Sucking in nervously, Wash took his turn in front of his peers... and sang.

He realized as soon as his started that A.) he had started in FAR too low a key, and B.) that donut had left his throat as dry as the Sahara. Choking through the first verse, he swallowed a few times before clearing his throat, pitching a bit higher and with somewhat better success.

Wash wrapped up the second verse, and sat down. His hands were shaking. It struck him how long it'd been since he'd sang anything at all.

Harrison returned Jude's smile as he walked from the center of the field. ...Jude did okay, he seemed nervous for whatever reason, but Harrison thought the tamborine was a nice touch. B0nez had been eyeing up the guitar, which he assured Harrison he knew how to play, and that he was an expert with the whammy bar.

Jordan was here, also looking embarrassed to death. Harrison covered his mouth, trying to look respectful and extremely interested, and also trying not to crack up. Sad. It was just sad.

He eased over to watch Rep sing. This oughta be good.

"Hey, Jordan," he said, grinning. "...Psst, Jerry, Does that thing have a whammy bar?"

"What," Jordan grumbled, his cheeks bright red. God, he'd been terrible. He shot a sideways look at Harrison. Then looked again. He hadn't known Harrison wore glasses.

... maybe staring oh s**t don't stare. He looked away again, focusing elsewhere.

Rep had actually sung the song Jerry had made up to mock him. That was ... impressive and admirable, actually. Jordan clapped.

Harrison was wearing glasses.

As soon as he was done, Rep got as far away from the performance area as possible, right at the edge of the group feeling horribly horribly awkward and vulnerable to any sort of snide comments. He should have just held his ground and said no, just told everyone to ******** off.

But at least someone clapped, though staring at the floor he couldn't even tell if it was someone being ironic or funny.

He went back to his donut, blushing vividly and looking utterly and totally nonplussed and irritable, refusing to look at anyone. Even the delicious sugar didn't set him at ease.

Rin looked up, immediately recognizing Reps singing... only it was good. Better than her own performance. She was surprised but frowned as he also got embarrassed and ran off. She gave a quick look around before scurrying after.

"Hey, you did so good!" She flashed the man a huge smile, genuine through and through in her words.

As Auditions seemed to slow, Jerry finally stood up, leaving his guitar in the grass for now, positively beaming as he looked over everyone.

"Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone so much for showing up! Without you guys, this troup would be nothing!

A few notes...

Molly, my darling you are... BRILLIANT and AMAZING and oh dear lord, we are all so lucky you've got that violin. Miss Syd you are INCREDIBLE! Your song brought tears to my eyes! Who knew you had that in you?? I certainly hope you'll be gracing us with it again in the future! Miss Clerise, ahahaha... wonderful, WONDERFUL sense of rhythm! Your er.. pitch could use a little work, but those rapping bits were wonderful! I'll have to think about putting you to good use!

Let's see..." He flipped through his clipboard again before glancing around to the appropriate faces, "Miss Rin, Jordan, and Jude... you guys have WONDERFUL potential! It's clear you don't see it though! Nothing practice won't take care of!" He beamed at them, practically erupting with good intention, "We just have to bulk up your confidence, my friends!" Licking his lips and knowing how embarrassed they must have been, he crouched and leaned in to whisper, "Thanks guys. I mean it."

"Wash!" He glanced over to the black man, "For goodness sake you are AMAZING but please PLEASE remember to take a good drink of water before getting up? For your own health, my friend!" Oh goodness that baritone... perfect, it was all so perfect....

Then he turned to Rep, at first, his expression hardened before he outright broke into laughter, "That was incredible. I can't believe you remembered it! I didn't even remember all the words to that one! Ahahahahaha You are alright, guy! Just keep singing it. Don't worry, you're in." He made a mark on the clipboard.

"And Harrison...." He looked back over to where he left the guitar with the blond hunter. "Uh. Er. Wonderful um. Kazooing. You can be our roadie, how's that?"

He clapped his hands together, "NOW! Anyone else? Anyone?? Don't be shy!"

His loving, full on sparkling with glee expression trained on Otto expectantly.

Oh, so avoid the nerd with glasses. Got it. Otto nodded, sticking around Jude for now because why the Hell not. Just then Molly approached. The chick he stole TRADED a sandwich from with.

"You.." He narrowed his eyes at her, simply to try and scare her off. Her question made him snort. "Not a chance. Do I look like a----"

Oh crap. Jerry saw him.

Otto struck a deer in the headlights look, mouth gaping open. "Uuuuh, no can do. Drums are too heavy to carry."
