"Are they gonna wear off soon, bark?" Jordan grimaced, noticing a faint pre-echo of a headache that promised to be horrifying, now that he wasn't busy fighting. He moved over to offer Harrison a shoulder to lean on. "Let's get downstairs; you could really use a couple of bandaids, bark."
He raised a hand to Ami as she wandered off. "Thanks for the backup, bark," he called after her.

Marcus' comment stung. It really did.
Rep wasn't about to give him the satisfaction of letting him know that.
"Fine then, I ******** will."
He de-summoned Tracey with a flourish, and with everything about his posture stiff and irritable, stalked off to cool off.

Harrison leaned against Jordan. He was kind of sticky.
"It's just scratches, pyon." Harrison grumbled, rubbing his face. "They itch, pyon. Boosting the shield again's the main thing, pyon."
He looked at the small crew.
"Thanks for coming, pyon. You too, Marcus. Ami. AND YOU, DUMBASS, ~PYON!" he shouted after Rep.
Harrison actually did appreciate not being dead.
