Leo huffed a little laugh. "Don't I know it! I think you did better than me, though." She paused for a moment. "Who was expecting us to come up against a giant bird, anyway? Gotta admit that wasn't on my list of expectations for this trip." Then again, giant birds were never on her list of expectations for anything. Maybe she'd have to revise that.

He didn't comment on the bird. It had gotten to the point where West expected giant everything every time he left his dorm these days. What he hadn't anticipated were the costumes. Or the horny flowers. Or that fireman. "'Least it's fun," he said with a grin. This ghoul seemed all right. Clearly she could recognize a good fighter when she saw one. Not that his mildly elevated abilities had anything to do with the fact that he was a Hob. Nope nope nope. Not at all. He was just that awesome.

"If getting totally beaten up by a dove is your idea of fun, then yeah." Her voice was dry, but she could see the humour in the situation. It wasn't exactly a dignified battle, this, with that jack-awful music playing in the background and the somehow handsome-looking bird. "Ugh, I wish they'd just stop with this song. If it's even a song. I think it might be a specialized form of torture, rather."

"That'd be nice. It issa pain." West didn't want to mention the fact that the music was making him feel... weak. It was gross. He wondered where the song was even coming from. Maybe they could start attacking the speaker instead. West swallowed, considering for a moment that there might not even be a speaker. That this disgusting music could be coming out of the air. "Who knows? Could be."He leaned forward, intending to stand up, but was smacked back by a rogue wing. "It's gotta have a weakness somewhere," he muttered.

Eventually, you make it back to the drop point, the portal however, no where to be found. A haggard looking Desu-chan falls to her butt, panting from the run. “NO COSTUMES NOW. THEY CAN GO.” The removal of your garb makes you feel cleaner, more like the halloweener you are. Looking around she crawls over to a bush and pulls out a duffel bag. “OPTIONAL MISSING. GOOD TRICK OR TREATER TRAINING. WE MAKE RUKUS.” There are letters, boxes of chocolate, panties, and protection charms. “YOU TAKE ONE AND PLANT ON PAIR. BREAK THEM UP. IT DOES ITS OWN MAGIC. NO WORRIES.” She eyes the chocolates and panties. “JUST NO EAT. BAD FOR YOU. IF NOT, YOU GO IN THE POND.” She points further into the wood. “JUST SMALL WALK. YOU GO IN POND AND LOOK FOR PUMPKIN HOLE. COME OUT OTHER SIDE.” She pauses. “IT NOT HURT I THNK.” She nods and scoots to lean on a tree. “I WAIT. IF YOU PRANK, REPORT BACK IN HOUR OR I LEAVE BEHIND. HOUR TO HOME OKAY? GOOD.” Quote: The trip itself is over, and if you wish to leave now, you may. You’ll arrive on the other side via the portal, wet, smelling like candy and with a very exasperated Brauner motioning to head back to the school. He will ask if you brought anything back. If you tell him yes, he will remove all items, if no, he will look at you with suspicion but tell you that you stink and to go back to the school. THOSE THAT DISSAPAITED: Brauner would have smelled the candy on you and have removed at least one item from you before he sent you on your way. However, he does give you one pumpkin pill in exchange. ALL PLAYERS: Please post what you have left of your IC Loot. Even if you dissipated. If you don't, I will consider that you have nothing.
IF YOU DO THE OPTIONAL MISSION:Exit this thread and do a solo using any of the four items. (Dear John letter, panties, box of chocolates from ‘Your honeybunch’, or ‘protection charm’s.) You may use all or just one. If your solo is 500 words or more, you get +1 RP point, if 800+ words, you get +2 RP points. Return to this thread linking back to your solo for an extra IC reward. Solos have 4 days to complete before all prizes will be posted as well as the wrap up.

Bea was furious after being turned pink, but it seemed she had no time to dwell when a famously pink trick or treater had already jumped in to finish the bird. When Desu told the students to run, that's what Bea did and she didn't look back.
Later on, after stripped from her costume, Bea begrudgingly took the reward, and headed back through the pumpkin portal without saying a word to anyone.

Optional Mission Solo (800+ words)Phew, she made it back on time. Sending a smile to the ones still here, she made her way towards the portal. It'd been a rocky ride, but all in all she was glad she'd gotten to join the field trip - it had definitely been an experience to remember. But she'd be glad to get back to Halloween where everything wasn't so pink, that was for sure. Loot 1x: Candied rose petals. They come in a flower shaped box. (Effect: You smell like flowers for 24 hours. Oh, and flowers begin to bloom in your hair.)

Optional Mission Solo (619 words)West pressed his fingers to his temples as he rejoined what was left of their group. Hanging out in this place was starting to take its toll, but he was cautiously happy about what they had accomplished here. Nothing like some good ol' fashioned chaos to make an outing worthwhile.

Levi had been preoccupied by a few things while the dove battle occurred, but she joined the rest of her peers in time for their next move. They were going to do a bit of trick or treating of their own. Optional Mission (1000+ words) With a quick escape and the completion of her task, Levi rejoined the others, prepared to go home. As the students filed out, Desu-chan smiled, making her own way back. Giving each one a pat on the head she left them without a word. A few days later however some would find a box of goodies along with a certain pin... Quote: Thank you for your participation in the Valentines field trip!
RP Points are as follows:+1 RP point for responding each day at least once +2 RP points if your word total goes over 800 IC rewards as as follows:
Leo - Five Candied rose petals.
West - Five Warty coconut chocolate, Five Icy breath mints
Levi - Five Dark chocolate
Vaith- Three small, Chosen Love Chocolates. Vaith's have the strange ability to boost his natural abilities by one year, as well as making him attractive to any who see him for 24 IC hours. If taken in battle, this will lower his opponent's accuracy by 1 for the duration of the battle. He can only use the chocolates in battle once.
Aside from the loot listed above, each player that posted a in at least 3 of the prompts receives one of their own chosen love chocolate, which either will make them attractive to everyone for 24 hours, or, boost their natural ability by one year. These chocolates do NOT have a battle effect. They also will find with their chocolates: If you have any questions do not hesitate to PM/IM me to ask.
