At certain points of his back even pressing fingers a bit more strongly to test depth and whether or not the skin still had any give to it anymore, "I've yet to le-let it get past that though."
She frowned thoughtfully, "Is this r-really what being a sun is all about? Pushing beyond that until your b-body starts breaking around you? Even with a fear shield?"

"Those ones specifically are when a Sun tries to do a Moon's job, ahahaha.." he laughed weakly, keeping his head bowed and trying to not cringe at every curious touch.

Rin's touch fell back to less exploring and more... very lightly grazing as if every contour were braille and she was attempting to read him, "I see. S-so this might be my future too?"
It was a grim concept, one that she'd be lying if it didn't make her feel concerned. She was more worried about dying for certain though, even if what he implied was that he was nothing more than an animated corpse, "Can you still feel anything?"

"A little pressure. It's um. My turtle shell, ahaha. But um, if you're careful you should be alright. H-how.. how long have you been awake now?" He rocked gently, but that only upset his stomach further, "I... I'll need a fresh jumpsuit." He was getting cold.

"Your shell is very unique." she sounded oddly fond before moving on to answer his question, "I-I've been awake for... hmm... good question. Several months now. Four i-if I'm not mistaken."
It was around then she started to notice him shifting a bit, "St-starting to remember the pain too, huh?"
She smiled but there was no joy or humor in it, "I was only trying t-to help that y-you know."

"I'm j-just... cold." He murmured, rubbing an arm, flushed. "Numb. Um. P-people don't usually... I mean... C-candace knows how I got them... I don't think anyone's really asked about... them." It was odd, was all. Hopefully she would remain lucky and smart. "You're too p-pretty for scars. K-keep guard of yourself."

Rin frowned and attempted to rub his arm in vague effort to warm him. But she knew of a better way and he had already rejected her once.
Still, she couldn't help the small genuine smile that forced its way onto her face alongside a very light blush, "You f-flatter me and I q-quite frankly don't uh-understand why."

"I guess I'm j-just-" He hesitated as his phone vibrated and beeped beside him. He dove for the device, and instantly regretted it, hissing as his insides churned and pain shot up from his knee. "T-text!" He wheezed, carefully gathering himself up again to straighten his glasses and read intently. Sasha Text to Jerry:am okay. tired. explain later. He nearly dropped the phone as the relief washed over him.

Rin jumped about a foot as Jerry flew past her to check his phone. She couldn't tell if the news was good bad. What - WHAT?! She zipped after him, her expression had her eyes quite huge, "J-Jerry what? Is is S-Sasha? What is it?! Jerry!"
She was about to swipe his phone off the floor if he didn't answer fast enough.

"I... I don't know, she didn't say, she just said she was tired, should I go... go wait for her at the entrance? She could be hurt," He was already easing himself to his feet, before struggling to pull his undershirt back on. "I... if she's t-tired, I don't want to... to tax her..." He fumbled with the awkward act of bending over to scoop up his jacket and phone, pulling it on as well before stuffing the other in his pocket.
He grabbed the guitar by the neck and was already limping to the door.

Rin was hot on his heels and nearly shuffling him forcefully out the door with her body if he hobbled too slowly.
She did however add one more thing, "J-Jerry, could we... talk again l-later about this?" what she may have meant seemed rather cryptic and uncertain.

He pursed his lips, concentrating on the ground and keeping his balance as he limped, "Y-yeah um. We... we p-probably um. Should. Um. But... please.. um. Don't say anything to Sasha about this?" It was relieving, knowing that that was the immediate problem.
He felt silly, in retrospect, over reacting.
They were all on edge and half of them were feeling ill from those damn headbands.

Rin nodded, "Wouldn't d-dare." she gave him a faintly stern look as if she expected the same out of him.
They must have looked ridiculous hobbling rapidly down the halls towards their goal but it went without saying that neither one likely gave a ******** one single ********>
