Wilson- Looking at Ami, he felt a bit guilt. He was her senior, trainee or not. "Er, sorry sir, never mind. Ami, can I speak with you for a second?" It had only slightly bother him on the mission but-
If you say nothing you risk the future. Better now while it's not life or death.

Loosing a sigh, Kat brushed her hair from her face and turned to face Ami with a slight shrug. "Eh, its fine." Not like she knew what was going to happen in the mission, and she also had to go through it as well. She didn't blame her one bit for this.

Nodding at her request, she made her way towards Wilson, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "Come on, Wilson. You really expect us to believe that? Besides. You might have to get your a** checked out for bruises by the medical staff." She snickered. "You know, from all that groping that happened."

Pushing him along, she paused a moment, and looked back to Mark one last time. "Oh, and you--" she pointed to the brown haired boy. "--I still have your key card as well. Ta, ta~"

Ami didn't like the way Marcus was looking at her. Hnggg. What was something else she could look at? Allan. No he had that weird pubes ball in his hand and reminded her about the transfer she still hadn't made a decision on. Wilson? Nope made her sad. Kat. Kat was a nice, neutral target. Oh look how cute her little stars were.

She stepped off to the side with Marcus, and politely said, "Ah ... yes?" Her eyes were still following Kat and Wilson to make sure he didn't stumble or something. Mostly Kat though. Stars were just really great right now, okay?

Leading Ami away from Allan and the other he gave her a look. A look of disappointment. "Ami, while I am still a trainee, I am also still senior and well-" A quick glance over to Wilson, who was still going to refuse help. "As a moon hunter, you shouldn't have run off like that." Not to mention that she shouldn't have let Wilson get that beat up. Granted it was a bit his own fault for failing to catch up to them.

"You ran off, leaving Kat, Wilson and myself alone. Both of them ran off after you before I could get to them. Ami, as moon hunter, it's our job to make sure other hunters remain safe. We don't up and run if we can help it. And while this mission was not life or death-" shoulders slumped. He felt bad for chiding Ami, but he had to do it. It was a hard lesson he had to learn as well at one point. "It mimiced very real situations. My concern is that if this was a true mission, one where our lives are indeed on the line, would you still run forward? When I got there Wilson was in need of medical attention Ami, we could have avoided that had we been defending him. I mean Ami... You're not a bad defender, I know that. I've seen it first hand. But the fact remains you ran off, and it concerns me."

Even if he was still annoyed with toilet paper, Marcus still managed to give Ami a sad smile. "I know you're trying to get better, but just keep that in mind alright?"

Ami saw his point. She really did. It was perfectly acceptable, his argument. She did a shitty job as a moon and she knew it. That was why she kept cringing when she saw Wilson. It was her fault. Each of those bruises was a way she'd messed up.

That didn't mean Marcus' lecture didn't irk her. "I was following directions!" Ami said stubbornly. The defense was weak, but she was too pigheaded to admit she'd ******** up yet. "Allan said get to the cart, so I was-"

She sighed. There was no way she could back this argument up. "Look. I know I'm not a good moon, you don't have to try so hard," she said harshly. "Don't lie to me Marcus."

"So you left your team behind. Last time I checked, that was more the style of a certain death hunter. And mot certainly, not a moon hunter. There is no point in following orders if one of your team ends up hurt Ami. There is no point if worse, your team ends up dead." A little thick but the point was there.

A finger came up and flicked her in the forehead. "Also I don't lie often Ami, and when I do it's fairly obvious. You're not a bad moon, you're not that bad at defending. But you're doing some of the same stuff I did, which is why I am telling you what you're doing wrong. So I have to ask, why are you so adamant that you're a bad moon?"

Something registered across her face as Marcus flicked her, but the look quickly passed. Hold her expression. Neutrality.

"You wouldn't understand," she said vaguely. It was a cliche saying, but for once she actually felt it. Marcus was hopelessly devoted to Moon. He didn't have hesitation about defending people. He was selfless and iconic.

Ami still had trouble even relying on people, let alone protecting them. It wasn't the same. He wouldn't get it.

She desummoned Junpei, placing the pin in her pocket instead of in her hair like usual. "Please Marcus ... just ... don't pry," she said. Lately it felt like she was too exposed. It was unguarded. Opening herself up to other was the hardest thing to do for Ami- trusting others was even farther down on the scale. This ... lecture he was giving her. Critiquing her, trying to improve her. She knew Marcus had good intentions and only wanted what was best for her. Knowing that Marcus was just trying to protect her in a simple senior-junior way ...

She hated it.

"You say I wouldn't understand and then tell me not to pry. Ami-" Sighing he rubbed his temple. This was just a mess. "Alright. I won't pry but I will tell you this. Go talk to Miss Carr or a senior moon hunter. I won't push you Ami, but I'll worry, both about you and missions. Just go talk to her alright?"

Ami sighed. "Okay. I'll find her." She wouldn't. "I'm sorry for snapping." She wasn't.

A light smile crossed her face. Fake. "Thanks for helping on the mission, really. You were great." Truth. "And I'll try to do better in the future." Lie.

The smile widened. Genuine. "Give Cass a hug from me for letting me borrow you."

He didn't know it was a lie, and his smile was clear as always. "Don't worry okay? We all make mistakes, that's just part of why we're trainees and nit hunters you know." looking back to Allan, "all the same, I'm going to book out. I actually need to go report for sub duty."

Ami continued to smile as Marcus walked away. As soon as he was out of her line of vision, it dropped. Sorry Marcus, it just wasn't something she could do. She couldn't take this game anymore.

She'd made a decision.

"Allan, sir?" she asked politely, waiting for the two men to stop talking. "I'd like to transfer to Life, like I said before. As soon as possible, please. I'm sure now." Her eyes were cold, decided.

"You gotta be-" Mark gave Allan an incredulous look at the trainee commentary - "What did you tell them?" He scoffed, noted Kat approaching closer, and quickly backed away a few more steps, projector and all away from the spawn of the devil. The Death Hunter made a holy cross blessing over his chest just to you know, make sure. Or was it supposed to be over his heart? Well, better safe than sorry. "If you mean that gem that they've been trying to work on for ages, no thanks to err... I mean, that-" air quotes - "movie, since when has the last time anything Hollywood made actually been considered realistic, I mean really. At the most they'll shrug it off as a bad budget film, in fact, we're trying not to draw too much err you know, publicity by causing any unnecessary harm, just let 'em go with the hand of God or whatever good riddance and the worst part is-" A sad sniffle -" They don't even have me in the movie."

Mark made a sort of sad face as he shuffled away. Was it his looks? Was it because he was too good looking? Well, he had tried for rugged, just like Tony Stark from Avengers, but clearly effeminate or badly scarred men was the way to go. Sigh. Sigh. Maybe he should dramatically get some scars and another sex change. Sigh.

Allan totally mistook Mark's sad sniffles for enthusiasm, shrugged, and gestured for Marcus, Wilson, and Ami to come over, stooping over a bit to appear friendly as he address Ami first. "Your nakama is right you know, even if you are transferring divisions, you must always remember that everyone here is your family. A team can only succeed when they are there for each other, no matter what division or where they are from. You can count on them when you are in trouble, and work through the worst times. Together." There might have been more words like kokoro and nakama and inner strength laced in the speech just in case Ami did not get the point.

"Well," the Sun lead winked, "We know better for next time now, don't we? Let's all work together and genki!" Allan fondly ruffled the Moon-turned-Life trainee's hair and then eagerly handed out one box of Hi-Chew (the full box) to each trainee. "All right then, that wraps up our mission and I'll get Simon to do the important paperwork things. Oh yeah- you should call come to the training fields so we can watch One Piece together!"

Wait they were installing it where?
