" Y...you don't seem fine." His tone was rather haughty. It wasn't something she was used to hearing from him when directed at her. The fact that he was pulling away was also cause for concern, the ghost dog following behind the pixie daeva being sure to stay a couple of paces back. " S..Shun maybe," She let out a yelp when the reaper let out a cry of pain, her eyes going wide as she frantically searched for him after he dissipated. Spinning in place she looked in all direction in an almost dizzying pace. It seemed like a very long time before Shun appeared again and she headed toward him a shard and television suddenly blocking her path. As she drew closer the skelevision suddenly flickered to life and gave her a nasty shock. It was the fifth time that day she had been electricuted and she started twitching all over again as she made her way toward Shun. " S-S-Shun a-a-are you ok-k-kay?" A twinge of loneliness hit Vixi as she saw so many of the minipets paired up and keeping tabs on each other. Now that nothing was immediately trying to kill them, she briefly wondered how such different species were so familiar with each other. The scarefari must have been a harsh place indeed. Laying down, Vixi stared at the distant light on the top of a tower and the jagged towers. Utterly exhausted and unable to follow her thoughts anymore, she daydreamed of taking a nap in the sun, under that light in the soft grass of the Celestial plains. Harrison cat-smirked at the magic touch comment.
"Well. They don't call me Ace for nothing. We just got to be careful. And no, it's not ********> safe, you daft hairball. This is the least ******** safe place I've ever been. And that's including the desert."
He eyed another shard, this one hanging out next to some melty flowers.
His tail twitched.
"Got to get them all one way or another, right?" Before the kids or Horsemen did.
He padded up to this one more confidently. He hadn't been expecting anything from the flowers, but he should have. He never even reached the shard. The smell hit him hard, and he wobbled woozily as he heard a voice-
he made a dizzy circle.

Shun didn't quite look like he was completely there. It felt like something had been taken from him, but he couldn't think of what that was exactly. Was it the fragments? The keys? Something else entirely? When Mitsu came by him, he turned towards her. He wasn't looking at her as harshly, but he still seemed a bit off. For one thing, he normally would have been concerned to see her fur singed as it were, but he didn't show anything of the such. "I'm fine."That was all he said. If Mitsu could have frowned she would have but as it stood she could really only express with her sad eyes and flattened ears how she felt. She knew Shun wasn't fine but she wasn't sure what was wrong. " S..Shun. I-I-I," She stopped as she suddenly had a twitching fit from the shocks. Shaking a bit to regain herself she started again. " I don't think you're fine. Something is wrong." She shifted in place before trying to nuzzle against the pixie daeva again only enticing a light shock between the two in the process. Stumbling back with a yelp she had no idea where she was headed until it was too late. She backed up into a crystal and suddenly all she could hear was an ear splitting scream that struck her at her vary core. The ghost dog let out a shrill howl before it collapsed and dissipated only a second later. It seemed to take Mitsu a moment to reappear and when she did it seemed her fur was back in order but somehow she didn't feel quite right. It was like she had reformed but not entirely. Like something had swiped a piece of her during the process and she was left incomplete. For the time she appeared almost lost unsure what to do. Attempt 2
Jaaaack, nobody had any clues? Then again, body transplanting wasn't the most pleasant experience for those not used to it - Mort already had gone through it several times to achieve his appearance today.
Well, the not-rotten-bird version at any rate.
But he did notice this particular foxfire wasn't getting shocked (and in fact was rather aggressive about these little things), and thus when the nearest shard floated by Mort tried again to capture it. And once again he was given a shock for his efforts. Agghhhhh, was he seriously still a lightning rod even in minipet form?

The pixiepuff horseman took the time to glance around carefully. Strangest and even most frightening of all, were the oddly malformed minipets, the fragments of their bodies that literally floated through the atmosphere here.
Wait, was that a fragment, there?? ... One of the twisted forms seemed to be holding onto a shimmering chunk of familiar ore. Kiwi launched towards it-
His fur bristled as the minipet's eyes shot open, it's twisted, malformed body wrapping around him. Queen be damned, it was trying to spirit him away!!! The boil struggled to wriggle free, yelping suddenly as twisted teeth bit into his fur. Kiwi dug his claws in, swiping for the fragment as the thing squealed in an ear-splitting shriek.
At last, he managed to pull free, the fragment falling with him as the corrupted minipet released it's capture into the void.
The boil huffed, breathing hard as he squirreled the fragment away on his person. By Famine, Medea would answer well for sending them all into this minipet nightmare.

It was concerning her just why she felt so incomplete, but another fragment had made itself known, drawing her attention away from the loss. She tried to reach for it, but a shock was sent through her body making her jump back, and the shard dissapeared. When the third fragment appeared before her, she was wary to touch it, but as she moved closer the flowers surrounding it released a plume of gas. She coughed as she inhaled the gas, her head feeling dizzy again, before she stood still in sudden realization. She was on a quest. A important quest that had been given to her long ago, and only she was able to complete it. But what was it? A voice urged her to remember what it was, but for the life of her she couldn't. But she did recall something else... Hatred. Anger. A ally had betrayed her, had ignored her pleas for assistance and left. She began to growl with the emotions that filled her. her mind struggling to understand what was going on. Why had she been betrayed? Who was it whom had betrayed her? She saw Mitsu and Shun not far off, and her tail whipped in barely contained fury. It must of been them. They had betrayed her before, and she was sure they would do it again. Baring her teeth at the two, she turned her back, eyes scanning te area for more fragments. They called to her, becked her to find them. They would soothe her pain... Shun just looked away as she said he wasn't fine. Something was wrong. But it wasn't with him. Everything and everyone else was wrong. He didn't move anywhere as Mitsu dissipated and reformed, and instead just sort of laid down in his place, looking over his single fragment. The way it shined captivated him. It was his preciousss... the only thing that truly mattered now. "Tell me... where are the others? I need them all. All of them.." he whispered to it, as if it would reply. (Total Shards: 2)Mort. Mort. Mort. Nerp. Didn't ring a bell, though considering they were all minipets, he couldn't tell if he was just stuck looking undead or actually was. He decided to play it safe. "TG. First." He stated plainly, sniffing around for more shards and weak, misshapen minipets that could lure the shards closer.
It was then that he saw one shard just hovering among a patch of flowers, and bounding over like a happy puppy, he trampled through teh pansies. It was then that he stopped, the shard just out of reach, and ne noticed the pollen he had kicked up, giving a series of sneezes as he pawed his pollen-coated paw over his nose. "Ugh!" Allergies!!! FOREIGN ALLERGIES!!
After sneezing a few more times, it seemed the pollen had settled and he gave a few sniffles before he looked up, eyes going wide. He...he was supposed to be doing something important. Something he had been doing all this time. An important mission. A goal in life. His calling. What was it? Important. He had risked so much for it, and all those around him had turned their backs on him when he thought they were his allies in arms. They had left him, hurt him, and proved to be thieving, good-for-nothing friends. EX-friends. No one in all this time he had been here had been real true to him. Liars. Fakes. That's why he was stuck here. Alone. Just with his beloved fragments.
The boil. MOT! Oh, that two-timing minipet. He probably was here just to try and steal from him.

The VoidLumikki watched the sucker mini lay down, maybe if she inched closer she would be able to capture the fragment that was screaming to her from way over there...oh yes the pretties talked to her... Turning around to keep her eye on the foxfire she twitched her tail it looked vaguely familiar and an unnaturally urge to go investigate and possibly pet it seemed to try and override the thought of getting the fragment, slowly pulling her eyes away from the foxfire she went back to stalking the sucker mini. It took Mitsu a moment to realize that Shun was not with her. The sinking feeling that something was off wouldn't go away and she couldn't shake the fact that there was something wrong with Shun. It was like more than one thing was missing...her regular Shun was missing too. As she approached the pixie daeva again she let out a small whine before laying down next to him so that she could keep an eye on him in the mean time. LOCATION: The Void Zone
Thoughts finally trundled into motion again as Jordan stopped licking his ear to speak. Maybe it had just been a one off with Jordan getting killed by the shards. He'd been zapped and heard a bit of screaming, but beyond that there hadn't been any particularly fatal side effects.
As Harrison wandered over towards the shard, Rep looked someone critical, it was right there, why couldn't he reach it? Maybe it was like the knock backs on the giant treat, some sort of failsafe on the thing. He laughed airily. "Not quite as ******** easy man eh?"
The urge to one up him was back in force - enough to make Rep get up and determinedly prowl towards one of the nearby shards, intent on picking it up to bring it back and gloat.
"This is how you ******** do it." he stated with a very smug little smirk, picking the crystal up in his paw. Or at least motioning to. The moment he touched it however, agony of the highest order became all that mattered in the world.
He dissipated.

Shun saw the ghost dog walking back towards him. But he ignored her. He continued to listen to the fragment, awaiting to hear what secrets it had to tell. The Daeva-Reaper stroked the shard, whispering to it, calling to it. Where were its friends? They were all that mattered now.
