Vi(ara) Tsu'vell ~~~~ Noble Ambassador

"The shadows are not an enemy to be feared....

Vi smirked at Terra's reaction to his gaze. In her eyes he must have seemed like any other woman obsessed fool, so be it. After all a beautiful woman was indeed a fabulous prize, but for this endeavor it was not the main prize. Better she think him a harmless letcher, then have her get close and start looking a bit too deeply. He turned his attention back to Logan and nodded. "yes some rest would be nice. I'd very much like to acquaint myself with the quality of your beds" he said, peering out the corner of his eyes at Tera once more in a very "if you know what I mean" matter. "to rest these old elven bones ofcourse" he said with an innocent chuckle. He was about to depart when he noticed Vilith eying the man in the suite of armor. "their armor is quite elegantly adorned isn't it? quite a marvel to behold" he said, patting the timid mermaid on the shoulder, not paying the creature any mind, not that he didn't detect the aura he gave off, but because the thing gave off such a huge presence that to stand and gawk at it would basically be giving one's connection to the darkness away. And Vi didn't intend to do that so early.

....they are like a lover to be intimately entangled in."

Logan smiled patronizingly at Vi. He tried to settle a sense of foreboding at the thought of allowing Vi to scavenge upstairs under the pretense of checking out the beds. "Certainly. The master staircase is right behind me." Pivoted to the left, Logan extended an arm in invitation as he spoke. "Victor, would you be so kind as to show our guests to their bedrooms." Logan said smoothly.

The Strategist's Apostle

A figure clad in a military outfit, similar to the ones used 400 years ago, enters into the town of Remna, as the sun was crossing into its dusk. His dark eyes glance around and corner of his lips turn upwards, a sense of arrival being filled inside of him. He's close to his destination. He didn't know why knows, but, simply....he just knew. he adjusts the travel sack that's hoisted over his left shoulder and moves onward, deeper into the town.

Maríen stops at a baker's vendor and purchases a loaf of bread to snack on while he searches for his destination. After the exchange takes place, Maríen continues until his eyes catch sight of a building in the woods on the side of the nearby mountain. His objective. With a new found sense of direction, Maríen enters the nearby path that leads into the forest without hesitation.

As he meanders through the woods, the sunlight was beginning to become more overcome with darkness. Then, just as the sun was passing along the horizon, Maríen feels a ting in the back of his mind, and before he knew it, the forest was covered in darkness. Along his feet is a slight mist and a crow flies above his head. His eyes dart from side to side as his alertness came to an all-time high. Cautiously, Maríen continues along the path, he head slowly swiveling to check his surroundings: left, right, front, back, and above. Then, he catches two yellow spots in the darkness to his right, a pair of eyes illuminated by the moonlight, followed by a low snarling. A wolf emerges from the darkness and Maríen stares straight at it, knowing that there must be others that have surrounded him. He drops his travel sack and quickly breaks into a run, thinking that he would need to find a large tree. The wolf, and two others from its pack, give Maríen chase as he strays off the path.

As Maríen runs, he grabs a large stick and impales the ground with it, a marker so he knows where to find the path, a turns to the right as he runs straight forward. He can hear the trots of the wolves behind him and knew they were quickly catching up with him. His eyes begin to scan the trees around him, as he searches for one that can support his weight. He soon finds one a little questionable, but he knows that he is running out of time. Quickly, he raises his left hand and the symbol on the back of it lights up a gradient of yellow and green hues. He watches a pair of blue circles appear where his hand points, one above the other to show where his body would appear and where he would land. He directs it above one of the branches before immediately stretching his fingers to their maximum, activating his teleportation ability and "blinking" as he calls it, to the branches. For Maríen, he feels his body quickly pulled to his Blink location, but for others, they would see his body break into small blotches of matter while hearing a fwip, the blotches disappearing soon after.

Upon finding himself at his intended location, Maríen crouches, lowering and stabilizing his center of gravity, and places his left hand along the trunk of the tree. He balances himself on a thick branch as he watches the wolves come onto where he Blinked from. They looking around, sniffing curiously as they attempt to find his scent. With his right hand, Maríen unclips a rectangular apparatus from his belt and pushes a thin lever forward, which was flush along the back side of the apparatus, while tossing it upwards. A dark, telescopic, blade springs forth the rectangular case, with a circular hilt emerging around the base of the blade; the hilt has points that run on a plane parallel to the blade and are only half an inch long. These assist with blade-locking.

Maríen catches the handle of his folding sword as the blade is pointing downward. One of the wolves walks underneath Maríen's tree as it looks around, searching for a sign of its prey. Maríen takes this chance drop from the branch, landing on top of the wolf as he impales the back of its head with his blade. The ears of the two other wolves perk up and they turn toward Maríen, bearing their teeth and growling loudly; Maríen flips the sword so the blade points skyward and he turns to face the two creatures. One of the wolves begins running at him and jumps, attempting to tackle him. Maríen side-steps and spins on his heel, stabbing his blade into the back of the beast and cutting back, creating a large gash that spills blood along the gray fur of the animal. The wolf squeals before passing out from the intense pain, only to succumb to death later on. Maríen faces the other wolf, but it was already in mid-jump. The body of the wolf tackles him to the ground and begins snapping at his face. Maríen struggles a bit, shifting his head side to side so his skin isn't wolf dinner. Speedily, he grabs the mouth and the back of the head of the wolf and uses the leverage of the snout snap its head to the side, breaking the neck of the animal and ceasing all nerve response. The body of the animal falls limp and Maríen moves it to the side. He sighs a bit, wiping his face with his left hand, before searching for his sword. He picks it up among the dirt and wipes the bloodied blade clean along his pant leg, before pulling the lever along the handle and watching the blade collapse into its housing. He clips it back to his belt before walking in the direction he ran from. Eventually, he comes to the stick in the ground and makes a left. He doesn't stray from his direction and eventually returns to the path he ran from, picking up his travel sack in the process and returning to his journey.

Maríen comes up to a large, gated wall, behind it being an open courtyard and an extravagant mansion. He pushes the gate open and passes through it. He happens to notice a carriage off to the side and shrugs, moving right along to the front door of the house. He raises his left hand and knocks three times along the hard wood.

Upon hearing the knocking on the door, A'teris walked towards the front entrance from the other room to greet whoever decided to travel by.. other means. Her gloved hands wrapped around both of the handles and she opened the doors wide and a smirk graced her soft, violet lips. "Mm, look who made it after announcements," she muttered and gave a small bow at the human to appear polite. "Most of everyone is here sir and ready to retire," she told him, stepping aside so he could be excused from the outside and join the rest of the party to their prepared chambers.

Victor Balston

Victor smiled as the guest entered the manor but once their backs were turn it faded rather quickly. Only four guests were present and yet two were missing in action, more work and a hassle for him but he would do what Master Logan order. It wouldn’t be long until he would go back on his route to see if the other guess showed up in the location for pick up but at this time he took the opportunity to check on the horses to see if they were ready for the next round. Upon getting closer the black mare wasn’t fond on how close Victor was getting and soon stood on its hind legs as a warning to not come any closer. Victor reacted with a sneer but kept his cool as if he how no clue on why the horse was acting this way. “Now now, we still have a round or two left so keep calm will you?” He asked politely as if talking to a guest. He honestly would have just told the horse to stop with a few choice words but with guest being here it wasn’t the best idea. As the horse calmed down, only because Victor started moving back to the manor and just happen to just in time.

By opening one of the large elegant doors he heard his name, seeing he was now going to lead the guest to their chambers he shut the door behind him gently and walked over with a respectful bow.” I will be more than happy to assist.” He smiled; as he stood he grabbed the candelabrum that was on one of the dark wood side tables closest to him. About to lead the guess upstairs he stopped to hear a knock on the door but before he could move a step closer to the door A’teris beat him too it, he wouldn’t of argue anyway especially with her. Waiting to see who was at the door Victor slightly looked up the stairs to see Voonyarhal doing his infamous statue stance, all the servants were at least not shy or hiding from the guests they needed to attend to, even if it meant standing still it was at least something. Looking back at the door he noticed a man who seemed to travel here by foot. Victor had to admire the man’s bravery for traveling her at night but a foolish act was a foolish act, no matter how brave it was. Smiling at the man Victor gave a quick bow.”Nice for you to arrive, if you were waiting for a ride here I apologize but please let me show you to your room, you must be exhausted.” He offered.

Maríen glances up a bit to see a female Dark Elf answering the door. He feels as though he has seem this kind of race before, but he couldn't exactly pinpoint, in his memories, where. Even so, he mentally shrugs and politely nods to the Dark Elf, muttering a thanks, before entering inside the expansive-mansion interior. It isn't long until he hear's another voice, this coming from the stairs in-front of him, which his head turns toward to see a fellow human. After hearing his words, Maríen replies, along with a half-hearted shrug, "I wasn't really expecting a ride to this place, but, actually, I am hoping to have a quick word with the Lord of the house, if it is, at all, possible."
While he was speaking, Maríen had taken quick glances around to get a sense of the interior and note possible exit ways, in-case he ever got trapped. Experience, in the back of his mind, instinctively made him do so. After getting an idea of the locations of the doors, he takes note of the high chandelier, wondering if it could support his weight. If not, he could still use either side to his advantage.

A'teris firmly shut the doors after searching outside for any other guests as strange as this one (she wouldn't be surprised) and turned her attention to everyone else. Her aqua eyes wandered to Victor, she gave him a devious smile seeing as he didn't object to her which was smart. She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest in amusement as he scanned the mansion. What was he looking for? A prize? When he requested to speak with the Lord her gaze darted to Logan and her jaw clenched.

"The shadows are not an enemy to be feared....

Vi turned his attention from Vilith back to Logan and bowed his head politely. "splendid, you have my gratitude lord Damon" he said with a posh chuckle. He was prepared to follow Victor up the stairs as directed, however a knock on the door quickly halted their progress. Vi was mildly annoyed, however that feeling disappeared completely as he saw a rather shapely dark elf woman stroll in from another room to answer the door. Certainly not expecting to see one of his kind here, and not one so attractive either, for the first time Vi found himself blatantly gawking at the woman, dropping all hints of subtlety. He could tell almost immediately that she was not of his clan, which was fortunate as it meant not having to bother figuring out where she was on the family tree. Her rich lavender skin so smooth, her snow white hair so pure, her buxom figure and wide hips radiating in primal appeal. Vi didn't even notice the new guest arrive, to caught up on the servant woman. However realizing what he was doing he brought his hand to his mouth and chuckled. "I must say Lord Damon you do us a disservice to hide such a gem" he said, approaching A'teris. "Victor is a strapping young man no doubt, but had such a beauty as this come to greet us I would have imagined us being escorted to heaven rather than to the estate of a noble." he said, reaching up and running his fingers along A'teris's cheek and under her chin. "and what may I have the honor of calling you, my sweet?" he said, seeming to have completely forgotten about his prior pursuits of Terra. So was the love of a noble, a fickle thing indeed.

Oh, and she had spent her time looking for this so-called gem that had either entered the room when she wasn't aware or been there the entire time. Only then she realized that this guest was referring to her. Yes, the guest that happened to be from the same race as her. A'teris didn't step away as he came near, but instead allowed his fingertips to touch against her skin. "A'teris sir. My name is A'teris, though the other servants know me as Teri to be brief," she replied and gave him too a small bow as a sign of respect. Servants didn't normally ask the name of the guests that they were to tend to.

((Out.Of.Cereal: You made me laugh. Thank you good sir. ))

Logan was relieved that things were getting underway. He had listened to his friend for so long, he was enthusiastic to hear he was coming. He was almost impatient.
When the doorbell rang a pang of excitement ran through him. It was disappointing to say the least when he saw it was someone different when A'teris answered the door. Logan did get some amusement, however, when Vi gawked at her beauty. At least A'teris can be used to counter Vi if he resists darkness.
Looking at his other guests he noted that Vil didn't have the same sort of spellbinding effect A'teris had on Vi.

"If I had known one of you was a Dark Elf I'm sure I would have had her greet you first thing." Logan replied coolly.

"The shadows are not an enemy to be feared....

Vi swirled his finger along A'teris' skin for a moment as he gazed into her stunning eyes. The woman up close, held signs of someone who had been through their share of troubles....however while "Vi" would find these traits to be unsightly, Viara couldn't help but be drawn to them. As someone who worked and did dirty business for a living she could relate, and appreciate it. A'teris...what a beautiful name, though please do tell me the whole of it" he said, saying he wanted to know her full name, as he would when introducing to a friend instead of asking a servant what to call them. Elitist as it may be Vi considered even this servant Dark Elf to be above the other assortment of lesser creatures. "Teri?...no that won't do. You have such a strong, beautiful elven name. It'd be a discredit to call you by anything else" he said, smiling at her suavely. "and please, no need to be so formal, call me Vi, Vi Tsu'vell" he said, taking her hand and kissing the back of it, allready starting to get flirty with her.
