Amrita watched the Heir walk in, wanting so badly to go up to her and ask beg for her to open the Library for them. That book. She really, really wanted that book...but at the same time, the Heir was scary, and despite all the personal growths she had suffered, going up to an Heir was still a little too crazy for her. Invictus had been hard enough, but this one seemed a little scarier. Even if she was an Undead.
"I think we should..." The ghoul trailed off, hearing a familiar voice in the distance. Mort. Mort was smart, Mort had some experiences...Mort might be able to help. "Um...Can I borrow that? I think I can get someone to add to it." Before she even had an answer, she snatched up the paper, took the pen, gave the boils a 'one moment' gesture and scurried across the room on a b-line to Mort, her poor Zomboil friend. The moment she was close enough, she tapped him on the arm; sure she felt bad for interrupting, but at the same time she felt this was pretty important, too.
"Hey Mort! Fancy meeting you here! See, um, I need your help." She poked his arm with the now folded up paper this time, the pen tucked nicely into the crease. That was when she noticed the group standing around him, and decided to not be totally rude. "And uh, Hi Mort's friends! I'm Amrita, nice to meet you." She waved her backwards fingers at the group as if she hadn't passed something sneakily off to the Zomboil.

Mort started a bit at the tapping, though he quickly broke into a smile at the sight of the vetala. "Ah, Amrita! Is good seeing," he greeted, giving the ghoul a quick hug before the paper was spotted. Blinking, he snatched it and opened, pushing his glasses up to view the contents better. This . . . aaah, he should have been compiling a list like this! "Wanting add list, yes? Can do," the zomboil said in a chipper tone as he slid the pen out and clicked it open, kneeling to scribble his notes on the floor. And boy did Mort take care to read over the list a few times, making sure he'd read everything correctly before handing it back in. "What is looking for specifically?" he couldn't help but ask. "Can keep in contact if need; if zombies know anything, is that four brains better than three!" And they were clearly onto something, which his new investigative brain wanted to lap up every fact of.
Though he got distracted by a second peal of ringing in his ears. Seriously, what was up with that?!(( If not clear by now, Mort be investigating yo ))

"You too! You're looking well." Well, as well as a Zombie; but she knew that very well herself. "Yes, please. I thought...if there was anyone else who could add to it, it'd be you." She watched him kneel and start to scribble his own notes on the piece of paper. It was hard for her to read from so far away, but she was super happy that he had enough to add, or that he even took the time for it.
"Well...we're not sure. Answers, I guess? Or reasons...we're just looking for anything we can to make this make sense." She murmured, taking the paper from him when he gave it back, giving it a quick read-over. "...With a kiss, huh?" Amrita giggled, shaking her head. The many lessons from Lizzy came flooding back; that one shouldn't kiss someone they weren't dating, and everything similar...but they were pushed aside, because it was too confusing and frankly, she had more things to worry about. "Congrats, buddy!" She twisted the pen between her fingers, and then held it out as if she could write with it, making a vague gesture to his arm.
"I'd love to keep in touch, want my---" Wait. Wait. WAIT. Why write her number on his arm when she had a phone? When he likely had one with him, too?! Wow, Amrita. Wow. "...O-or, if you have your phone...?"

Kettil gave the new ghoul he never met til Mort met him a smile, "Hi Mort's other friend," he said in response to the ghoul with the backwards hands and feet but said nothing else because it felt like they were busy with something. With that Kettil started to drift looking at things thoughtfully. Observing statues and then noting a door he hadn't seen before til' and hearing voices. He decided to have himself a look just to see what was happening.
Endzela peered over at the Reaper's head, "Shouldn't you wait for the others to come with?"
...He gave a pause. That might be a good idea but...Things.

"Yesss," Mort replied about the kiss, still quite proud of an accomplishment over a week past. SO WORTH IT. Even if it had been on the forehead.
And then he almost had to go and 8| at her because did you just ask the tech lover if he had his phone on him. But because Mort had swag, he merely whipped said phone out off is pocket with a grin as his response. "Go 'head n' text. Will want updates and will give updates, 'cuz something fishy. No-one like Horsemen give delay without reason," he told her, giving Amrita his number before turning to his group and calling, "Oy! Amrita's group is smart, if have any info want to be giving, now is good time!"Rabid Ice Weasel Lonely quote is lonely D8

Rikki let out a relieved sigh. So he wasn't just crazy. Didn't made the ringing any less annoying, but at least he wasn't just hearing things. Then he'd probably have to talk to the councilor, and he didn't want that.
Danny looked a little freaked as she looked around, and then she disappeared. Wait. What. He peered down the hallway that she'd disappeared down and his heart stuttered. There was that feeling. That weird, old, so old, pull of fear. His body ached in memory. But Danny had run off, and there was no way he was going to let her dive into what he deemed to be a dangerous situation without him, so he chased after her, calling her name.
"Danny!"

Kettil stood still turning toward where he left Mort and the others furrowing his brow, "What kind of information?"

Rafe waved nervously at the newest face, scurrying quickly to get back into the center of the hubbub -- quite terrified of being left behind. He was right there with Kettil. This whole experience was like one great big question mark over his head. How could you even begin to find words for that sort of thing?

Once he'd gotten Edel's text, Moure had started his way over to the temple. It was vastly more populated than it normally would've been, he assumed. So many students. He wasn't searching for a crowd, though. He was looking for one person in particular, one halo of blue hair to serve as a beacon to finding her. He spotted it after a few moments, headed in the direction of what looked to be a doorway. His expression brightened, and he pulled out his phone to quickly text her.Zyphiris Text to Edel: Hey, I just spotted you. I'll be over in a second. As soon as he sent the text, he headed in her direction, spotting Roch's purple head nearby as well. His speed was a benefit to him in this situation, for he reached them not too long after spotting them. When he was within some speaking range he called out, enthusiastic but not very loud. (He was in a temple, after all.) "Edel! Roch!" The ground rung out under his feet, and he recalled the many tunnels underground before returning his attention back to those he was calling out to.
Go figure Moure had just unknowingly invited himself into an investigation about something that was probably very important.( Moure is accidently investigating.)Ice Queen (Just quoting you here since I quoted Zyph up there. ^^; )

It's okay Mort, Amrita deserved that look.
"I will." She promised, adding his number into her phone and sending a quick text so he had hers. Her attention turned to the Reaper with the dreadlocks and the Monster that looked a little scared, eyeing them both for a moment. She had never met them before, and neither of them were pulling any memories of even seeing them in passing. At first she was hesitant to informing the Reaper who had actually asked her about it, but he did seem to be Mort's friend, and she trusted Mort, so...
"Err, well, you know...anything." Grey eyes flittered towards the Heir, and then she scooted closer to the Reaper to talk low and still be heard. "You know, like...Hunters, or anything suspicious you heard or saw here." She took a step back after that, staring up at him as though she wasn't sure if she should have bothered mentioning it to him. The Patchwork's eyes fell on the little rat monster, hoping he was close enough to hear.
"And um...try to keep this quiet though. Please?" She informed Mort and his group, holding onto the paper but willing to pass it off if she had to. "If you have anything you want to mention to me now that's fine, but after...either text Mort or myself, kay?"

Alex let himself be pulled around some more, stopping when Yin stopped and frowning, reaching up with his free hand and rubbing at his forehead. That stupid sound was getting to him, and was really just adding to the headache of the too-many-things going on in his head. "I...I don't know, Yin. I have no idea what that noise is.." He grimaced, having a quick look around at all of the students roaming around the room. He recognized most of them, and many looked just as confused as he was feeling. "Hey look, Taryn's here now too! Maybe we should go over and say hi? Maybe she brought some candied brains with her.." He smiled down at Yin, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. He really was quite hungry.

Yin nodded. If Miss Taryn was there, and there was a chance of food...at the thought his eyes sought out Rafe. Food. "Perhaps. It would do us no harm to say hello."Obviously at this point holding hands with Alexander was just ensuring that they would not get separated or lost. Obviously. As they passed by a table he noticed a book, not that he wanted to read it, not even the cover. But it appeared to have a bump in it and moving the pages he found a small stone which he tucked away before making his way over to the leader of their old team. "Greetings Miss Taryn. How do you fare?"((+1 Horsemen point + Investigating)) Rabid Ice Weasel Have a quote so you are forced to acknowledge me

Kettil didn't move as the ghoul scooted closer to him and talked in a lower tone his expression falling neutral for a couple of seconds. Hunters it had been a while since he had heard that word - especially since his arrival here. Hunters had hurt Lark - at least as so much anyone could hurt her at this point. His expression went momentarily dark and he gave a bit of a nod.
"I doubt there is anything new I could tell ya since I only enrolled fresh some months ago but...I'll keep an eye out, alright?" He spoke in the same low tone simply because she had done it first but it made more sense when the ghoul had urged secrecy from him and others for the first time since the trip began Kettil was being somber and serious.

Taryn startled slightly when Yin appeared out of nowhere. She had been so busy waiting for an answer, she hadn't even noticed the couple amidst the crowd. The look that Yin was giving little Rafe, though... she hovered a bit closer to the rat boil, just in case.
"I'm doing well, Yin, thank you. How about yourself? Do you have any idea what's going on here? I got a text, but..." All she knew was that she heard voices, and that was almost never a good sign.

"That's okay." You'll learn things soon enough, she added mentally, all the while giving a little smile. She wrote something in the corner of the paper she held, ripping it off and handing it to Kettil; it was her skelephone number, since she had already tucked her phone away. "In case you learn something, kay?" Her attention drifted back towards the pair she had left in the dust, who were starting to look a little antsy. "I gotta go, I'll see you later! Be careful~" She nodded to the Reaper, a glance to the Rat boil, a smile to Mort and then she turned around and trotted back to Calder and Aymet, the paper and pen safe in her possession.
"Okay! Where to now?" She left it up to them, passing the paper to whoever wanted it first.
