  The two deckhands came into the storage room, flipping on the lights as they began looking through the crates one after another, "ar"ing to each other about what a pain it was. They stayed for several minutes, glancing through each crate to make sure the gold was still there. "Ar! Did Captain Sandy already steal the Sapphire?" "Aye! She has it somewhere on the ship!" The two left, turning out the lights as they went. Their footfalls faded until they could no longer be heard.

The thick forest was even denser as they moved forward, as well as being more harsher to breath from the fumes given off from the trees in the jungle. The mud was getting slooshyer and the bugs were increasing in numbers. Luckily for them, they had on a pre-spray the kept bugs away for 3days. Halting he finally sees something dead ahead. The forest was much more timid, the air wasn't pleasant even the pathway was cut off from the muckier mud in this damp deep jungle. Swatting her hand around from the bugs now that they increase their swarms, thank god the two snagged some spray to keep bugs away. Priestess Nali As the two approached the drumming they would come upon a tribal village, though this one was heavily occupied. Large bonfires and torches lit up the night sky, sending out smoke that could be seen for miles around. Tribals with face-paint and various outfits seemed to be in the middle of some kind of ritual, chanting ominously in an unknown tongue to the beat of the drums. In the center of all the commotion was the biggest bonfire. The flames of this one were bright blue, and in the center of the fire floated the Sapphire of Regret. On the other side of the bonfire sat Priestess Nali herself on some kind of bamboo throne. She watched Michi and Kaze with hooded eyes, obviously aware of their presence. "Come forwards, oh Agents of Death," she called to them in a heavy accent. The tribals stopped chanting and turned to watch, the drumbeats became lower and quieter so that those talking could easily be heard.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne remained silent in the shadows as the two spoke and listened to their convorsation. So the sapphire was on the ship. More than likely in the captain's quarters. When the two left and she heard they were far away, Madilyne dropped gracefully and quietly down to the floor. She decided to wait until everyone was asleep or gone to look. Hopefully they would dock soon. With a sigh she sat down behind a few crates, resting unseen until it was time. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After several hours of waiting the ship seemed to grow quiet. Though it was impossible to tell the time in the enclosed cargohold, it was a safe bet that night had fallen. Only the whir of the propellers could be heard as the ship continued its travel through the sky.

Tribals in various outfits with face paint chanting mix yet unidentified tongue to the beat of the rhythm in the drums. Bonfires and torches lit up to the night sky. Just then, the drums suddenly fads into a lower volume and the chants stops as they turn their attention to the two strangers. The kistune walks forward looking to the side unable to detect the Priestess behind this fire patting her hat then coughs a bit. "Sorry to put to a halt to this party here... or not. That gem there doesn't belong to you so hand it over and maybe we won't have any trouble here." It felt like the world had froze for a moment. He watches as Michi answered to the female on the throne. Priestess Nali Priestess Nali gave them a cruel smile as Michi challenged her. "Of course, we don't need to fight. You could always try to take the Sapphire and run. I'm sure you could get away....but...." She made a gesture and one of the grass huts collapsed, revealing a small cage with a child inside. "If you remove the Sapphire from the flames, this little girl will die. If you remove the little girl from the cage, the Sapphire will shatter. I know there's two of you, but before you try, if you remove both at the same time they will both be destroyed." She stood up off her throne and walked around the fire to face them. "But this isn't something you need worry about. You will die here unless you turn away now." The Priestess gave them another cruel smile. "The Sapphire belongs to me now. And I will use it as I see fit."

Using their people for their own purpose and ritual was little matter to him. He rather take the less tainted path, and take the sapphire and leave quietly without much fuss. There must be a reason why the priestess of this tribe must wanted to get rid of the sapphire. After all...it is the stone of regret. What if that child was the stone and the one in the flames was the diversion. What ever they do, they must act fast. Kaze made his decision...if Michi was to fight against this queen then he will accompany her. But even if the child was false or not...he would save the child at the cost of his own. Priestess NaliPriestess Nali smiled as she saw them become angry yet not leave. "If that is your choice than prepare yourself," she told them as the drumbeat began to increase again and the tribals began chanting. The Priestess took some strange, exotic fighting stance, still smiling at them as if they were friends.
