Harrison's knuckles whitened in a death grip on Marcus's coat. Go? Go, yeah, go, he needed to sit down, Marcus was okay for now, and warm, but he really needed...needed a chair or something...

Clarice. That was Clarice...and s**t.

"I'm sorry, I'm real sorry," he said brokenly, "I should have gotten it."

Dakota was yelling and Marcus was half tempted to tell him to shut the hell up. But it wasn't his place. Molly and Ryan had the right idea and he made note to thank them later. Dakota was- he didn't want to see him hurt. Or worse.

Worse.

Dead.

The idea that they could die just- no. No, that wouldn't happen. It couldn't right? They were just clean up. Just... disposable. So disposable yet people kept dying for them. Over and over. They couldn't stop them. They couldn't tell them no. All they could do watch watch, helpless and they were saved while other died.

Keeping Harrison upright, Marcus gave Clarice a sad smile as she addressed the shaking moon hunter hanging on him. "We couldn't Harrison." The words came out angrier than he meant them. "We couldn't-" he voice cracked, anger lost, "we couldn't do s**t."

There were times when Clarice just did all the right things. Like pick up Harrison and take him where he needed to go. Worried, he followed the pair of them, having little other desire to leave the other moon trainee after what had just happened.

Before had acted purely on instinct once it became clear that the portal had opened. Again, all questions and musings of whether or not the trainees should have been brought at all were pushed back and squirreled away for the unlikely event they all survive this. He was... numb, emotionally and physically. He didn't quite shut down the way he had during the Haunted House but it was close. Now that the imminent danger had passed, his movement reverted to mechanical as he showed the medics he was alright and good to go.

Teal eyes darted through the tent, wondering where his Bros were and if Tori was alright. He lingered out of the way just long enough to look for them.

By all means of logic and survivability, Justin shouldn't have made it. Reine, Saya, and Candace taking turns to snap him out had only sounded distant, a loud roar replacing their voices. Even the final moments, the chaos was a relief, it was easy to close his eyes and remember how easy it was to lose himself in the game-

- When a strong hand had grabbed the trainee and forcefully moved him. For the Mist trainee, it meant it was not his time, quite yet, to fully log out.

For Hunters waiting on others, it was a strong signal that Allan and perhaps Simon were still alive and could take care of themselves, for the time being. Like Justin, like the rest of the trainees, it was not their time, not quite yet, even despite how fickle and volatile an element time really was to Hunters. Age didn't matter, neither did experience: there was nothing that could make anyone anticipate when it simply stopped.

The trainees hurt and Justin was no exception. The world continue to swirl through dialated pupils as the Mist trainee simply slumped over to one side. At this angle it simply looked like he needed to rest for just a second, a second longer.

Close his eyes and all the colours would go away.

The portal was still open, and it was possible that there were still others out there - but Madison and Ennea needed to rest, and they'd worry if Jordan stayed behind. He cast a worried look after Clarice as she departed, carrying Harrison. This was why it sucked sometimes to care about people, he remembered wearily. Sometimes, you just couldn't ******** do anything.

He glanced again at the portal, then turned away, pulling his hood up, and trudged after Madison and Ennea.

((Entering))

Coming back into the portal area, it was the sight of a male Misty that caused a wide, relieved smile to break out on Molly’s face. “Before!” She called out, her pace quickening until she was right on the young man and threw her arms around him, immensely relieved. “I’m so glad to see you! How badly are you injured? Do you need to go to the infirmary? Bix is there! He wanted me to look out for you!” She pulled back a bit, but still had her hands on his shoulders.

“He’s doing okay though. You should go see him! O…only if you, but I think he’ll be very relieved to see that you’re okay. I know I am.”

“Um, he was really worn down, but he’s getting tended to and rest now!” Molly paused before nodding her head. “Yes, of course!” Hopefully seeing Before in a rather timely matter would help Bix out.

Molly nodded and released the Misty, waiting a moment before she led the way back to the infirmary.
