((Entering + investigating)) Following silently behind her reaper Mitsu walked down the familiar walkways keeping pace with the brisk walk. Even in the short time here the buildings were somewhat familiar....except for the door they were suddenly approaching. She saw Xiu move toward it to investigate and hurried along feeling the odd sensation she had back on Famine. " I...don't remember this being here before." Mitsu said softly as they entered moving a little faster when they saw the Baku up ahead. The note to stay on guard was heeded. Mitsu's ears were high and alert for any type of noise. Though Xiu's statement held a bit of interest. Mitsu had not seen anything similar on her trip to Conquest. " Glyph?"

[ENTERING & INVESTIGATING] Arynek left something in the temple, so she had to return. When she ascended the stairs, she heard noises. It was a bit unusual for noise in this place. This temple is sacred and quiet, at least not talking noises.
Since the clans had warned them not to interrupt during their conference , she found a corner and hided herself, observing what happened.
There were strange cloaked figures, carrying something large and dashing in a line. It seemed that they are matching the thing they carried with the strange glowing tiles on the floor?
After their disappearance, she walked out from the corner and found a door on the wall? There were a set of downstairs following immediately.
She came closer to the door and felt a strange and old Fear from inside...........Even more, she could hear talking noise coming out behind the door......

Wylfenne re-emerged from the shadows where they were both hiding from people and trying to study them before they actually find up a way of how to talk to so many people. One-on-one was being hard enough, but with so many people around they felt lost. Only the unmoving presence of Invinctus was reaffirming.
then again, that curious noise they heard before, coming as if from nowhere..... the fae looked around, but everything seemed to be normal, probably, a bit too normal for Wylfenne's liking.

Shun looked less pleased when he heard Xiu's answer. So his suspicions were correct then. But what was more concerning was that there apparently were others here before them. And that Invictus was displeased with it for that matter. There were a lot of students around here right now which was concerning in its own right. "There was one like it on War," he murmured before glancing towards Mitsu, "Remember that area I mentioned about the room that was trying to draw me in? It's like that. This place is dangerous so don't let your guard down."He let out a sigh before peering ahead towards where Invi was. Taking in a breath, he started to make his way towards the heir so he wouldn't have to talk as loudly. "Oi. Invictus. Can you give us a little insight of what is going on here any why anyone would be down here in the first place?"

Somewhere deep in their mind the fae felt that the time for talking about beauty and flowers and mastery of Conquest architecture was over. The old feeling of being watched over, and of something dark to happen, that was lulled by the flower Lacie gave them, and the whole atmosphere of grace and calm as surrounding the Heir, came back. It was evident now that the air was charged with waiting for something to happen - probably that was the reason why initially the Heir came into the temple in rather a sulken mood. Besides, there was that room.... the room Wylfenne actually never mentioned to anyone, ashamed and frightened of their experience. Now the same air of ancient horror was crawling around, and the fae decided to make a quick tour. This noise was haunting her - but despite their suspicions, they couldn't find anything to prove it. They stared helplessly at their companions - Aurien, Lacie, the reaper boil - have they ever been properly introduced? Shun, isn't it? - all the new people who came into the temple, and then rested their gaze with Invictus. Aren't the people around feeling this tense longing for something to happen? [investigating]

She nodded at Mitsu, and was about to expand a little on the topic of the glyph when Shun's words caught her off guard. "W-wait! There was...there was one on the Isle of War too? A strange glowing glyph that made you feel weak and nauseous?" She looked troubled, the frown on her face deepening even further. Just what were those things for?
"I wonder...--ah? Aniki!" Xiu blinked in surprise as the reaper headed down to where Invictus was. She started after him, but not before taking Mitsu's hand in hers. She took a few steps down the stairs and then paused suddenly, turning to look at her friend.
"I, ah...you're...are you coming with us?" She realized (a little belatedly) that she might have been dragging the ghoul down into something dangerous against her own will. Her grip on Mitsu's hand loosened slightly, her pink eyes both hesitant and questioning--she wasn't going to pull her friend down the stairs with her if she didn't want to go

He was the master commander
At least Invictus sort of felt that way with all sorts of people following after him as he descended down into the chamber. A chamber that as it was, nobody should have been in it. This read on his face plainly even as he looked back towards a familiar voice piping up -
When had all these people shown up? Well, he knew when, it was simply striking to see how many people he seemed to have following him for some reason. Oh right, curiosity. Amityville students always had that curiosity that lead them into destruction and other forms of chaos, but...
he was the one leading, so he was jut as guilty.
"The reason why someone would be down here is that they shouldn't be down here." he answered. Which was why he had to come down and investigate why there was someone down there that shouldn't have been.

[Entering and investigating!] Poke hadn't been to the temple of nine dragons, and so paused as the others entered it, admiring the building and the serenity it provided. She saw the horsemen kneeling in front of a wooden statue, obviously designed after someone important. She didn't have time though to stand around, and quickly hurried after her friends until she saw them in front of a half opened door. Upon drawing closer she froze. She could feel the FEAR coming out of it, that familiar energy that had overwhelmed her and nearly finished her off "Wait!" She called out to Mitsu and Shun, but they had already entered it. Swearing under her breath, she entered as well, seeing a few other were already here. Including Xiu, and someone else too; another horsemen no doubt. Cautiously she edged down after them, expecting to feel the FEAR overwhelm her at any moment. Overhearing Shun as he spoke to Mitsu, she realized that he had been in the exact same room she was in. But he was right, they should let their guard down. Still Poke was unsure weather 'not letting your guard down' would be enough to prevent them from being sucked in.

[Entering & Investigating]
"Oh where, oh where has my little Xiu gone. Oh whereee oh where could she beeeee?" Lou cried softly, the back of his hand touching his forehead as if he were about to swoon. Of course he wasn't, but if some ghoul happened to notice how 'distressed' he was, perhaps he could give up the ghost and venture off with them into the dorms.
Still, all of this was worth a try. What better things did he have to do? Thanks to the leader of the four clans, jack s**t.
As he walked with suitcase in hand, the boil took deep whiffs of the air, as if trying to claim a scent strand of perfume or the sweet, sugary soul of the demoness he currently sought.
But... What was that?
What was that noise?
It really shouldn't have caught his attention, but for some reason it very well did.
Lou stopped, his smile fading only for a few seconds as his brow furrowed. "I hate this place more and more every day..." The boil mumbled quietly. He should really go. Lover, not a fighter, remember?
But...
Oh, what the Hell. It wasn't going to be any safer anywhere else on this Jack damn island. And who knew? Maybe it was some damsel in distress ready to properly thank the first boil who saved her.
No, even Lou realized that probably wasn't going to happen. Not here. Not now.
The sound of designer shoes striding across the ground began to get closer and closer towards the stairs, only peeking in at first.
Wait... Was that?
"Oh, would you look at that? We have got to stop running into each other like this." The boil spoke loudly and waved towards Xiu. And she even had her little wolf friend with her, too. How cute.

"So they make you...weak," Mitsu frowned now worried but when Shun began to move and Xiu took her hand Mitsu obediently followed the crowd. She only paused when Xiu looked back, tilting her head in confusion.
"Yes, I will be coming with you." When Xiu loosened her grip Mitsu gave her hand a squeeze instead to reassure her. "I want to stay with you and Shun."
They finally came to Invictus and the news the horseman had wasn't really informative...as usual.

"And you know we should be turning back Invictus. Or is this room different from the one at War?" Her purple eyes flared in the dimness of the stairway moving into the room.
"The last time I went into this room it nearly ripped me apart from the very core. Is that going to happen again? Let alone why would you all have something like that."
Screw it. Invictus could kill her now, or she could die when she got to the bottom of these steps. Either way she wanted to know why. Why would the horsemen have a device that could consume the FEAR of Halloween?

"Che," Shun breathed out at Invictus's rather vague answer. He supposed he shouldn't have expected anything further than that. Yes they were not supposed to be here. He knew that much. "I hope you realize how bad this looks right about now. Considering the glyphs in these rooms seem to be made for absorbing fear, even if it means us. Any further insight given would be useful," he said while shooting the Heir a glance. The Reaper soon paused though as he heard a familiar voice behind mixed in with Xiu and Mitsu. Cue the deathglare towards a certain vampire. The b*****d better keep his hands off of the girls. Or he might be tempted to throw him into the glyph himself.

"No. I will not turn back." Invictus's voice was firm. "You chose to follow me. I never told anybody to follow me down here. It is your own curiosity that has brought you down here. Not me." He looked to Sammy with the same look her always had on his face. No matter how much being home had 'loosened' his facial muscles, he had steeled them again.
"As it stands, you should not follow anyways, so it would be in your best interest to turn away from this."
He glanced towards Shun, then away, saying nothing to defend any ideas he may have been getting. "Think what you will, then. That is your right and nothing I say now will change what you may think of it."

Chase time! soft footsteps began to patter as he stalked behind Invi and Xiu. It was in the hounds nature to lurk behind those he was chasing, even if it wasn't prey to eat. Not long after did he notice the other scents that lingered along the trail, the familiar scent of Shun and Mitsu, and the scent of another he did not know. it was amazing how many of them went looking for trouble, himself included. Time and time again, it was curiosity and the thrill of adventure that got them into precarious situations. Somehow, he bet that if this did hit the fan, the chance at another cultural exchange was going to be slim. Still, it didn't stop him from lightly tugging at the baku's tail once he got into range and wag a finger at her. "Xiu, what in jack's blazes are you doing? levi is going to be pissed at you for looking for trouble." he scolded as harshly as he could, the swirling tones of emerald and mossy eye color that meant damien was in control. "Well, she will be proud that you went looking for adventure, but she'll still be mad if you got hurt!" only after the light scolding did he fell the redness rise to his cheeks and eyes darted away to stare at a loose stone in the wall curiously. "I'll be upset if you got hurt." yep, that stone in the wall was totally interesting. it was only after that did he give the other students a light nod in greeting. way to make an entrance demi.

Well, they had their leader, hadn't they? The fae decided to follow the Heir whatever happened. Those of lesser status should stack after those who have weight, and then just be of use. (Wylfenne might be not eager to accept they were somewhere down in the stack, but still under these circumstances would definitely prefer to follow someone who at least knows what the hell is going on). So they quietly went after the Heir, even though the air sent shivers down their spine with bad - really bad - memories. They glanced around to see whether their companions of chance were following.
