Zar very much recognised the demon ghoul from the beach. After all, not many ghouls ever actually ventured to speak to him, let alone term him worth remembering.
He gave her a fleeting wave back and a razor toothed smile.

Home.
There was something about the idea of going home for an extended stay that made him almost tremble with delight. Almost. How he managed to not suddenly degrade into glee was probably a function of being raised to be that way. That was all.
Still, he hadn't taken a seat, instead standing and looking over the group that was assembled. Those who would now get to see his homeland, giving them an almost curious look over, but saying nothing, arms folded behind his back. He was dressed much nicer than he usually was. Presented much more formally. It was a good occasion for him, after all.
Home.
Invictus, Heir to the Clan of Conquest, would get to spend more than a meeting with his father home. A place where his heart truly laid.

Sheridan was sitting with his arms crossed and eyes narrowed, a decidedly unthrilled expression on his face, his tail twitching to reflect his mood. Already he was questioning why he had signed up for this. Why, when he distrusted the horsemen, (no, he may have crossed to active hatred) even less than he did the Ammityville professors. And after the events of the trials, who could blame him? He did not like this, he did not want to be here, he did not want to be anywhere near the horsemen. And yet here he was, why was he here? Right, because he did not trust the horsemen, because maybe if they knew just what they were up to, just where they stood, maybe they'd have a chance in whatever the jack was going on in this world. But more important were his friends, the friends who had also signed up for this...whatever it was (he didn't care enough for a proper name), and he could not bear the thought of letting them go alone. Speaking of friends, he looked around, searching for any sign of two in particular. Should he send them text messages? Hmm...he wondered if Tro had signed up...

"Mort makes a good point," Herryk groused, his attention caught by small boil that looked a little lost. Elbowing Mort, Herryk jerked his head forward before gesturing that the rat-like boil come closer. "Greetings, friend," Herryk rumbled sociably. "You are an exchange student?"

While she spent a solid few seconds staring straight into Fallow’s eyes, she took another few to take in his appearance. He didn’t look like a demon, and he definitely didn’t look like a ghost or undead. A monster? He moved toward Dev, causing her to only tighten her lips into an even deeper frown, but she refused to budge from her seat. She only glanced at the arm behind the rabbit’s chair before refocusing on the Puca. Her canine teeth gleamed as she revealed them again, ears flattening as the boil spoke once more. What a frustratingly-high sound. Could he tone it down a bit?
Normally she would have leaned back, but Dev let Fallow enter her personal bubble until they were nose to nose. She only narrowed her eyes in return. “It’s there fur a reason, ye know,” she pointed out, but let out a startled cry as he leaned forward even more. His words threw her for a loop. What? “Hello. Yer okay? Ah suppose?” Quirking a curious eyebrow, she pressed her forehead to his. “Ahm Dev, ye?”

Blade Kuroda Text to Jericho: But I can't help worrying about you! I'll learn some cool stuff and come show you when I come back, though. I dunno if I'd get frowned at for taking pictures with my phone while I'm there...or if my phone will even work while I'm there, but I'll try to get you pictures and stuff too!

Buh? Friend? Rafael's head whipped around so fast that his neck popped, and his gaze met with....someone's navel. Gulp. Craning his head back, he stared up, and up, and blinked at the large undead standing before him. "Oh, uh, hi. Yes. I am. I guess. I mean, I think." He stammered, feeling a sudden thrill of oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t it's going to eat me running through him. Prey instincts run deep within a rat, no matter who that rat is.

"I'm FINE," he lied, perhaps a bit loudly. Somehow in his sudden bout of concern for his sister he forgot she was a pretty ghoul. And devilish. And scheming. And unbearable. Why had he even worried? --- "OH I CAN-"Oh. "Well. Ummm." Cady tapped her chin thoughtfully. "I dunno, is Christof going? What about Demi and Bea? I bet they are all wonderful with minipets you know."

"Ah like your shape." Nuru remarked eyeing Zar over quickly before looking forward again.
"Still. Ahll miss not having it as an option. It's so much more comfortable sleeping in fur." He confessed with a soft frown.
"Oh well, this'll still be so much fun!" He flopped his tail wildly against the back of his chair.

Siddie sat quietly in her seat, one leg tucked up under herself, chewing on her thumbnail. She was afraid. She wasn't missing this chance, no. She'd put too much of her pride and intention into the idea of the exchange; but the trials had been terrifying. She wasn't running away from what scared her any more, she'd decided that. But it was still really, really scary. She fished her eyePhone out of her dress. A little company would really, really help. Sitting neatly in her chair, Evelyn-Aglaya listened intently to the announcement being given. She was thoroughly pleased and equally excited to be going on this adventure. Oh how proud her parents would be~ Thus, she absorbed every word that spilled out of the announcers voice, not really paying all that much attention to others around her, even if her moths were...

Huh, looked like Amity wasn't the only one invited to this event, which was . . . Mort didn't know how to feel about it, but he felt as though their school should have gotten exclusive rights, considering what their students had done to get to this point. But the little guy seemed to nervous, he really couldn't put forth the effort to be anything less than polite - all the darker portions of his persona had pretty much been battled down to nothing anyway. "Hai hai," he greeted, noting that this student was rather mousey in appearance, and not in the best set of clothes. "What c-classes sign for? N' what school come from?"

Caving to the few moments of inspection, Fallow tried to tame his ears into standing straight and erect on his head, glowing a vibrant neon blue-green beneath the murky palette of black. His lips curved open to reveal a shark-like grin, and though he wasn't anything like those Kelpie fools with their insatiable need to consume meat all the time, he did so love to have his own hunger sated once in awhile. Sated by -- ah -- living things that was. After all, school was wretchedly boring apart from all of the strange little inhabitants in it, right?
"Reasons mean nothing to me," He sing-songed quaintly. There was nothing mocking in his tone; this was simply how he was. Whatever disinterested him, and whatever got in his way of having fun was eradicated from his mind, leaving skewed morals and a brain full of sawdust in its unfortunate wake. "Anyways, how dangerous can touch be?" The Púca smiled, his ears folding nearly onto his raven hair in an attempt to get closer to the girl. "Hello. Good - ahhh - good day." He mimicked a third time for the pleasure of it. "Of course I'm okay -- lovely even, even if this place isn't." His tail twitched and flicked from side to side, swinging as if to bat away an invisible fly. "Dev. Devvv. I like it, hmm." He rumbled and huffed, bumping noses with her again.
"Heehee. I am Fallow. It is a pleasure, yes." Nosing her again, Fallow smiled. "Do you think this will be - ah - fun?"

Oh hey! Another text! Shehk perked up to look around for Siddie when she texted asking if she was there, turning on her knees to look for the shadow ghoul, but trying to not look too...distracting with her. Siddie, Siddie, Siddie, Siddie, Siddie.... you are..somewhere. Siddddiieeeeeee. Aha!
Siddie!
Shehk turned back in her seat, looking at her phone still.Prolixity Text to Siddie: I'm here! Third row from the front, a few seats in. This is both exciting and ominous at the same time! I can barely contain it!

Quietly he moved to have a seat and it happened to be near a ghoul he'd never met before still cradling his Owl as if she was the most precious and vulnerable thing in the whole universe. Mostly cause it gave his hands something to do other than sending Lark three thousand messages about how many people were there and does he really have to behave? I mean seriously. So many chances for mischief.
He glanced over at the figure he found himself near, "Oh, Hey, I hope no one was supposed to sit right next to you," he said in a spurt of this thing called a conscience.
