Odd, both intangible and hidden beneath the ground, was safe from Weezing's Explosion, but he didn't let Resix rest on his laurels, bursting from the ground beneath him a moment after he hit the ground, aiming the most powerful punch he could manage at the most sensitive part of male anatomy. Did Odd just stoop so low as to throw a nutpunch? Yes. Yes he did.

As for his Klink, Rhythm was hit pretty hard but, despite the immense pain from the attack and the sudden lack of energy he felt, the Klink refused to go down without a fight. Spinning his gears at high speed, he began to Charge a powerful attack. When his red energy core began to glow a bright crimson, he compressed all of the electricity he could spare into a single sphere about the size of a baseball before firing the Zap Cannon at his attacker. Who knew if it would hit, however. Sadly for them both, their attacks found no purchase, the red-clad man and his Pokemon gone already. "Son of a-! I actually try to fight dirty -one- time and I can't even get away with it?"

With Lykas, the boy made to release a Pokemon, only to be halted by Mykel holding up a hand. The Gardevoir held a hand forward and a Psychic wall formed in front of him, blocking out the explosion. When it had cleared, Mykel's Psychic wall was released and the duo found the Poison-type userr was gone. "Are they getting weirder?" "Yes. Yes they are.

Al, back with those facing Browsix, wasn't even really getting prepared to battle him again when he left. Just.....left. "That was.....strange....." He voiced.

James simply shook his head. His pokemon met him halfway as he walked forward.

Litwick was positively glowing with happiness. It had saved a teammate AND enjoyed absorbing a nice, refreshing flame as well.

Snivy was perhaps happy to be alive or maybe even disappointed that it had done little more than act as a distraction. It wore the same unfathomable expression as its trainer. Indeed, the two were similar in many ways.

Taking a deep breath as Litwick and Snivy climbed onto his shoulders, James simply stated "Let's go".

Further words evaded him as he stepped towards the forest.

"Ffffffffffff~/~, this stinks of trap," Chaos cursed, recalling Warbringer.

"We made it?" Keiko asked to nobody in particular. She then thanked Rita and promptly recalled her.

"That was far too easy," I quipped as I recalled Samurai.

Hmmm... Why would they waste time with this ambition? Tactical and powerful, knowing when to run and all. Oh well. How pitiful. Veronica shrugged as she checked her hair, leafs and sand had fallen in it. The explosion had left a wide circular mark on the ground, the grass gone. Havoc had been forced to close her eyes, her vision a bit blurry at first but, a moment later, clearly seeing Purpsix's escape. "Yea, we made it," she smiled to Keiko. A growl escaped her snout. "Let's, Havoc." Veronica suggested for them to keep moving. She glanced at the others before continuing on the path to find the Berry Forest's location. Although if it wasn't that Havoc led her way, she wouldn't know the difference since some bushes carried berries and it quite tempted her to take a closer look. ...I'm here on a mission though. She would take a second glance at the others. So glad they're here, maybe I should say something. It isn't like me, I didn't even say hello. Veronica shook her head slightly.

Landing down on the ground, Dan approached Freya the moment he spotted her, ensuring her safety. "Freya! Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?" he asked, looking the girl over for any injuries. Of course he was worried about everyone but she came first in his mind. There would be hell to pay if the Hexagon Brothers hurt her.

Alex cheered as the Magmortar went down, Z returning to her side. "Good job Z! So...where exactly are we?" she asked no one in particular. Neither her nor Dan recieved much information on the mission other than the messages they got from GRAY. This was what happened when Dan chose for them to show up late, claiming he had to prepare. Personally, the blonde was just glad his injuries weren't severe from the last mission though still worried how he was holding up.

Freya narrowed her blue eyes at him and crossed her arms over her chest, a clear sign that she was less than pleased with her boyfriend at the moment. However, just before she would have given him the earful of a lifetime, the girl sighed and smiled.

"I'm fine." She said but a small wound on her arm said otherwise. It didn't really hurt and it wasn't very big, she'd had worse before. Like the time she'd sliced her knee on some sharp rocks while swimming around these islands. Or the time she'd gotten a concussion from a bad fall during a surfing attempt ... she never did pick the sport up again, really.
"You know, you should be back at HQ, resting." That smile turned into a frown and she stared him down for a short while before sighing again and shaking her head. "But, I guess I can't keep you from partaking in a mission. Anyways, where do we go now? Preferably somewhere Pignite can rest." He'd managed to pull off Protect just in time but didn't have enough time to put any real strength behind it before the explosion hit and slammed him into the ground. While he was standing now and looking not too bad, Freya didn't want to push it with another battle without having had a chance to heal him. While she did still have the rest of her team, the brunette didn't want to leave anything to chance, wanting everyone to be at their fighting best.

"Personally, I think the only thing stalled was his decision to escape." Sol quipped, recalling Swampert again. "Wise combination on your part, though... is everyone else alright?" He asked, looking around for the rest.

Metapod wasn't what one would called thrilled at the development. It had figured the whole deal was for defense, not to be used as a weapon. It looked a little dazed too, which was enough to make Amaranth apologize and recall it. "Is he a coward?" She finally asked.

A quick cursory glance revealed... well, little. With Purpsix gone, so was the Swalot too. Much as Ceramew would've been more than happy to pursue, such a move was futile. She looked around for the rest before she proceeded.

Damon had finished brushing himself off and directed his attention to Chaos

"Just randomly attacked on an empty island, doesn't sound like much of a trap, more of a plan."

He called back Toren, Vivian, and Snow.

"Trap, plan - they're trying to ~/~ us over, does it matter how you say what their method is?" Chaos asked. He didn't really mean to snap at the boy, but he had a REALLY bad feeling about this mission, and he wasn't the type to hold back.

Meanwhile, I wasn't sure if Sol was talking to me or someone else, so I just nodded his way. In my defense, I had a bad feeling too, even if it wasn't as bad as Chaos's.

"Well lets stop getting ready to argue and lets just find some information."

Damon wasn't really going to stand there and start an argument with Chaos, they could have gotten jumped again if they stay in one area. He coughed out some sand that he breathed in during the sandstorm, and started off, he motioned to Chaos and the other person if they were coming

As the Snagems entered Berry Forest they would not find hide nor hair of a single wild Pokemon, the forest was completely quiet, and positively dead looking as many trees were wilting, and should the Snagems continue to hang around they would notice that some trees would progressively wilt, a few of the more veteran members might know exactly what is going on here. Should they check the far back of the forest they would find a drill like machine dug into the ground, chugging away. The one maintaining the machine was one of the infamous Hexagon Brothers, Greesix.

For those entering Icefall Cave, they would notice that the cave was also devoid of wild Pokemon, but also devoid of water, the cave usually has a reservoir of ocean water which flows in from the outside, but now, there was no water, this was startling, should they go and check the falls they would find that the falls were still there, but the water was being fed into a large machine that span the falls, and who was overseeing the machine's work? None other than the towering Beartic hybrid himself, Prudence, don't make fun of his name, or else.

And lastly, for the Snagems heading towards Pattern Bush, they would notice the place wasn't so dizzying and maze like, if anything they once mesmerizing rows of bushes were gone, all dead, and the place was now just a flat opening among a bunch of trees, and in the middle was a towering machine that resembled a lighting rod, and Yellosix was standing near it.

Back with Sub, he continued forward with Blizz in tow, not saying anything just yet, focused on finding the way towards the chi signature. "Not so fast!" A childlike voice called out as a Shadow Ball whizzed towards Sub, Pallas acting instinctively as she pulled up to avoid the blast. "Where do you think you're going in such a rush?" A young Banette hybrid said as he appeared from nowhere in front of Blizz and Sub. "We're going to stop whatever is going on out there." Sub said in a cold tone. "Haha! But I want to play! Tell you what, why don't we play a game to see who lives? That sounds fun doesn't it!" The hybrid cackled. "Blizz, watch out for this kid, he may be a young inexperienced hybrid but he has the power of the meteorites behind him. While chaotic, he is deadly." Sub warned Blizz. "I guess that means you'll be dying a second time, Kareem." Sub taunted the hybrid. "Hey! No one calls me that! No one!" He shouted, hurl twin Shadow Balls at Blizz and Sub.

Damon walked towards Icefall cave.

"Hmm. no pokemon, this place gets more and more interesting.

Damon also noticed the cave was missing water. Taking more steps into the cave he decided to walk up towards the falls. He noticed that there was a machine that was taking all of the water.

What the hell?

Damon asked himself as he saw who was controlling the machine. It was something odd, he hadn't seen a Beartic hybrid before, for about a minute Damon was caught in an endless stare at the hybrid

"Oh, another one," Keiko whispered when she and the others made their way to the drill in the middle of Berry Forest, pointing out Greesix at the helm of the monstrous device.

"What the ******** are you supposed to be? Some kind of giant meatsickle?" Chaos jeered when he came face to face to the mighty hybrid at the end of the Icicle Caves.

Meanwhile, I instantly recognized the lightningrod Chi converter from seeing a similar device at the top of Stark Mountain. The dead shrubbery was an instant ticket to understanding what Yellosix was up to. "That's enough," I said loudly, calling out Simon as I walked toward him. This was NOT going to fly.

Damon woke up from his long daze at the hybrid.

"Yeah what are you?"

Damon said in a somewhat loud tone, he didn't want the cave to collapse off of his loud voice. He held Mal's ball in his left hand, just in case something went wrong.

James stood with his arms crossed and let his teammates do the talking. Snivy mimicked his master's pose, albeit with a bit more cockiness.
Litwick floated alongside, still glowing from its Flash Fire buff.
