Figures, living in Gotham city. Danica thought darkly to herself, but noticed the fire escape not too far away. Taking a cautious glance in the hallway, she made her way over to the fire exit, pushing it open quickly when no one was apparently looking. A siren blared, and she had to mentally apologize to everyone else for her disrupting whatever they'd been doing. For now, she focused on getting the hell out of there. Taking several steps at a time, she flew down the stairs, until she finally hit the bottom. Bursting out of the door, she had to squint at the sudden brightness. Sprinting, she made her way to her hideout, collapsing onto her pile of cushions when she finally made it there. Too tired to do much else, she fell asleep within minutes.Afraid of a little bad luck?

Hoyle Some people just don't understand my sense of humor... "How the?-" Hoyle's head tilted slightly in confusion slash panic. How does he know my name, she thought "It doesn't matter who I am, so don't you be blabberin that name around, ya here?" Then she thought about the questions he'd asked, and she bristled at the mention of today's activities. There was no way the police could have traced that bombing back to her. Maybe in a few days, if they managed to scrape enough shrapnel from the bombs to work out her calling card. But it had been only a few short hours and the authorities were probably still securing the scene and assessing the damage; too soon to discern the details. So this guy wasn't part of Gotham's finest. "You've no proof that I bombed the mall, so don't even think of trying to sue me," she stated matter of factly. Thinking back on the events that had unfolded, Hoyle racked her brain for a woman hero. However, what the agent didn't know was that she had left her monitors to counter Black Market in person. After setting her plan's final stages in motion, she had abandoned her vantage point and completely missed seeing Ceilia's actions. The footage was stored in a secondary place, but Hoyle hadn't been home long enough to access and review the events. But being who she was, Hoyle wasn't about to admit that something had happened without her knowledge, especially in such a special event as this. "Yea, I remember a girl," she lied smoothly through a brilliant smile. " She was definitely, one of a kind." Hoyle laughed at her own joke. ...But then those are the people I tend to blow up.

Black Market Black Market looks back and listens to the female hero and nods "Isn't the mask to help hide our identities and what better way to protect people than use the powers you have that they don't." He says looking at her. "Also as far as teaming up, I am a new hero, but I am pretty skilled at taking out the normal baddies, so just help me take out the more "Special" ones... I have an idea. This place is pretty unknown and no one ever comes around here.. Wanna make this our hideout?" He asks adjusting his helmet before looking at the time on his HUD. "I can start bringing stuff over in a couple days after I have healed up a bit and put on my normal suit while repairing this one." He sticks his arm out to shake her hand. "Let's try this again... My name is Black Market." Agent The Agent laughs a bit don't worry I don't intend to put blame on you for earlier 's bombing incident nor do I intend to reveal your true name, all I want to know is how the girl acted and what powers she used to help save the civilian. If you could tell me that I will gladly leave you and your adorable pets alone." He says as he starts to reach into his shirt.

Hoyle Some people just don't understand my sense of humor... "Easy now poppet," Hoyle countered. She eyed his hand reaching into his inner shirt pocket and the aim of her pistol raised to align with his face. "She did what all people who think they are special do. They meddle." Hoyle wasn't about to be pushed around by some suite who happened upon her layer. If he wanted information, he was going to have to work for it. And who goes around asking about powers anyway, she thought. He sounded like a fanatic from some science fiction movie. She imagined that next he was going to tell her that there are aliens that lived among them. "So tell me, what would a stiff like you be needin with someone of the vigilante type anyway?" ...But then those are the people I tend to blow up.

Agent The agent smirked at the sight of the gun and raised his hands slowly before speaking "Now miss Hoyle it is all in due time that we will learn these things. If you would like I could very clearly explain this all to you. Just allow me to reach into my suit, I assure you it is not a weapon and I will even pull it out slowly." He says with a devilish smile of confidence. As he lowers his one hand and reaches in to his suite he pulls out a small cylindrical item that he held up to her. "This is called a 'neuralyzer. A gift from some friends from out of town. The red eye here isolates and measures the electronic impulses in your brain. More specifically, the ones for memory." He says and a flash then appears in front of Hoyle. In front of Hoyle appeared a man in a black suite wearing a smile "And that miss Hoyle is why you should lay low for a while. I thank you for your time and listening to me as I explained how Black Market might be lying low due to injuries. If you request my service any further don't hesitate to call again." He says bowing and walks out swiftly. If she had followed he would have been nowhere to have been seen.

☽Shadow Walker☾ ☪I've got bad days so caught up in my mind, and I'm... ✧Not really sure who I am, and nothing seems to go my way at all, "You'll need training, since your clearly a rookie still. We'll need to get you lot of proteins, yeah....the male species do seem to enjoy meat...Bacon I think is the one you are all obsessed with." Turning her attention back to her kitchen, "Bananas! You'll need lots of them to prevent leg cramps. I suggest you start running everyday." Peaking her head around she eyed his armor. "It's heavy, but you'll need to train with out it, you'll only do more damage to your tiny human body with it." Turning on her heel she returned to the kitchen again. "Ah yes I still have some spices from home!" Ceilia kept rambling as she cooked, "Oh, an if you don't want to end up dead, don't ever show me your face. You don't ever mention me to anyone, that is unless you don't value your life."

Black Market It was probably odd to see, but Black Market started to laugh a bit as she tried to give suggestions and start doing things. He was new, but he was the only hero left on this planet that was actually committed and she was new to him so it shouldn't be this underrated. Shadow, it's ok, I have been training or I wouldn't still be alive right now, and I have been doing most of what you have already said except the bacon thing... Not really sure how that helps?" He says following her in to the kitchen and leans against the door frame. "You aren't the only one on the run, I would die as well if anyone found out my identity so your not the only one."

☽Shadow Walker☾ ☪I've got bad days so caught up in my mind, and I'm... ✧Not really sure who I am, and nothing seems to go my way at all, "If only death was the worst they could do to..." The light in the room flickered as she gripped her counter. Shaking it off she turned and smiled, "Well I think I have an old training outfit you can have, I'll have to get you something with a hood...no that won't due, I'll just have to make it myself." Mumbling to herself she began to set her table. For a run down apartment she still have fancy china ware for a table. "You made your suit correct, I would assume you'd know how to make fabric as well? Oh and I'll need some of the metal you use for your armor. It's nonmagnetic I assume, and I doubt it's corrosive?" Looking up she studied it again, "I may have miscalculated the strength of humans, I'll need more research." Books did litter her apartment, how else had she learned so much about this planet in such little time. "The food's ready, I hope lamb stew is alright. mmmh human minors aren't allowed wine. Sweet tea it is." With that she she fetch a pitcher from her fridge before pouring them both a drink.

Black Market "Lamb stew sounds great and what makes you think I am a minor?" He asked taking a seat and using his inside system makes a little hatch in his mask slide to the left so that he could speak more freely and put things in his mouth. "You don't know how long it took me to realize I would need one of these things until I fell in to a river bed and water got caught in my mask." He says trying to ease any tension or awkwardness she might be feeling. "You wont find anything on my technology or suit in books or online, I made this myself so there is no reference for it. You could probably find some of the materials and technology, but I doubt there are many with this capability except maybe advanced parts of the military." He says trying to ease her research. "I can help you learn more of this world if you'd like."

Hoyle Some people just don't understand my sense of humor... Hoyle followed the agents movements, her gun poised to fire at the slightest provocation. However the device he pulled out looked anything, but threatening. In fact, it looked more like one of those trick pens that light up or make noises when you write with them. She was almost about to laugh at him for pulling such a joke over on her when the device made a blinding flash. Then she found herself blinking up at a man that was advising her against any further actions. She didn't know who this guy was, or how he got here, but from the sounds of it, she thought that maybe he was one of those secretive guys that was more ambiguous, neither ally or fiend. However, she was happy to hear that Black Market was going to be out of commission for a while. That would give her time to continue preparations for more operation. She was determined to wake Gotham up. "Thanks, I guess?" she responded to his remark, not remembering when or even if she had called this man for help. It didn't seem like the kind of thing she would have done, but then again the man was here. She watched him make a hasty exit, not making a move to follow. Instead, she looked over at her faithful canine companions, a gleeful smile splitting her face. "We did it babies!" she shouted, throwing her hands in the air, letting the pistol fly from her hands and off to some corner of the room. "Gotham knows us!" ...But then those are the people I tend to blow up.

Cornelius It had been about two weeks since the events of the market bombings and the police were getting nowhere on apprehending Hoyle. She along with Black Cat and another masked vigilante were right under Black Market in the main apprehension list. All the names underneath were of wanted criminals in the city, but not nearly as high as these four. Two super powered vigilantes supposedly working together and two villains, one with powers that both have been causing damage and money or jewel theft.
A man walking down the street holding a picture of Black Market in hand dressed in a white and black jacket, hands in pockets was slowly making his way towards the police station. He wistled on his way with the hoodie over his head and a grin to boot. He said hello and good morning to those he passed, but never taking his eyes off the building for too long. With a chuckle he walked up to the front of the building about ten feet away looking at a cop talking to another laughing happily. I will break you.... Is what he thought before taking a step forward and pulling out his 9 millimeters out shooting the two cops down.
The gunshots got the immediate attention of everyone around the area who then proceeded to take cover and the cops inside who did the same, but with weapons drawn. "Well..." He says to no one as he grabs a device from his pocket and clicks the button causing parked cars around the area to explode. Not long after did a truck come speeding by him slamming into the front doors of the police building. After crashing men started to shoot from the windows at who they saw all wearing skeleton masks and tried to get off the bus to over run the cops, getting killed in the process. "This should get his attention." He says under his breath and gives a smile as he raies his hands up and looks at the on lookers of the civilians "WELL HELLO THERE!!!" Black Market Black Market was working on some of his tools as he heard the incoming police transmissions quickly change from random acts to the battle that erupted and for back up immediately at the 302nd division police station. He quickly turned on the news where a helicopter was just now starting to come on station showing what was happening and a man on the ground looking up waving. He grabbed his suit and it folded around him as he ran to Shadow Walker in the other room "Shadow! We gotta go now! The police are under attack.

Sitting at his desk Malik looks around as the other police officers work their own cases, he looks at his desk and it has pictures of the top four criminals in the city. He exhales and looks up at his partner and said loud and sharply. "Jason" Then in a calm voice "You want to go get launch?" As Malik stands and grabs his coat dispatch goes off, in a loud but calm female voice. "ALL UNITS ALL UNITS 302nd division police station is under attack by unknown number of assailants.Malik without second thought runs out the front door of the station. He looks around for transport, but only cars are around, his stomach turns and he clinches his stomach and looks away from the cars "Man... this sucks.'' Malik looks down and his stomach settles. He kneels then punches the ground, he rips up a piece of earth and throws it out in front of him, with his left arm extended he flattens it into disk and jumps on, It rises about 7 feet off the ground and off he goes.

Detective The last two weeks had gone by in a series of long days, too much coffee with too little food and late nights. The media are calling the event the jester mall bombing. Some clever reporter had coined the phrase after word had spread of the victims being pulled from the gassed mall, all having horrific smiles frozen on their faces. It was grim enough without that particular image, but Perry could do little to stop it once the ball was rolling.
It was a stroke of luck that some of the security footage had survived the blaze, but it only served to confirm that the person behind these heinous acts was clearly methodical, sadistic, and had no regard for human life.
The detective was down in the shooting range, practicing her long shot and turning over the details of the case in her mind. She barely did anything else, something that her fellow detectives gave her no end of grief for. However, the way she aw it, making sure that this sort of thing never happened again was far more important than making sure that she went out to the movies once in a while.
It was when she had finished a clip and was examining her results on the target that she heard the alarm blaring on the PA system. Making sure that she had a fresh clip in her sidearm before returning it to her cross arm shoulder holster, she threw a jacket over it before walking out to the main office. The hollow feeling in her stomach told her this wasn't just another drill.
