Vaith was looking pretty tired and run down by the time he handed his answer in. Inf act, he looked a little like he wanted to drop dead right then and there.
Could he sleep on the ground like Mai? Or in the corner of the room, like Night? If only he asked Aurian or Lacie to bring a pillow ..

All of Jericho's suspicions kept creeping into her mind, making her want to move away from Spectrae - this was, of course, impossible, because the ghoul kept following her every move. Riley kept a very careful eye on her, however. Said watchful eye did nothing to stop the surprise that flickered in her gaze when she suddenly spoke, however. The language was completely unfamiliar, but Spectrae's race was obvious. That made this a lot less difficult..
..at least, until Riley actually tried to use that information. Her eyes fogged up, and her hand pressed two fingers against her temple, as she accessed the hive and searched for the direct translation for what she had just heard and seen. It took far longer than she'd expected, after she stopped translating the sounds, and turned to the body language, until finally she let out a sudden choke of laughter - her first in days - and her eyes snapped back to their normal clarity.
Well. I can't be sure, Riley was really trying not to laugh. But I'm confident no hunter wishes to attempt to form a contract with Jericho's butt.

....A puzzle? Mandy could only stare in blank incomprehension at the horseman. She expected physical challengers, extreme danger and the like. And ok maybe some physical puzzle like a labyrinth but... an actually puzzle? Sheeeeee wasn’t the best at those. She glanced to the fairy beside her. She was thankful now she'd chosen them as her team again then, they'd already proven good at puzzles once. Shrugging to herself she walked up to the secretary taking their hint from them. And immediately felt all hope of her contributing at all die. It was a stream of numbers. Just- what. What.Looking extremely confused she made her way back over to her team passing the note straight to Astra.

Astra...wasn't at all sure what she should expect from these trials. Considering all the field trips, events, battles she had experienced...well, she was certain there was going to be pain. And torture, and ltos of other not nice things. Maybe this time she could do a better job of keeping her team safe... Watching the drop bear return with their clue, she took the clue and gazed at the long stream of numbers. "Hmmm..." The feelers on her head moved about, a sign that she was thinking about what the numbers could mean. "....I think I got a idea..." She then whispered something to Mandy. "What do you think?"

Mandy stared at the fairy with a look that could only translate as What you expect me to have a clue?"...Sure. That has four digits." that was a good as a yes you were going to get from the Drop Bear.

...Well, Mandy seemed happy enough with what she had done, so as long as she felt okay with it... "I'll go hand it in then" She then wrote down her answer, folded it up so no one could see it, then walked over to the clan member so she could hand it in. She just hoped she had it right... Moving back to her team mates, she smiled at them brightly. "Well, now all we gotta do is wait and see!"

... Rikki pointed at Roch and himself, giving Edel a deadpan stare. "Do we look like 'puzzel-solving geniuses'? Would you really want to leave it in our hands?" He cocked a brow, and then shook his head. "I'm good with going to Aksaja's room."

Holly studied her teammates for a moment. They were such an interesting group. Part of her wondered if this was any of their's first trip with the school. They were in a huge surprise if they were. Why she even agree to go on this trip. Oh well, at least she couldn't die, right? "Yeah, let's move a few steps away from the rest." Didn't want to give anything away if they did figure out something. She shrugged. "Sure I'll look at it too." Huh, what in Jack's name could these numbers mean. "While I"m thinking, any ideas?"

Petro waved his arm to draw Sheridan's attention while keeping a lookout for Sepheran. He didn't know their fourth member but if the basilisk boil suggested her then he'll keep an eye out for a ghoul. And wouldn't you know it, one approached him asking about team Shakespear. "Y' got the wrong group then. This 's Stakespear. But when I find the rest'v my team, 'm sure we can help y' find y'rs." he offered, not realizing she was the fourth member.

Yuki was anxious for the Trials, although perhaps not in an entirely enthusiastic manner. Sure, there was the fun of competition, but... In his mind it might be too dangerous for all of the ghouls to participate in. To say nothing of how he mentally viewed Astra as fragile...
That, of course, would go unspoken because he figured that the three of them would be offended by such thoughts as that.
Besides, this wasn't the haunted house. This was a school run event... Well, that didn't say a whole lot but surely it would be safer. Precautions would be taken, right?
He couldn't have been happier when this first clue they got was just some numbers. A harmless puzzle like this seemed to be could do no harm. Maybe the rest of this would all depend merely on using one's brain.
The ghost boil really only had time to take a peek at the numbers, kindly refraining from interrupting the two in their hushed discussion. Apparently, between the two of them they were confident of the answer. He smiled. Well, that was easy.
Maybe he had no reason to worry, after all.

Zurine wasn't familiar with anyone in her group really, at least not more then having seen them around a time or two on campus anyways - but she'd needed a group and they had kindly offered so she was pleased none the less.
She was less pleased however when she got the chance to look at the so called clue - it was just a bunch of numbers, what were they supposed to do with a bunch of random numbers? Frowning slightly in tohught she absently tugged on one of her ears as she followed her group off a little ways where they might talk it over with a little bit of privacy.
"So uh...any ideas?" She asked the group once they were a good bit off from everyone else. "Honestly I can't think what it might mean" She told them with a confused shrug.

Sammy meanwhile just made a face that looked vaugely like this.
ಠ_ಠ
"Why does it have to be numbers and riddles... Honestly I figured the horsemen would have us doing something more dangerous then just solving a riddle." Secretly this was code, Siddie and Shehk would pick it up no problem, but it was essentially Sammy's way of saying 'I'd prefer to be punching something in the face' at the given moment.
"I doubt however that it has to do with seeds, none of us have that kind of money except maybe a few high profile demons. It likely is a code of some sort for something." She sighed, "The question is what, and how exactly do we determine what the code is among all those numbers?"

"He's got a point. We barely made it through the puzzle part on our last thing like this," Roch said, shrugging. "I ain't exactly... a brainiac, y'know? I'm good at smashing things with my guitar." Course he probably should warn them about Aksaja's room, but oh well. "C'mon, let's go. Try not to step on anything, right?"

Something about the number on the paper was familiar. Siddie frowned at it, trying to figure out where she'd seen a number like that before. Why was that so familiar? Clove stirred in her hood and rested its head on her shoulder, chirping softly. "OH," Siddie said, and leaned in close to whisper something to her teammates.

Mot was not the least enthusiastic about the trials.
He put in his two cents when he could, but otherwise remained uncharacteristically silent. He believed it was best not to let personal drama get in the way of team work, but it didn't make it easy.
