Blowing in it again was apparently not the right idea, as a spark lit the fallen sloth on fire. It fell from its trunk again and landed in the gnome's sodden fire pit, successfully extinguishing itself.

He was on strike. He crossed his arms and glowered at his terrarium as the fire spread, resolutely refusing to do *anything* until Ktur gave him some instructions that were worth a damn.

...a little-- OH ******** IT ALL THE GNOMES WERE BACK. Taryn facepalmed rather gloriously, and when she turned back... oh, Jack! The sloth had reared up and begun swinging its arms wildly, looking more like a gorilla than a proper sloth. It proceeded to chase away the gnomes, disappearing into the bushes to the sound of their little tiny screams.

Yeah, um... yeah, alright. There was a rustling in the bushes, but Taryn couldn't be sure what it was.

It took everything in Rafael's power not to take a swing at Ktur when he came over and did....nothing. The instructor's enthusiasm must be covering for a complete and utter lack of knowledge about anything. Ohhhhh Rafe just wanted to punch him. Or bite him. Or maybe both.
For good measure, he aimed a kick at the terrarium.
that also did nothing.

"I've just seen the one animal..." Taryn shrugged, tilting her head and not taking her eyes from the terrarium. The sloth emerged from the bushes, apparently satisfied, and began to climb its tree. It reached the foliage in a matter of long minutes and curled into a little sloth-ball around a branch, drifting into a peaceful sloth sleep.
...she didn't dare disturb it.
