 Chrome Delcore Chrome scoffed, "We're only traveling together because it suits our needs...don't expect me to "have your back" or anything of that nonsense...if you're stuck...pray for a miracle."Pup yipped before trotting alongside Chrome, not at all perturbed by a rough shove to the side so the human could reach his bag. Chad was the first to enter Vormund City. Since it was dawn, Chad felt like now would be the best time to check out all the sites, before it got too crowded anyways. Immediately upon entering the city he turned to Kadaj and said eagerly, “Alright, let’s go to the Pokemart, I need to stock up on some more items in case we get in a few battles while in the wild. Once we’re done there, let’s get out of town and go to Mammut Lake. I think we’ll find some interesting water-type Pokémon out there that we could both use on our team.” Chad let out a breath and walked into a Pokemart on the edge of town. He already knew what he wanted when he went in.
He purchased a few potions and Pokeballs before finally exiting the facility and turning to Kadaj and seeing what he had planned for the day. There seemed to be a lot that they’d need to get done, but nothing that could be done in one sitting. Chad just hoped that whatever Kadaj needed to do wouldn’t take them all day to accomplish since they seemed to be on a role from getting to town from town.

  Kadaj sighed as he entered the city. It had been a long journey, but it was relieving to finally reach this place. He’d never actually been here before, so he was kind of looking forward to seeing what there was to see in this city.
He silently followed Chad to the Pokemart, and once Chad was done buying potions and Poke-balls, Kadaj decided to do the same thing. He didn’t like spending his money, but he knew that it would probably help him out in the long run to have these things. After getting out of the store he turned to Chad and quickly put his things away before speaking about where they should go next. “Alright then, how about we go to the statues dude? There are some statues or something in this city and a courtyard about them, I don’t know.” Kadaj shrugged, making it apparent that he didn’t know what he was going to do about finding out how to get there. He was kind of just hoping that Chad would ask someone in town about the statues since Chad seemed to like doing everything that involved a dominant kind of role in their partnership including asking for directions to different places.

  Tobren jumped out the room he stayed in with his sister, "I'm going to the Poke-mart! Bye!"
Razz slowly looked to its Trainer, "Scy...?"
"If Toby had any ability it'd be Early Bird..." the female said with a small yawn, "I'll just wait for Becca in the lobby..."
"This is awesome! Too bad, Necros doesn't like early morning...I guess that'll be something to get use to...Oh well!" the youth rushed to the Mart.

Chad let out a sigh and looked at a passing man, knowing very well that Kadaj would be too stubborn to ask for directions. “Excuse me sir, do you know where the statues and courtyard are for this town?” Chad turned to Kadaj and gave him that ‘happy now!?’ kind of look. The old man nodded and explained the legend of Latios and Latias and how they apply to this village. He then pointed to a direction far from the Pokemart, but still in town none the less.
After the old man left, Chad turned to Kadaj and smiled as he went over that in his head. “So yeah, it seems like we’re going to be walking for a bit before we get there, but you’ll get to see your statues.” Chad smiled and slowly began to walk, that is, until he noticed a familiar face. “Oh look Kadaj, Tobren. That’s the guy we met in Willycove. I wonder how he managed to get here before us?” It wasn’t that hard to figure out, considering they’d spent so much time on the route that they almost forgot to come to town. Eventually they made it through. If it wasn’t for Chad’s GPS, they would’ve gotten lost a couple of times.

Kadaj looked at Chad and sighed with relief as he decided to take the initiative in getting the information that was needed from the passing people. Normally Kadaj wouldn’t ever ask for directions, so he was excited to see that Chad was willing to learn to compensate for Kadaj as well. It was interesting to learn that there was actually a statue here that seemed to be a rather well known land mark. That just meant that Kadaj finally knew what he was talking about! “Oh yeah! I told you dude, there’s definitely another place here.” Kadaj smiled smugly before hearing Chad mention someone that they met a while ago. It was exciting to think about seeing someone that he had already met once because now he’d be able to show off his Pokémon and maybe redeem himself in another battle with Chad. “Oh hey Tobren!” Kadaj quickly adjusted his hair so that it looked perfect before continuing, “T-o-b-r-e-n.” Last time they had met, there were some problems that were being done with the name so Kadaj spelled it out. It just somehow stuck with him ever since. “What’s a guy like you doing out here without your sister or whatever she was.”

Tobren blinked in surprised then missed his footing.
"Ah!"
If one were to look closely Tobren had tucked in at the last second and rolled, but still came out looking like he fell on his rear. Wincing at how uncool that must of seemed the youth looked up to the two tall men from before...he blinked before pointing with an adorable surpised expression.
"The two guys from Willocove...ugh...lets see...That's right. Kadaj and Chad! AH!"
He scrambled up, brushing himself off while trying to hide his blush, he mentally fumbled for words before speaking.
"I'm sorry about before...its just...my Father's a breeder over in Sinnoh, family life was all around Pokemon Care. You're not the first ones who've had that reaction...a lot of people don't trust me..." he blinked hoping the hurt wasn't in his eyes like he thought. Not only did everyone distance themselves due to his trait to run off with Pokemon Info, but due to his nack for battling...he made more enemies than he wished for. Part of him was ecstatic that he hadn't of battled yet, he wanted to get to know someone before the learned of his little quirk. He shuffled his feet...

Chad was about to jump over and help up Tobren, but it seemed like he was already helping himself up before Chad could react. It must’ve meant that Tobren was used to falling over, or at least something like that. Silently Chad listened and decided that he’d probably need to better explain himself for allowing Kadaj to bring his Pokémon over to his house. “Sorry about that. I was making sure that Kadaj got to decide what he wanted to do. Some people just need to learn from their mistakes since they won’t listen to anyone else and to be honest, I think Kadaj is one of those kinds of people.” Chad turned around back to Kadaj and laughed nervously. He’d figured that they were close enough now that Chad could dish out on Kadaj on he wouldn’t get upset about it, but Kadaj did seem to have a rather unpredictable nature at times. “Anyways, I think that’s cool how your father’s a breeder, my father didn’t do anything that involved Pokémon, but I’m making a name for myself.”
Deciding that it would be best to let Kadaj speak for himself, Chad turned to Kadaj in a subtle way of allowing him to have the floor in the talking.

When Tobren was close enough, Kadaj stifled a laugh he’d built up while watching him fall on the ground. It seemed to fit very well with his personality. He didn’t know why, but Kadaj had the feeling that Tobren wasn’t really an only child, more like a child in a family full of people. That was just a hunch though, but Kadaj did know his families quite well, there were always people who just seemed more or less giving and those who were more soft-spoken or louder were always in families that had more than one person. In Tobren’s case, he seemed a bit more soft-spoken.
“Alright then that’s cool.” Kadaj turned to Chad and gave him a distasteful look, slightly annoyed that he had to deal with this situation. “I did it because I didn’t know him it’s not my fault dude.” Kadaj let out a sigh and decided to keep going, “Sorry about that dude, I just didn’t know you too well.” Kadaj shrugged, not really wanting to emphasis on it any more than he had to since there was nothing else to be said about.
He turned to his Poke-balls and held them both up, symbolizing that he had two Pokémon, “Yo’ Chad, I’m going to let my Pokémon out alright?” Kadaj waited for the ‘okay’ from Chad before he did so.

The trainer said her goodbyes to the statue, and began to walk away. As she walked towards the poke mart she saw a group of young trainers. Her umbreon walked beside her. "Um..bre..." She said calmly. Cassidy decided to greet the trainers. "Why, hello gentlemen. How are we today." She said playfully and laughed a little.
