"N-No! No! I'm done! Don't---Can I at least put on a shir--" Well this was a bit of a situation. Just when he thought he could finally put on a shirt. FD had gone and disappeared. Something about having to use the bathroom and because there wasn't any other host members here...they decided to shove Ephraim out again since he's been sold to the lovely Victoria.
Oh boy, well this was embarrassing but this bidding had gone stale some time ago. "Sold to Roy! You just won yourself a bald general." he called, shooing Wallace off stage and introducing the next bachelor.
"Our next prize is a new comer of the guild. Alex! The bidding starts at the usual start. 5 gold!"
He stepped back, shrinking a bit over to the side of the stage as he tried to hide from the crowd long enough until FD got back..then he could probably go and be done here.

 Timidly in the crowd, Mihira uncomfortably stood, clenching her arms tightly in front of her. There were too many people for her liking, and many of them were taller than her, making it hard to see the stage where the bachelors were. She had arrived late anyway, and had no idea who was even currently on stage.
She tried jumping up and down some, but all she could really see was red hair. She thought about who all she remembered from the list of bachelors and remembered seeing Zeiss on there. She didn't think anybody else really had red hair, so it had to be him up on stage. "...I-I'll bid.. um... one hundred gold!" she choked out.
Little did she know that Zeiss' name had actually vanished from the list.

FD returned and thanked Ephy for taking his place while FD was in the restroom to go snort a line. Getting him as a member for the Host Club was definitely a good decision.
"I hear one hundred gold! Do I hear higher?" Eight days later, "Okay! Sold for one hundred gold! Thank you for your purchase!"
"Our next bachelor knows his way around a forge! Step on up, Enailios. Bidding starts at 5 gold, of course."

An axe with a random number on it waved up out of the audience. It looked hastily painted on, and a frustrated man, annoyed by the silence, called, "I'm just gonna put five hundred down on this guy and the next one together! 'S move this along," he grumped, more quietly. Well, five hundred would get him two guys to help move his stuff into his new house, cheaper than a moving service.

Out of nowhere, an arrow with a note pinned to it flew through the air to hit the pulpit with a number attached to it. Shinon stood there with a bored expression on. "If we're gonna move this along, I bid eight hundred. Bah, I don't even know why I'm bothering with this..." Truth of the matter was, he was bored. Very bored. That and, the idea of having someone he could have wait on him hand and foot for at least a little while sounded amusing. It sure beat the alternative of him wasting his own time doing such minor, petty things. Why work, when he could have someone else do it for him? If he didn't have to, he wasn't gonna. Enough said.

A dazzling snakeman in a suit of white silk, trimmed in gold, stormed onto the stage, grumbling, and snatched the arrow, then turned to the crowd and cracked a wide, toothy grin. "Well! I only know two people rude enough to send a message this way, and since Rath is backstage, we have a bid of 800 gold from Shinon! Anyone?" He looked around, tail lashing. "That's eight hundred gold, two hundred-odd solid pounds of blacksmithy man-muscle, going once! Twice? Really? Alright, sold! I'm so sorry, Enailios," he added, ushering the poor, poor man offstage.
"Alright," he said, signaling offstage to have Zeiss pushed onto the stage. "Here we have the famous, topless Bernese wyvern rider of the Eyris Guard-- and no, it's not Vaida. Sorry, guys. No, it is Zeiss! And yes, he comes WITH the wyvern, so if you need something airlifted--"
"Two thousand gold," piped up a voice from the back. Dietrich was done playing games. He had plans for this one, oh yes. Plans that would end an insufferable problem he had been enduring for what seemed like forever.
"... You interrupted my speech. Hmph." Ganon turned his nose up, then looked out over the crowd. "Fine, we have two thousand, going once..."
[You guys got half an hour. Movin' this along.]

"... twice, and sold, for two thousand gold!" The snake ushered Zeiss off the stage, and Dietrich came up to haul him away immediately. "I'm not sure who I feel most sorry for today. Any case, this brings us to the final three bachelors in our lineup! Let's get started with another famous Wyvern Lord, the man who taught Zeiss everything he knew, Gale!" The Wyvern Lord was brought out onto the block, and Ganon darted around him with a flourish ill befitting someone so gigantic.
"A fine specimen of a man! Observe the rippling biceps! The... the... other muscles, here, and here! And he is all yours, for a day, starting with a bid of JUST. FIVE. GOLD, do we have five gold, do I hear five gold..."

She was focused on a certain person, who had yet to be presented onstage, and so her mind wandered. Some of the bidders had... interesting match-ups as a result of their victories. She hoped Sunil would be okay with Lethe. She was always rather strict with other laguz. Wanted them to make a good representation of their people, which she could understand. And then--
"...another famous Wyvern Lord, the man who taught Zeiss everything he knew, Gale!"
Amelia's green eyes darted up, watching as Ganon gestured to the blue-haired man before finally opening up the bid. Now!
"Five-thousand gold!" Amelia shouted, strong and clear, as she held up her hand to ensure she was picked out easily in the crowd.
Hey, there was no point at this time in holding back or being cautious. {Graceful Spear} "What... I mean is... Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all‑forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy.

Amelia simply straightened her spine and lifted her hand again. "Six-thousand." She smiled calmly over at Vaida, sunny and without a touch of concern in her voice, before turning back to the stage. I can play this game as long as you can, Vaida. You don't scare me.

Vaida's eyes widened a little bit and she slyly turned away from Amelia before hastily opening her pouch of gold to check her funds. She bit her lip and scanned around for some of her soldiers that she could 'borrow' from, but came up empty. A hushed growl later and she had regained composure. "Sorry, you're not worth that much." she shouted to Gale, nose in the air.
Putting on a charade of accepting loss well, Vaida began to walk off, but stopped just for a moment by Amelia. "Just be sure to make him wear something skimpy that we can all enjoy." she whispered with a devilish grin.
After she turned the corner into a side street, her graceful waltz transformed into brash stomps and she began to grumble to herself. "Damn crew salaries..."

"T-t-TEN THOUSAND!" Ganon was aghast! That was more than he'd expected this whole thing to bring in, really-- six thousand for Ephraim had been stunning, but this! He whistled long and low, grinning over at Amelia, and slammed the gavel hard enough to leave a serious dent in the podium. "SOLD! For ten thousand gold to Amelia! Go on down there, boy, and make it worth her money, huh?" Wink. Or blink. Hard to tell with just the one eye.
"Well. That was exciting! Now, it's time for a treat... put your hands together to welcome the master horseman from the plains of Sacae, the man with the thousand-mile stare and the beard that'll melt your panties right off, champion of archery, the nomad with no smile, give it up forrrrrr..."
The curtain drew back with a flourish to reveal the famous vice-captain of the FEF crew, dazzling and SHOWING OFF FOR ONCE, HOW UNLIKE HIM.
"UHAI!"
There was a beat of silence.
"... Wait, sorry, it's just Rath. Just Rath. Five gold?"
