Bigsby absent-mindedly swatted at Malo as he flew away, not so concerned that his hand didn't connect with anything. He'd made his point. Bigsby was more concerned at this point that he was out of friends, Logan and Jace having already disappeared without a word to him at all. He reached down and grabbed the last of the four who'd had some of the pink potion, gripping him by the front of his coat and hauling him to his feet.

”C'mon, tiny. Time to go.” Bigsby said, giving the panting man a pat on the back before taking a swig of the bottle and grimacing before dropping it into the other's hands.

Viktor caught the bottle, but just barely, nearly fumbling it as the support of the brute's hand on his lapels suddenly disappeared. With little else to do now that all of his potential data-sources had disappeared, he too took a sip of the orange potion and was whisked away by the magical properties of the potion. The trip that followed, the moments of voice, were too much for Viktor, and he put them from his mind as imaginings.

On the other side, Viktor found himself merely shadowing the brutish one in the tiny hat; he seemed the safest bet.

Bigsby, on the other hand, drew some comfort from the voice that floated through the darkness of in-between places – – Like a pleasant dream of warmer, sunnier places. Probably the closest Bigsby would ever be to real peace.

So serene was he that Bigsby didn't lament the loss of his temporary adult-hood. Upon re-orienting himself to the environment he'd been deposited in, he approached Jace and opined, ”S'a shame we didn't get ta scrap back 'dere, though. Woulda liked to'ave seen whatch'yez made of when you're bigger.”

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairwell, with the vaguely-familiar sight of the Grand Tea-Party before him, Bigsby woke up a little from his daze. He pulled his coat a little tighter around himself, protection from the cold kicking off from the snow, and nudged at the man with the creamy white hair.

”Does this mean they's goin' at each other? Fer a scrap?” Bigsby asked, oblivious to the gravity of who exactly it was he was nudging at.

Skyler was already here, his fluffy tail wagging. When the other asked for a story, he hushed and looked away, not speaking. Instead, he clambered onto a chair. The floor is lava was one of his favourite games.

Malo, on the other hand, leaped at the chance to tell a story. He put his finger to his lip and thought for a moment, then floated up to where Alice was. "My Papa Preston used to tell me great stories about the Dormouse. " He began. "Tales of his ways are world-famous. I remember one book very well."

He landed on Alice's shoulder as he spoke. "It was a short time ago in Diamonds. There was a bandit simply known as the Dormouse. He was more swift and sly than any other in all the land. A known teapot thief, he could sneak into any tea time and make the pots simply vanish!" At this, Malo snapped, a lick of fire bursting into flames and vanishing.

"He could traverse the maze of Diamonds, almost control it at times, it seemed. He could dupe guards and escape down paths with dead ends. Quick as a whip and clever as a trained assassin, he has never been caught." He paused, and smiled, drifting.

"But you may think such a man to be a beast. You would be wrong. He was not a seedy thief, or a dangerous one. Proper, polite and efficent! He only drew his sword when it came to play sparring or in defence. Always well dressed and mannered, he only took teapots and left a beautiful rose in their place. He never even rustled the linen. Some say that he has a whole bed of teapots hidden somewhere in the maze."

He glanced sadly at the Dormouse. "I read that he was a strong, silent type...with a strong hand for playing the lute in the morning mists. He rarely spoke, but perhaps that comes with the trade of being a thief. Such a wonderful ghost-like being...its a shame he has become this."

He could see.

His heart hammered and he let out a loud cry of joy, Isaac's hands pumping into the air. Thank Arceus! He ran to who he assumed was Ryder, hugging him tightly.

"Thank you so much! You're Ryder right?" He didn't stay to hear the answer, to busy running about chanting that he could see. When he was tired he flopped down, watching as Zale observed the others with little interest. It was clear the Treecko wanted to hear that voice once more, his body numb and eyes wide. It was healing, the voice left his mind feeling safe and calm. Isaac enjoyed the voice, as well, however he relished the sound of other voices opposed to that one. He did not know who it belonged to, however one thing was pointed out to him.

Ask the Hare.

His eyes locked onto the March Hare, head tilting. Curiously, he questioned: "Where is the Hatter?" He didn't expect and answer, but he was curious. Folding his legs as he settled down, he observed Zale, who recoiled slightly and settled beside Alice, as if he was content. He wanted to be close to Malo, and to do so he needed to be close to the man the ghost was sitting on.

Alice looked down at the boy with blue hair who had nudged him, winking. He liked being asked questions, and he loved it even more when he got to provide information. There was almost nothing about Wonderland that Alice didn't know the answer to, even if he was being reticent with his information for some reason. "Hopefully not, Faust isn't one to start fights needlessly-- and this guy's sick, not dangerous," Alice advised the infant.

To the ghostly infant, Alice's eyes flicked over as he thought about the story. "Hmm. Strong, you say?" Alice grinned, showing his teeth, but didn't comment on anything else. Stories were stories for a reason; they exaggerated, because who wanted to hear a story about someone mediocre?

Faust heard a small voice, and looked down at the vaporeon infant, though he was clearly distracted by the Dormouse who had begun trying to usher the infants to stand on top of the tables like he was, knocking all sorts of expensive dishware aside; spilling tea, sugar and cream everywhere."Pardon, what was that? Hatter?" Faust looked concerned, suddenly. "How did you know to ask that?" his eyes clouded over. "The Hatter is in Spades. He locked himself away... somewhere," Faust shook his head, ears perking faintly before one of them tumbled back into its sleepy position. "If you'll excuse me, I need to get something from the Dormouse..."

Faust's stride was long, slow, purposeful. He caught up to the Dormouse fairly quickly, who had a white-haired growlithe infant suspended mid-air by the vest. The infant had his arms crossed over his chest and his tail was flicking back and forth in irritation. Logan was not the picture of happiness at that moment. He was silently sulking, at least.

"Mouse, set the infant down. Where did you put them?"
"Where did I put what?" the Dormouse asked, tilting his head back and forth rapidly, like his neck was broken and his head kept flopping around.
"The pills, Mouse. I know that you have more of them. Alice saw you pop one," Faust replied, gesturing back to Alice, who was standing with the infants, as if he was their guardian.

Alice reached down and offered to lift the green treecko infant up onto his shoulders for a better view, as the infant had settled near him earlier and seemed fairly quiet. "This is juicy, kids. Be Wonderland's eyes and ears! What we see now is something no one else can know," he told them, his face lit up like Clubs at night; Alice clearly found information and knowledge extremely attractive.

Faust had, at this point, found himself in the middle of an altercation with Dormouse. Faust didn't particularly enjoy fighting, unlike Hatter, or even Ex during one of his manic drug-induced states of happiness (or aggression, they often looked the same with Ex). "They're bad for you, Mouse. Do you know who made them?"

"Ex made them!" he replied, beaming, pouring scalding tea down his own leg, having relinquished Logan. Logan ran away to stand next to Jace and Ryder, clearly sulking he'd been grabbed by Dormouse and held like a stuffed toy.

"No, he didn't. Ecstacy had nothing to do with the pills. Hatter made them, and he has shut himself away, Mouse. Do you know what that means?"

The Dormouse's face fell. He clearly did know what that meant, somewhere inside himself. He wasn't so far gone that he couldn't comprehend. The problem was that now that he'd figured that out, he seemed to go into a fit, instead of calming down. The Dormouse screamed with wordless rage, and took a bag of blue pills from inside of his jacket, trying to pop another into his mouth. Faust grabbed hold of his wrist and tried to stop him, but he slipped free. "Antidote time!" Alice called out to Faust, who nodded and grabbed a syringe from inside his coat. Somewhere. That coat was quite fitted, it seemed highly unlikely Faust could produce it from anywhere.

"I fear I must ask a favour of you, children. If you see him try to pop a pill, knock it out of his hand. I must administer the antidote. He belongs in Diamonds with us, but not if we cannot cure him early enough," Faust implored, busy trying to catch a very nimble and slightly scalded Dormouse.

"At least we noticed in time. Not everyone is so lucky," Alice let slip. Purposefully. He tried to put on his most innocent face, but Faust still stared at him: there was his strength, an unyielding frostiness edged his typically tranquil personality. Alice shrugged and offered a half-assed grin.

Faust needs your help! Each infant gets one attack. Roll teen mechanics, as marked by your battle card. You get one attack each, then Dormouse and Faust will get their turns. Alice is currently holding an infant, so he'll be sitting the game out. Infants will be attacking the Dormouse, each attack will chip away at his stamina instead of health so that he can't pop the blue pills. The Dormouse is ELECTRIC, so accord elemental damage in regards to that!

[[ 1} Roll 2D8; add the total. That is the base damage dealt.
2} Check your battlecard for elemental weaknesses/strengths and edit the damage as indicated.

Tiny, irate Logan was all too happy to toss discarded, broken bits of the once-fine Diamonds china at the Dormouse the first time it looked like the man was going to pop one of those weird, little blue pills.

After making his attempt, he looked for Ryder and Jace, as well as Bigsby, and he even glanced over at Isaac in passing to see how they fared. Before returning to Jace's side. And watching the fight unfold.

Faust looked kind of silly chasing after the Dormouse, as he went slowly and thoughtfully, as if trying to predict where the insane mouse would run next rather than ungracefully dart after him every which way.

Malo looked up to see the Dormouse...it seemed having some kind of fit, gallovanting around and trying to do stuff. It wasn't that Malo disliked him. He thought he was funny! But he had been asked to do something and it sounded like fun.

So, loading up a little Hex attack, Malo whipped it from his hand, beaming brightly at the hit.

"Because I do." Isaac responded to Faust. It was clear that he didn't like giving away his secrets, tail flipping side to side playfully. Suddenly, the Dormouse decided to act even more eccentric, yellow eyes following the man and listening when the older men ordered the boys.

Isaac turned to view Zale, watching as the boy allowed Alice to lift him. The boy seemed obviously content where he was, arms happily toying with Alice's hair quietly. It seemed he wouldn't be fighting for now. Perhaps later, if the Dormouse got close enough to Alice for him to battle.

"Come on baby, let's burn." For a water-type to say that was slightly silly, but Isaac was never known for being serious. The Dormouse was about to pop a pill into his mouth, sending a smirk onto Isaac's face.

"Nu-uh!" Grabbing the nearest object, a fork, he tossed it right at the Dormouse, grinning wide.

Skyler on the other hand was having a lot of fun playing 'the floor is made of lava'. He followed the Dormouse around, jumping as the plates were a bit destroyed all around him.

At one point, a cup went flying past his head and he panicked, running headlong into the Dormouse's leg and falling to his rump. O^O

Bigsby smiled up at the one called Alice, the one with the sacred name.

”A needless fight is da best KIND o'fight!” Bigsby exclaimed, already pushing up his sleeves in preparation. Because he knew what was coming next, he could feel a scrap coming on like a stormcloud. The Dormouse, the crazed one that had at one point been there guide, held Logan in his hands, and that was all Bigsby needed, that and the March Hare uttering the phrase 'help.'

Bigsby was off like a shot, sprinting past all the other infants who'd already attacked, sprinting with all the force his tiny legs would provide. Oh, to be bigger again, to be able to cover more ground! With a whoop, Bigsby launched himself off the ground, delivering a solid fist to the Dormouse's wrist. He couldn't eat pills if he couldn't use his hand, right?

Upon landing, his contribution added, he trotted back to Logan and Jace, grinning wide.

Briar wasn't sure of what to do. He watched Isaac thoroughly enjoying this in hopes to stop the Dormouse following by everyone else. He didn't want to hurt him. It wasn't in his nature to do so but sometimes it has to happen if it means to save the very . . . eccentric man, sadly. A small thought came in mind when he saw Bigsby charging at him in full speed and was able to hit his wrist and he ran up to be behind the Dormouse's legs and curled up to a tight ball and made him trip over the grass type. "Ow!" Briar called out in pain but now the Dormouse lost his balance and hopefully his grip on the pills while the blonde ran back to the group, rubbing his side to ease the pain a bit.

Zale watched Briar, Malo, and Isaac, frowning. His friends were fighting, he should, too. He needed to help. Looking at Alice, patting him.

"I'll be back." It was clear the boy felt safest near Alice, leaping away and approaching the Dormouse. Fumbling about, he located a sponge... and did very little damage as he tossed it violently. ....Failure. Hush. Head tilting backwards, he pulled himself back towards Alice, deciding to be held once more. He was safe here at least.

Kennard hadn’t been paying much attention (as usual). He had been busy ignoring everyone and clambering up onto the table in search of some food. His belly was unfortunately still empty and he began searching through the tea pots, trying to find a morsel to eat. It was as he was sitting there that he realized something odd was happening.

The toddler realized slowly, that everyone was trying to take down the Doormouse and he dropped down from the table. Well now, he could lend a hand at that. He was in the perfect position, as the Doormouse went bounding past, to stick out his axe and either trip the adult or at least cause a stumbling distraction.

Alice silently allowed Zale to play with his hair-- not like it was ever styled, anyhow, and the kid appeared to have relatively non-sticky hands. He grinned wickedly at Isaac when the kid refused to tell Faust where he got his info. A kid after his own heart. He let Zale down to fight, then scooped him back up again as soon as the kid came back. Alice was totally content to watch the exchange without doing anything.

Faust managed to grab the pills from the Dormouse. "Good job, I appreciate your help," Faust said, clearing his throat and bending over the fallen Dormouse to inject him with the antidote.

Perhaps it was the contents of the antidote, or the pain of the needle, but it sent the Dormouse into a screaming, blind rage. At which point he rose to his feet and barelled towards the children.

"Stop him before he can get to you! He's almost out!"

Faust was only half-correct; he was almost out, but he was also whipped into a fury. Dormouse sent a shockwave towards the infants who had damaged him, doing 7 damage to Malo and Zale. Normally, no one would ever dare attack the infants... but something seemed to be very off about Wonderland, and the Dormouse's insanity permitted him to attack. Bigsby had just opened his mouth to begin speaking when a screech came from behind. Bigsby had heard the Dormouse hit the ground hard, so at first, he didn't even think to turn around and inspect what had made the awful noise. Then the March Hare spoke again, and Bigsby turned around once more, a habit that was beginning to make the phanpy dizzy.

”Right, I'm gettin' about tired of'yez, you great screechin' git,” Bigsby said, not quite aware that the Dormouse wouldn't hear him. It was more to get his blood running hot again. Bigsby removed his hat, handed it off to Logan, levelled his head, and bull-charged once more.

This time, though, as Bigsby drew close... the very ground beneath his feet began to rumble under his feet, and he drew strength from the ground as he bulldozed into the Dormouse. He delivered a solid punch, but the energy it drew from him made him stumble backwards, slightly dizzy.

Zale thought he was safe with Alice. Thought. Suddenly, he was in pain, head snapping back and mouth opening into a cry. It was unexpected, rough, and harsh. Yellow eyes snapped open, locking onto what had hurt him. His body stiffened after the pain subsided, eyes locking onto the Dormouse.

Why? Why had he been attacked? Of course, because he decided to follow his friends. But he was supposed to be safe with Alice....

Then he saw Malo get hurt.

Scowling, he gripped a plate shard, tossing it violently at the Dormouse. A snarl escaped his lips, about to leap for his attackers when Isaac held him back.
