Hissss~ She tried to catch herself as soon as she felt another loss in the ground underneath her but it was all in vein. Levi ended up in another hole, scraping to get out. When She did, she listened to move away from the water. Water = more holes? Maybe.
Uh... she'd seen this thing before...right? The same form from earlier. Apparently it was still difficult to get around even if one was lit well. The tatzel wondered how shun was doing.

Feeling the ground with a long snake served Shun well - before he'd even taken his first step, he smacked something hard and angry with the snake. It did not attack.. as long as Shun kept his distance.

Levi furrowed her brow at this friend. This critter was in the dark obviously looking for trouble in some sneaky way. So she attacked it with a slash of her claws.

This snake was serving him very well. Shun knew a creature was ahead of him, so he went on to try going elsewhere. Again, he used the snake to try and feel what was ahead of himself

As the little pup went flying off into the darkness, it decided then and there never to try and make friends with lost students ever again. And to think, it was going to tell her the way out.

At Shun's final step, he, too, found a friend.
This one did not seem as friendly.
Bears weren't the most helpful of creatures.

.. Was that a jacking bear? Shun was not wanting to waste time tusseling with a bear. Thankfully, bears were bigger targets. He whipped at it once, then followed up with a knee to what he thought was its face.

Once that critter was out of the way, Levi followed her feet. Feeling for any changes, the tatzel kept moving.

Levi didn't have to move far.
"Oh. Hello! You don't look too worse for wear. I suppose I made that too easy for you, did I?" Noland's voice was coming from somewhere in the forest - the forest! Levi could see the forest again! But she couldn't see Noland, or Shun.. and she certainly couldn't see anything behind her. Best to stay away from where she'd come from.
"But where is your friend? Did he not make it? Or perhaps.. aha! He didn't stick with you, did he? Figures, the black ranger always works alone. If he had just stuck with you, the smart one with the light, you'd both be out here by now! That's just too bad. Oh well!"
Behind Levi came a rumbling sound. The earth shook, and dust rose up from the ground. It only lasted a few minutes.. but when it was done, Levi could see what was behind herself again.
A giant wall.
"Can't let him get out the same way as you now, can he? Oh don't worry.. there's more than one way out of there!"
"... Two, in fact!"
Shun was now alone in the darkness.

Shun felt a rumble in the ground. What the ******** was that? Instinctively he turned, but that really didn't do him a whole lot of good. Shaking his head, he closed his eye and worked hard to listen to his surroundings once more.
