Clarification:
If any amount of hybrid blood makes them count as a hybrid, what of characters who had the hybrid generations back (IE, Nuawahn)? If this is so, and their cert only claims them as one race, are they still 'hybrids'?
Yes. You specifically asked for diluted blood of another race to change their appearance, so it counts as a hybrid. If you would like Nuawahn's cert to reflect that, we can fix it for you.

How does adoption work in the land of Tendaji?
There's usually a house mother that looks after the children, and parents will come by and offer/ask to take one of the children. She will have to ask them questions, screen them as people and feel out their fit as a parent, and then they're off, hopefully for the better.
Can solos count towards youngling growth Requirements?
No. RP only, RPs and solos are not interchangeable and never have been.

Say two characters owned by different players breed, and two babies are produced, but one of the owners has their hands full with characters. Could they decide to put the baby in a shop event so that a different player than the two can play the child? With the other parent's player's permission, of course.
Answer
No. There is no option to make an event for a bred baby.
The options that would be available to the parents is to either opt for one baby, wait until both owners feel they can handle each having a kid, or privately messaging Suhuba with the specific name of an owner who would be willing to take the baby.

Questions on the Fire Earthlings!
How would they view and react to a Tendaji person who comes to them wanting to get to know them? Asks questions, that sort of thing.
It really depends on the owner of the fire earthling and what personality they give their character. But if you're speaking in NPC terms like for a journal, then it would more than likely be hard to get them to talk. They would view the rest of Tendaji as pretty much below them, since they ultimately want to enslave them.
Will Tendaji people be able to go to their land someday?
As of the end of Chapter 6, Oba is open for RP!
Would they be willing to teach an ice member fire magics? (I may or may not have Myrsky go that path if it is available... )
More than likely they would not, but any earthling could teach fire magic. It is not specifically limited to the type of earthling.
Which areas of tendaji are controlled by them?
After the war: Just Oba.
Are any of them coming in boats? And can I have Ray attack said boats? (pirates! Please let me have him become a pirate!!!)
There are none coming by boat. They're sticking to ground attacks. Their land connects to the rest of Tendaji enough that attacking by boat would just take more time than going through the land.

If I do a beast battle against five different beast in one roleplay does it count as five different beast battles or just one since it is all in the same thread?
Answer
Each 250 required words counts as one beast battle. So if you choose to fight five it would still only count as four since the word count goes down to 200 at five beasts. (6 in one thread would also still count as 4 since it would only be 2200 and not 2250 words, so it becomes harder to get beast tamer reqs with more beasts in one battle)
Also note that extra words per beast does not mean extra reqs.

Is it possible to gain acceptance amid the Obans by helping a wounded warrior of theirs?
Say that my Myrsky finds a Fire nation warrior who's badly wounded after a retaliation strike by alkidikes (or something) and helps him. Would this change how they view Myrsky?
I'm trying to find a way to make it so Mrsky becomes a firm supporter of theirs. If they look down on him like they will f he just joins up I don't think Myr will stick around.

It would be possible to be tolerated by that Oban and maybe some of his closer friends/group if he were to heal one, but he would not be accepted by all Obans. It would be a small group that would see him as not really an equal, but someone who is willing to help out the cause in the name of their King.

Is wearing the pelt of an animal on your head an acceptable thing to do in Tendaji, specifically Jauhar? (Such as in the old reference for Yaholo, like a headdress. This is more a question about Kennet, for the future)
Are characters allowed to wear things similar to Saris or Togas? Or just blankets draped and tied around them? If so, would it be acceptable for a man to wear such things? Google search for Saris
I want Viveka to experiment with crystals, and eventually gemstones, as his new medium of choice. Are either possible?
If so, can Viveka be a sculptor and a jeweler? (Makes statues and carvings, as well as jewelry of all sorts)
Are there mines or places you would find crystal and other precious stones? If so, where would certain things be found?
If a character uses up their breeding spaces, but wants to help someone else by being a surrogate/donor, would that be allowed? (The owner offering the donor/surrogate would not be getting a child from the breeding)
Would it be possible for a couple to adopt a child that closely resembles them through a quest or through breeding? (There would be no actual breeding, but a slot would be used, sort of thing)
Finally, how would the Alkidikes view a hybrid with dreads, but different colored hair? (Sort of a future breeding question)Answer
Wearing an animal headdress is not possible in Tendaji. The animals are either too large, or frowned upon.
Yes, characters are allowed to wear toga/sari inspired clothing. A few of our characters already do.
It is possible to use crystals (gemstones don't mean anything to Tendaji, since it's all just different colored crystals to them).
Viveka has already started down the path of sculptor, he will not be able to be both.
Crystals can be mined from the forests of Jauhar where they grow naturally on the ground and in the trees, as well as in the mountains of Sauti and Xena to the north.
Since they would not be receiving a baby, there's no issues with using a surrogate who has reached their own breeding limit. (The surrogate's owner cannot receive a child. It's a naughty loophole to breeding that way.)
It is possible, we've recently opened up the Baby Adopting thread in the breeding forum with more information about how to quest for a child.
The same as they would view any hybrid. They will not like them and will not accept them. They may tolerate them if they are female and largely resemble the Alkidike.

Since Dyakida has an occupation, would it be appropriate for me to write solos (likely a bunch of short ones) where she crafts weapons for existing PCs? (Of course, I would contact the player and plot it out with them. I just want to make sure its allowed.)
What limitations would I have on this? As in, how much of this can/cannot be carried over into that character's art, what sort of things can be done/not done, etc.

Dyakida will be allowed to write solos about crafting weapons, but as with all solos, they cannot be smaller than 300 words in order to count as a part of a req.
This will not be carried over into character art, since custom weapons are not allowed until stage 4.

And I have a somewhat... difficult to word question that I want to make sure of. So I'm not going to try to word it pretty.
Are trans/androgynous/nongenderbinary characters recognized or allowed as playable characters on tendaji?

This kind of question is so much more than just are they allowed. We're not trying to discourage any kind of freedom with characters, but personally as the owner of this shop, I feel, like with all other things a character could possibly be (gay, straight, hybrid, etc), it should be a part of who they are and something they might have to deal with on a daily basis and not just something to tag onto a character. But this particular question never needed to be asked in the first place.

If one of my characters captures an animal and gives it away to someone else, it uses up one of my character's familiar slots, right? Does it use up one of the other character's, as well?
Answer
No. The character that tames the animal is the one that uses up a slot. This is just how many you can tame, anyone can own as many familiars as they like.

Do Oban's have any sort of accent or speak any differently than other earthlings?
Are there any differences of speech between any of the earthlings?

Well, I think it would be reasonable to assume that the Obans would have a different accent since they've been cut off from the other half of Tendaji all this time, but generally speaking they all speak the same language.
The Alkidike on the other hand have three languages: the common language of Tendaji (that everyone speaks), the language of the trees (the Alkidike's native language), and the language of the ancestors (known only to the mystics born into Tendaji).

If an RP reaches 10 posts, but is still ongoing, can it be used for growth purposes? Or does it need to be finished before it can be used?
Answer
We prefer that all RPs are wrapped up before submitting for a growth request, but there is no strict rule saying they need to be completed. We just like them to be wrapped up, but will not really deny someone from growing if they have reached the required posts but are waiting on the other person (for example) to wrap things up.
