Samril had indeed dozed off, the exhaustion too much for him to resist while being still and horizontal. He woke with a start as Elleth called to him. He rubbed at his eyes, slowly sitting up. Oh how stiff he was!!! Groaning, he stood and stumbled his way to the stream to wash his face and get a drink.
"Oh that was not a long enough nap!" Samril declared before yawning. He gave a bit of a shake of his head, glancing over at Elleth. "You okay? That looks nasty..."
Having drank and washed his face, Samril slowly stretched, wincing as sore muscles protested the movement.

"I'll live. I don't think I lost too much blood and look, it's already starting to scab over." Elleth said, pointing to the now gooey looking scab. Standing she shook the excess water from her arms and ended up looking more like a giant black and white bird flapping its wings as her ripped robe sleeves slid back down.
Giggling Elleth made her way over to the dragons bones and scooped up the dragon souls, returning to Samril to give him his. "Mister Samril, congratulations for killing a dragon." She said, trying to sound solemn and regal.

Well, that was good. It'd be terrible if his new friend died!!
Samril took another drink as Elleth went to fetch the orbs, then made his way out of the stream (though the water felt so good on his feet!) to where she was returning. He took his orb and, grinning, stuck out his other hand. "And congratulations to you, Lady Elleth, on striking the final blow to kill the beast!" He managed to stay composed for a few moments before bursting into giggles.
"Maybe I'll run into you again sometime."

Elleth couldn't help but dissolve into giggles as Samril mimicked her and gingerly took his hand, shaking it with the most gentle of movements. Her hands hurt far too much for a real handshake so it would have to do.
"You bet! We'll both be stronger by then and I'll get another match out of you." She said, letting his hand go as she turned to start limping home. Pausing she turned to look over her shoulder, "Don't you dare die before then you hear me! Or I swear I'll find a way to bring you back from the dead!" She called out, shaking at fist at him before turning around to resume her trek. She had a shorter walk but was also sporting more injuries then her horned friend.

Samril grinned as he made Elleth giggle. He liked making his friends laugh. It was good! He watched her head off, starting to turn and head off on his own when she called back. He laughed. "Deal!"
Gathering his energy together, Samril headed off in the opposite direction towards his own home.
