Leena gave a sigh even with the new deal her hand was not looking good. At this rate she was going to loose the full bag of chips and Asali was going to win it all. She laughed gently and waited, "So miss Asali since luck seems to be on your side how much are you going to bet and are you going to hold or hit?"

Leena laughed and pulled another card before standing to get them both a glass of water to drink, "Oh but sadly lady luck and I have never gotten along. So see I always get her ugly wreck of a cousin bad luck sitting on my lap."

Asali giggled and thanked her for the water. "That is unfortunate. If you like, I would be glad to take her place." She winked at Leena and looked mare to see what her next choice would be.

With the cards totaling 17 Leena could no longer draw more and it would appear that Asali won again. Leena poured out ten more chips and slid all twenty over to the other mare. "Looks like you win again dear Asali." She smiled and looked over Asali, 'Well I am sure I would much more prefer your shapely body on my lap. Though it might make playing cards harder. But I am sure we could figure something else out to do with you sitting on my lap." She said with a laugh as she picked up the cards and replaced them into the deck.

"True, playing cards would be difficult. Though now I find myself curious as to what else we might do." She left herself indulge in one of the chocolate chips as she looked at Leena. The mare was really entertaining to talk to and spend time with.

Leena watched as the other mare took up one of her winnings and popped it into her mouth. "Well shall we then give it a try and see what comes up you sitting in my lap? After all it seems your more interested in eating the winnings." She laughed softly and set the deck of cards down. And looked towards the window to see if the storm was still raging.

The rain was still heavy but the thunder and lightly seemed to have ceased. Asali followed Leena's gaze to the window. "Well at least the noise is gone. I can't help eating the chips... they are chocolate after all."

Leena gave a nod, "Yes it seems we survived the storm. Well then I guess we can say you win and I guess I must forfeit to you miss Asali." She smiled and stood up, "Shall I get an umbrella and we can walk you home before the storm has a chance to get strong again or would you like to stay longer?"

"Well as kind as your offer is Miss Leena, I am afraid it takes a few hours to walk to my home from here when the weather is clear. I wouldn't want to make the trek in this weather. So, if you don't mind, instead of free sweets as was the bet, you let me stay the night and I leave in the morning with the clear sky."

Leena listened and stroked her chin as if in though. "I don't know...." she said then smiled brightly, "Of course you are more than welcome to stay here for the night. I could not kick you out in this weather. I have more than enough space upstairs for you to stay over. I am sure that no one else will be coming here today so I guess I can close the shop early and we can make some dinner then I we can head on upstairs."

Leena smiled and gave a nod. "Of course. Could you please go to the door lock it and flip the sign? I shall start making dinner. When your done just come on around the counter to the back and you will find me cooking." She pulled on her apron and removed her whipped cream like hat setting it on the counter as she headed to the back with a giggle. It shall be like a sleep over.

She stood and walked over to the door doing as she was asked locking up the shop and flipping the sign to close. She moved into the kitchen and smiled looking aroun the area. "This is a nice kitchen, do you know what you are making?"

Leena was standing next to a stove a large pot heating up as well as a pan. She was wearing her short apron and looked over at Asali. "Thank you kindly. Your the first person to come in here so welcome." she said softly and smiled, "I was thinking tomato soup and grilled cheese. Would that be alright with you?"
