batty sandiegoIt took Kiwi a moment to realize no one was manning this booth. He glanced about, but the only sign of life was a bat in one corner who seemed almost as clueless as himself. It kept chittering towards a round globe, almost frantically, and curious he stepped over.
Ah, so, it wanted him to guess a location?? ... Kiwi took a moment to study the globe, before placing his finger on a spot. "Could he be here?? ..."Quote: 31-60 : Stubbles perks up at your guess! You're... so very, very wrong. But the bat just remembered he had some extra tarts lying around in the back. He flaps away, returning with a tiny chilled pastry on a fancy napkin. Kiwi moved a little farther along the booth, and found a bowling area set up. It seemed intriguing, so he thought why not give it a try??
He gripped a bowling ball in his hand, took aim, and tossed. His first was a success, followed by three misses and then, two more knocked over pins. Not bad at all for a first try, he smiled to himself.

Ah bats. Bats reminded the Vampire boil much of home. They were a common critter that lived in and outside his family's home. Now, he was not at all fond of doing any cleaning. At the very least cleaning dentures. But it was something to do anyway.
Picking up the rubber thimble, obviously not well knowledgeable on things that you use to clean dentures, he began the cleaning process. Rubbing the thimble against the teeth, which caused a squeaky rubber noise. Looking left then right, he waited to see if anyone would say anything about the squeaking noise. With a shrug, he continued to clean until he was satisfied.
Apparently he cleaned so good that he got a shiny, new toothbrush.

Moving along. The boil noticed that the booth was lacking a certain something. Well no, not something. A certain someone. The booth operator. It was certainly not the first time he'd come across a booth that was seemingly empty. That time he ended up with a fairly red cheek from an Imp ghoul who smacked him across the face.
Little beady eyes stared at him, one particular set of eyes seemed to be staring quite more intently at him than all the others. "Hey batty where's your booth man hm?" Stubbles seamed to squeak and flap his wings a few times. Looking about, Ravnos furrowed his brow. "He's stuck in a well?"
The bat frowned heavily at him. Wait, bats could frown?

batty sandiegoAdiyan was back to see if he could guess were batty was since it had been fun the last time in trying to guess. Carefully watching the spinning globe as it started to slow down Adiyan points to the same location as Stubble does as well and once the Fu Dog touched the globe that it lit up dancing with color. Well that was cool, Adiyan thought to himself. He could see that Stubbles was really impressed with his guess and Adiyan now thought the bat was cute and would definitely would come back later on. Not only did you choose the same location that the bat did, but as soon as your finger touches the right country, the globe lights up, flashing with ecstatic waves of color. Whether that's just something this globe does or you have some sort of magical globe powers is irrelevant. Stubbles is incredibly impressed! You win two tokens.

Nearby a set of pins was set up. And perched nearby where a few bats who were curled up into little balls. Huh.
Reaching out, he grasped one of the ball shaped bats and gave it a roll at the pins. This bat ball seemed a little off kilter as all it knocked down were two pins. "Ah well." Ravnos shrugged as he shoved his hands into his pockets.

Awww yea. Now this was most certainly something he could get into. Ravnos had a bad habit of gambling. Especially when it came to races. If his Gram knew he was betting here at the festival she'd end his Undead life faster than he could scream 'No!'.
What could be the harm in a little bet?
None apparently. The bat he had finally decided on betting on won the race. Ah yes, he certainly had an eye for picking champs!

it's what i need
This bat was certainly big. She could probably give some of the bats back home a run for their money.
But what interested the boil the most was the barrel in front of her with the fluff balls floating around. When he went to reach for one he get a giant wing upside the head and a show of teeth.
He would have to put the....wet furry balls in his mouth? Most certainly not how he'd want to go about this. But no point in quitting when you've just barely started. Leaning forward, he tried using his fangs to grab at the fluffs. But to no avail he ended up nothing but wet.

batty sandiegoYin. Was. Going. To. Help. Stubbles. He was really, really trying. Really trying. He pointed to a new place, Gotham perhaps? And once again he managed to point to a wrong place. Stubbles seemed a bit excited at the guess though, peering at the map until finally flinging a seed at Yin's head. Yin was not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. ((BRB drowning my sorrows in bat gifs. JUST HELP STUBBLES ALREADY YIN GAWD))

Kwasi couldn't see what was so interesting about guessing the Bahama Triangle, it made sense what with the guy supposed to be running this booth being nowhere to be found. That's what happened when you went to that place right? You disappeared? Or was it Bermuda ... no, definitely Bahama. Oh well, he wasn't going to pass on the silver seed, so he pocketed it and wandered off.

batty sandiegoDanny wandered past the denture cleaning- she didn't particularly want to clean some smelly teeth- into the thick of the booth. She loved all these little bats flying around- it was just so cute! So many tiny wings that matched her own bigger wings.
There was a guessing game, and Danny shouted the first thing to come to mind. "A TRAVELING RUSSIAN CIRCUS CURRENTLY IN CHILE." She had a very active imagination, alright?
Apparently, so did Stubbles.

Sooo cloooose! Kwasi kicked the ground angrily and pleaded with the bat running the game to give him another chance. After all, it was obvious the ball had been dented, causing it to roll off course and miss the last pin. Obviously! Despite his whining eloquent pleading, he was denied another turn.

Kwasi almost passed right by the little bat racing station. He was certain the game was rigged. Or at least, only populated by the slowest, fattest, dumbest bats you could get your hands on. But hey, maybe today would be the day ...

Bats. Bats were rather cute creatures, spreading blights to crops should they feed on fruit, or, viruses that could infect humans from mites and the like. Still, some of the.. games had Lan going 'no' very firmly. Washing something? Like she'd ever soil her hands in such a way. No, they could wash their own teeth like everyone else. Besides, whoever had the false set of teeth was probably younger than herself. It was a safe bet really. Poor halloweeners, doomed to age so swiftly. (Then there was horsemen who had been up until recently, thousands of years old. As of now... Invictus was probably the eldest of her clan. Hard to say with Death and Medea.)
A game to spot where one 'Batty' was in the world? That was simple enough. The globe did make her pause, thinking about how once upon a time, they might have ruled, the lands they held- now lost, all because of hunters. A low rage simmered in her as she jabbed her finger at the spot. When the little bat denied her she glared. Cute as bats may be, she was not wrong. The bat probably just had no sense of direction. Why wouldn't Batty be in China? It was one of the most lovely of places. Still, Lan wasn't about to lower herself to arguing with a bat.

batty sandiegoOnce again the mothboil would appear at Old Batty's booth in a panic, looking for something. Like a moth to the flame- oh wait, no he really did have flickers of flames still on his arms as he ran towards Stubbles. "QAQ Gonna need that ointment again!" As per the last time, while patting down the flames, Phil guessed where the batling's master was and managed to get a positive response from the batling. It was a confused one- but positive.
