He almost reached for his mildly lopsided ring to try and hide it from the ghoul's curiosity, but he managed to stop himself. Instead he sat back on his stone seat, giving her a clear view of the jewelry he was making for... no one. "Maybe," he replied with a shrug. "Prob'ly jus' throw it off the edge a' the island as I'm headin' t'War." There. That had been an awesomely vague reply with no tatzely implications at all. He nodded at Mitsu, adding, "Some ring," before he seemed to change his mind. West grabbed his in-progress bauble and started jabbing at it with the pliers again. He hadn't failed to notice the little ladyfight going down between Hel and that loud vampire from before, but it wasn't as entertaining as it could have been until the reaper pulled out the bird. Her gesture received a snort of amusement as the boil continued prodding his ring.

"Thank you!" Aurian sat up straighter at the compliment. "And thanks for helping. I haven't really tried anything art-y so far, so I'm... not confident." At all. Morrigan agreed that Aurian should try sketching some ideas. Nodding at her new friend, Aurian then spent several minutes sketching on the back of the instructions for making a brooch. She tried several different patterns. She experimented with the thickness of lines, with different shapes - one or two of the sketches even involved heart designs, up and reversed, clearly Morrigan's armlet had put ideas in Aurian's head. "What do you think?" she asked, holding out the sheet of paper. "When the lines look thick, I'd either braid the wires or wrap them around a central piece several times. I'm kinda partial to the top one or the middle two... How about you, Morrigan?"

Hmm, ok, this wire here... and then bring this coil around like so, add another little twist, and done! Imryn rubbed her eyes and set down the tool while taking a moment to look at her handywork. It wasn't the best thing ever, but she was quite proud of it and you could even tell that is was a little pumpkin with a few little vines coiled around the top. This was the first time that she'd actually say down and made anything that might be used, it felt good to work on something and see the progress. Imryn sighed a little and for the first time since she'd come into the class, took a look around to see who else had come in. A lot of them she remembered from orientation, others from when she'd been hanging around the dorm while looking for a room. Then she caught sight of Tess and Adiyan together and couldn't help but grin at the little wing wave. Hoping that was meant for her, Imryn scooped up her things and floated on over towards the other two. "Hey guys... Oooo, those look great! I wonder what kind of gems they'll let us use in these... or if we'll get to keep them." she said excitedly, the necklace cradled in her claws. Usually... she was no where this animated or excited about things. But damn it, she'd made something and seemed to be making a few new friends that didn't make her want to run and hide. It was a good day so far.

Lumi mentally smacked herself for not realising that fact about shifting in to natural form. She remembered something about that in the orientation. "Oh that's what these pins are for..."She looked down at her pin, neatly placed upon her chest, "I'm sure your natural form is beautiful...I mean...that is..suits you...uh"Lumi started to blush without realising why. So when the boil she was sitting next to held up his finished project she smiled and welcomed the distraction. "Oh how lovely! You did a great job on the necklace."Smiling at him it never even occurred to her to ask him if he was planning on keeping it. Even though it did look a little ghoulish. Toying with her fox bead she glanced at Jullian out of the corner of her eye hoping he didn't really catch her slip up.

Inu-Mitsu " M....Mitsu," The lycan corrected softly... "Gesundheit," Sabine pulled a hankie out of her cleavage and handed to the Lycan.

Hel did a double take, and looked at both of her hands. She then scowled, and was grasping for a come back, until Sabine pulled a hanky out from her between her cleavage. Bingo! “ Do not take that, Mitsu.” Hel warned. “ It might have mold.” Hel looked back over at West. “ Eh, I do not think you should get rid of it. If you do not want it, I think you should at least give it to someone. A memento of your time here, ya?” Hel had a thought of who she could give this ring she was making to…but…that uh…would probably just freak him out, thus it would probably stay hers. Sigh.

As tempting as it was to jump into some of the conversations, Thackery succumbed to the pressure of ensuring that he didn't upset the clan lady. He'd heard her laugh at one of the students that he didn't recognize, though he missed the exchange, which didn't really help his worry of oh Jack gonna ruin everything and they'll kick me off the awesome island. So he worked diligently to put the finishing touches on his piece, coiling the left over wire around each side to make it a little more durable. to He hadn't really followed the pattern laid out by the little slip of paper that came in the pouch, but it was a necklace, so...that was what mattered, right?

"Julian, it's nice to meet you, Endzela." It felt a little weird to be talking just to the familiar instead of the reaper as well, but the boil in front of him didn't seem to mind that his owl was engaging herself in conversation with another student, so he sort of wrote it off for the moment. "You're not disturbing me, I'm actually finished with my piece." He held up his own piece so that the owl could see, actually in part similar to the reaper's, though at the moment it was just the circle, he had left some wire to the side so that he could make a sort of setting for the jewel, rather than having to reshape one."Yeah, they're to keep us in a more manageable state at school," he explained, his feathers ruffling and his own blush lightening his cheeks just a little when she made assumptions about his natural form. Almost a subconscious action by now, his hand moved to rub the back of his neck.
"You haven't m-met my brother, he's the p-pretty one, I'm just kinda p-plain." Oh great, the stutter was back. Granted, the little ghost of the family stood out more than Bran, his elder by four years and naturally a crow with a gray streak on his beak. Julian and his even older brother Michel were the odd ones out, the other three sons taking after their parents in most way. Michel was a beautiful, elegant demon in both forms, Julian was just a rare find in their family line. Trying to find an out, he turned his attention back to Endzela, though he had nothing to say.Wyntre IceBlade Ohgod not the stutter! XD It was something he did when he first came to school because he was really sheltered and sorta afraid of ghouls.

Reeshie Hack Lol you're going to make poor lumi blush even more! --edit and I'll check back on this a little later gotta make dinner She heard Jullian start to stutter and she immediately felt it was her fault. Her eyes grew wide and her face flushed. "Oh jack...I...I didn't mean to embarrass you...I mean I...well I wasn't thinking and realised that after I said...and well..."Her cheeks were flushed as she tried to find a way to stop talking. But unfortunately for her, when she started to get embarrassed like she was now it was kind of hard for it to stop. She turned to the little owl sitting next to him and then back towards the boil. Saying very softly as she looked down, "I'm really sorry..."

"Hmm," West replied. He placed his ring back on the table and stared at it rather intently, trying not to look at Mitsu at all. Handkerchiefs. From cleavage. Oh, ghouls. What was wrong with a good old fashioned punch? "Guess I'll save it then," he said quietly. If Levi wanted the mangled thing, she could have it sooner rather than later.

"Thank ya~," Kettil said to Lumi in a cheerful tone. He did really enjoy it for the most part though he felt like there needed to be a little something more done to it but he wasn't sure what else to do thus he left it as is for the sake of simplicity. He could honestly get into making more of these little things just for fun.
Endzela cocked her head to the side and nodded in approval, "It looks very lovely. Good work. It seems my Kettil is done with his piece as well," she kind of hopped over toward Kettil so she could observe his work as well thoughtfully, "...Is it for me?"
"Maaaaaaybe. I think it is a bit big for you, La-La, but if I can find the stuff I'll make some things just for you," he promised his familiar cheerfully.
Peering around he saw a couple of other finished products including one of a nervous seeming dark haired boil, "That looks very nice~, I like that it is all symeh...symmetrical and stuff." Then he glanced back at the boil that his Familiar was chatting at, "Hey, nice!"
...Yes. Kettil is very much filled with awesome vocabs.

It was amazing Hel got anything done between the snarky comments and rude gestures she was making, but after things seemed to settled down for a bit, the valkyrie ended up getting into her work groove. She ended up doing something that she was rather familiar with, and as she split up her wire into three pieces, she fell silent as she started to braid them, mostly using her fingers, and tightening the bits down with the pliers. Once she was done, she bent and curled the ends, and then looked down at her creation in her palm. Heh. She liked it.

Oh no! She was getting upset! "N-no! No, it's okay, there's nothing to be sorry about!" Julian rushed out, holding up one hand and waving it back and forth a bit to try and make her feel better, that it wasn't her fault and she didn't need to worry about it. There wasn't anything for her to be sorry about, anyways, he just wasn't used to receiving compliments about his appearance, in either form. Well, maybe that he was cute or adorable, but not really anything besides that. Jack, if Sin were here she'd make a big deal about this whole thing.
He sighed and looked elsewhere in the classroom, picking a nice bit of empty wall to focus on. "R-really, it's okay. I'm just not used to this whole... social thing. And I used to be worse than this."Julian smiled a little at the compliment from the owl before watching her hop back to her reaper. The boil in question turned around and complimented him on the fairly simple necklace he'd made.
"Thanks, yours is good, too. I'm Julian, by the way." His voice still held the nervous tone, but damned if he wasn't trying to keep it together. He'd wanted to use this trip to be more outgoing, to learn to be what he'd heard to be a "proper demon," though in truth he didn't think he'd be able to manage half of the prejudices of his kind. Maybe it was because he was so used to seeing various types of creatures come to see his father for "readings".

Thackery turned to face the other boil to ensure that he was, in fact, speaking to him, before brightly responding. "Oh! Thanks! I hope it works okay. For the magic. I guess it's magic that we're gonna do. FEAR magic. Maybe special Death Clan magic." It was obvious in his expression that he hoped it would be the latter. "I like yours too. Really pretty!" He smiled briefly before shooting a nervous glance back towards the instructor. "I'm Thackery. Maybe we can hang out sometime!" Though still excited, his words were a little more hushed this time. He didn't want to be scolded.

Luidaeg concentrated on the finishing touches to his bracelet to the exclusion of all else. The tip of his tongue protruded just a bit from the corner of his mouth as he gave the end of the copper wire a final twist, fixing it in place. Perfect! the base from was a neat braid, but a few strands twined seemingly at random, giving it an almost natural look. They also provided spots where gems or other trinkets could be attached, when they were provided with such. He sat back with a satisfied smile.
