Amelie laughed. "I think we'll be fine. You just gotta act cocky and sarcastic all the time and i gotta act... well.. Yuji-ish. There isn't really a word for it, i suppose." She watched him put his hands on his hips and felt sad that she couldn't do that any more. She had no hips. Guys bodies were so uninteresting. It was so much better to be a girl. Although she made a silent pact to herself that she wasn't going to drink anything today, just in case she might have to go pee later. She'd have no clue what she'd be doing.
Kiera smiled down at him, finishing her first pancake. "Hey Shortstraw." She budged the pancakes closer to him. "I made pancakes.." It reminded her of the time when Hikari made her make all those pancakes for the townsfolk. Then that little girl.

*Shorstraws eyes widened* "Finally REAL FOOD!" He happily took the plate and started to eat like mad. Although he relized when almost done and looked to her guilty his face full of surrup. "Ummm... sorry..." He chukkled, "thanks keria. This is really good, and it defently is great even more so thanks to not eating for two weeks stright. For the past too years ive been stuck to eat rats i found on the streets and things like that i could hunt depending ont he area. I missed food like this soooooo bad... i thik i could eat like... a million pankcakes!" He laughed happily.

Kiera smiled. "I'm glad that i could feed you, then. And it's fine. I'm not hungry. I already had one downstairs." She lied. She then looked to her door then back to him. "Do you want me to make you some more pancakes? I can do that if you like." There was something about her now when she talked to Shortstraw. Almost timid.

*Shorstraw sorta felt like he messed up becuse normaly he would have shared. "Well normaly i would say that's okay... but i'm like... really hungy." He laughed, "and i didn't relize that i ate it all befor eyou got much. Sorry." He blushed, "I just havn't had good food and long time i felt so spoiled after i left, always have food that was actully cooked. And these pancakes are great!" He smiled, "I can come help."

Kiera shook her head. "No. It's fine. You had a long journey back so i don't want to make you work any more than you have to." She nodded and got up out of the bed, stretching. "Besides, Hikari's downstairs too. She could help instead." She started to walk towards the door, when she encountered Asher. "No training for today, master?" Kiera looked to the floor then back to Asher. "No.. Not today. Sorry Asher." Asher shrugged. "Should've figured, really." Kiera left the room.

*Shorstraw smiled at asher* "She's been training too?" He chukkled, "I thought she was like the ultamate powerful already what else is there to train?" He picked up asher and litarly hugged her, "I sorta missed having your help. I wasn't able to call for you else the others would kill you. I could have used your advice a few times." He laughed.

Asher chuckled a little. "Oh the joys of demon hunters. They're so civil to their opponents. We like to think we're more sophisticated than that." She laughed. "And yeah, she trained because she wanted to do something productive in the two years. Even though i myself wasn't there for about one and a half years. Although there's always room for improvement~"

*Shortstraw nodded* "Well since for now on keria is going to be with me i figured she would help me fight them. I heard a rumor while i was away though there was somthing big coming however thats never happened befoer and the the deomns are behind it. So everyones more or less worried they wont be good enough for whatevers coming, I however never worried becuse i have kerai on my side." He laughed, "Although now if we have another spare i stand a better chance i think." He nodded.

Asher was intrigued. "Demon movement you say? Well that's oh so nice of them to include me. Oh how i love those guys." She said sarcastically, grimacing. She even thought about how the demons who she gambled with were worse than her sometimes. "Kiera's not that special really. Just someone with a reputation. Reputation is something that people fear the most. If people think they're taking on a lion they're too scared to see that the person is really a kitten." She grinned. "Not that i'm saying Kiera is a kitten."

*SHortstraw nodded, "i understand the metaphor and wha tyou mean Asher. However it hink it all has to do with who is facing her. She would defently fight me diffretnly then someone who suddenly killed me." He smerked, "Though even so it is what it is. I got alot more then the others have, most of all this they don't even know about."*

Asher nodded, then chuckled a little. "I suppose they've only known the Kiera that she used to be before you came along." Her eyes flashed. "And of course when she was with Cyril and Amnesia, but that's another matter." Asher looked to Kiera's door. "You know.. she's probably cooking downstairs and we're just idly chatting up in her room."

He laughed, "It's funny really i have a grilfreind cooking for me..." he laughed and hopped up. "Your right comeon!" He walked over to he door and soon down stairs and too the kitchen.*

Asher went to go sit on the table, and happily watched as Kiera was making pancakes. She'd already made a big stack, and she didn't turn her head when they both came in. How boring, Asher thought. Kiera was just being stubborn as usual. Although it amused her to think what was wrong with Kiera this time. It'd turned into a little game for her. She thought about this as she licked her paw, then looked to the stack of pancakes. "You know. I'm sure that'd be enough." Kiera put the spatula down. "I didn't realise i'd made so many."

Asher laughed. "That's a bit ironic, considering he mind is her greatest asset." Kiera shot Asher a look, and she made sure to lay herself down on the table in submission. Although she continued to patronise. "You know Kiera. I'm kind of hungry too. Do you think you could cook me up something?" Kiera put the spatula angrily in the washing up bowl. "Surely that's supposed to be the other way around..?" Kiera turned and handed Shortstraw the pancakes, before going to sit on the counter with her legs crossed. Asher sighed. "Just command me to be quiet and i will." Kiera shook her head, and indifferent stare not leaving her face. "Then what fun will i have?" Asher sneered. "Well with that permanent frown on your face, it's hard to tell if you're amused or not." Kiera shut up and looked away.
