"Dresses...are...that would be really nice Israfel, your clothes are always v-very pretty!" Emily did her best to remain in the upright-not-slumped-and-perpetually-staring-at-the-floor position. It lasted until the professor herded them out. Oh Jack humans...what if the one she had stolen from found her? Or the one that had stabbed her? Or the one with the portal? The witch's experience with humans was extremely limited, but consistently negative. By the time they had reached the tent, the small ghoul's eyes looked ready to roll right out of her head, or at least get a bad case of whiplash the way they darted around. But she didn't run or back out. Not just yet. This kitten was still hanging in there for today! Maybe she really would be invisible this time, maybe she would be the scary one! The was a loud bang outside, and Emily jumped with a squeak. She quickly began looking around for a nice closet to hide in. Maybe not.Mr. Monty sighed but stayed quiet, slightly mollified by Israfel's pampering earlier, but mostly just distrustful of this particular professor.

Another series loud knocks against the side of one not-so-thick wall startled a few students. The Professor looked up at the noise, blinking twice. <Many of you have the right idea. Now, I believe we will be having some visitors soon! Now, the first thing you must do when creating Fear is set the atmosphere. You need to use yourself and your environment to make the humans aware of your presence. Humans are only capable of creating Fear if they feel small amounts of its presence around, which is what you students will be trying today. >
There was an obnoxious buzzing noise and then, the voices on the other end of the wall, the ones belonging to the humans waiting outside grew quiet and hushed. Professor QB jumped from his perch on the table and sat next to the speaker. < We don't have much time now, quick everyone hide and find a scaring spot! You need to use your scaring spot to help you. Even if they cannot see you, they can see everything else around you, think of how to use it to frighten them! >OOC: FINDING A SCARING SPOT - The Professor is asking all students to find a spot in the room where they can potentially hide and scare humans. Fortunately, there are some very obvious hiding locations: your student can choose to hide either under the bed, behind the mirror, inside the closet, in the corner of the room, or behind the curtains. Bold your character's choice. - Feel free to discuss with other students hiding in the same location how to manipulate the setting while waiting.

Hide? What? Shehk looked around, frowning a bit as she considered what abilities she had at her disposal and where she had the option to hide. She had...fog. Was her fog visible, she wondered? If so, she needed to pick somewhere unusual to hide to make that an effective fright tactic. That knocked the curtains out as an option, fog in through a window seemed..normal to her.
But how about inside the closet? That seemed like a good idea to her, moving to stash herself away inside of it, but fully knowing she was probably going to have some company in there with her. She was in the closet, somehow she felt like she should have been making a joke about that.
A joke she couldn't place. Hmmm.

A spot to hide? UM. UM. UM. UM....!!!
Tomoko looked to panic for a moment before she decided that the best place to hide for her was behind the mirror. She didn't know why that appealed to her, but the kitsune skedaddled to go stand behind said mirror, peering out around it anxiously to see what happened next.
She might have just looked more spooked than ready to spook.

Sura was too big to hide in most places, so that left her to just..linger in a corner. Like a boss. Because really, in the closet and under the bed and behind curtains? She couldn't fit there at all!
So she'd just be..obvious..or something.

Zar listened intently to the Professor, or tried his best to, finding it surprisingly difficult to focus with the distraction of humans nearby, actually a little scared himself. So they'd have to find a spot to hide in? He quickly looked around the room, hunting for anywhere at all that would make a good place to try and be intimidating. Curtains looked like a good bet, there was no breeze in here right?
Besides it seemed somehow a good idea to put a curtain between him and the humans..just in case they were as dangerous as rumours said.
He beelined to hide behind the curtains and stayed there.

Junko had been there the whole time, staying quiet and just listening and watching the others answer the strange little creature's questions. This was really the human world? How strange. This would actually be the first time she was coming here and nothing had gone totally wrong..yet.
Eh? A scaring spot? But..but..uh...! Okay! Um...oh dear. What could she do? Behind the curtains? No, too obvious. The corner of the room? Lame. The closet? That could be interesting. What about under the bed? Ohhhh! She could trip people with her hair from under the bed! But she had something to take care of first. She hurried over to where her dearest Tomo-chan was hiding behind the mirror, giving her a hug, a scritch behind her ear and a kiss to her cheek. "I'm going to be under the bed if you need me, but do your best, okay? I bet you can be very scary~!" One more kiss and Junko hurried to go hide under the bed.
Okay, this was hard to do with all this hair.

Jericho listened to the professor, then looked around warily. There were a few places he could hide. After a bit of thought, he made his way over to the closet. Once there, he realized that Shehk was in here as well. He offered her a weak grin, then tried to stand in a way where he wasn't taking up so much room with his wings. He had a feeling there would be others in here pretty soon.
Still, the idea of some hunters being around, mixed in with the normal humans made him rather nervous. He hoped this would be over with soon. Right now, he was away from home. He wanted to go home.

Furrowing his brow briefly, Shun glanced about to see where he might be able to hide in the mean time. Granted, he wasn't sure why a hiding spot was really necessary if the humans couldn't see them in the first place. Regardless, he thought it over, taking in his choices. After a short while, he patted Mitsu on the shoulder gently, then ducked over into the corner, pausing as Sura stood there too. He just moved over to the side a bit, then crouched down.

Mitsu was rather curious as they continued to move through what looked like a haunted house though the smell of plastic and the distinctive lack of mildew and rot was a give away that this place wasn't as old as it was made to look. The other thing that caught Mitsu's nose was the odd scent. Her ears pivoted forward in full focus, her eyes pinned to the wall where the faint noise and smell was coming from. Humans....they were right there. Her initial thought was Hunters but surely the Professor wouldn't bring them anywhere near as dangerous. These were...normal humans.
Her focus had been so intense, the fur on her tail bristling, though somehow her eyes looked alight with curiosity rather than fear for once. Tail swaying slightly she only broke her visual focus when Shun touched her shoulder. Looking back she saw him and others taking to hiding places and nodding she did the same getting on all fours and sliding her slender frame under the bed in the room. There she waited, looking around wondering what she should use. Maybe she should just make the bed shake and rattle? She was strong enough to move it.

Titus was curious of their new surroundings, the 'Haunted House' was interesting though he wasn't sure what to make of the cheap decor. He poked a few items here and there noting everything seemed to be made of plastic. Even the stuff that normally would have been sharp and dangerous. How lame.
Listening to the Professor on and off again Titus looked around trying to decide on a hiding spot....though he didn't understand the point. If most of the humans couldn't see them then there was no point in being out of view and if there were those that could see them well....all the easier to scare them.
So rather than hide Titus moved toward the corner but being distracted failed to realize to whom he would be sharing the corner with. He lightly bumped into Sura and with a scowling expression turned to face her....and Shun.
"Awww man....."

West hadn't said much since arriving at the strange class he'd heard rumors of in the halls. Actually, he had said nothing at all. There was nothing much to say. This Professor QB was actually familiar to him, now that he saw the little creature again, so he didn't feel as though he was being led into a trap. Also, this journey to the human world was much more pleasant so far than his previous trip had been. As much as he had hated his wings back then, breaking one of them while being unable to get it to dissipate had proven worse than having the stupid things in the first place.
He watched from his position near the wall as his fellow students scrambled under beds, into closets, and behind curtains. A figure that he thought might have been Tomoko ducked behind a mirror, and his suspicions were confirmed when she peeked back out again. Yup. Tomoko. West felt a sudden and unpleasant drop in the vicinity of his stomach over the state of her tail, or... tails now, and the flames he had seen dancing on their tips, but it was not appropriate to dwell on that at the moment. The time to be pants-shittingly frightened of blue fire was not right now. Besides, he had seen some purple in there too, right?
He slid behind the mirror as well, thankful that it seemed there was quite a bit of room back here.

"Pleasure is all mine, I’m sure," is all he said, before being offered the option to take the first steps between the two of them. With a nod of his head, Jack took the initiative, and let the portal swallow him - something of a bit of a tight fit he felt - but once they were on the other side, his eyes dancing around the old building that they had come to - the human world, as he was told. It was faded and tacky, like the old families that Jack had passed along the roads on his way to school, the musty smell and crinkle of broken glass as others stepped on them kind of calming to him . . . Almost like a fallback to home - where ever that was now.
But, then again there was that feeling, on the edge of his senses, something he had not felt since . . . Well forever, that foreboding feeling that came when he was on that bloody train - as if there was something there, but he let it go with the slightest of a flinch, his senses overwhelmed by the sudden rush of . . . Whatever this was.
Listening to the hushed conversations between the other members of the group, his head swivelled when he heard a new statement, his attention caught so much in the conversation, murmuring his agreements with what he could, and keeping quiet when he did not wish to contribute more. Turning to Sparrow again, he shrugged once over, “This all seems pretty interesting, but a little overwhelming, being offered the ability to view what we’ve already been shown, I wonder what the Professor has in store for us. . . Maybe you’ll get your answers.” He said, just over a whisper so only they could hear - before hearing the call to arms - find a spot that you found was best.
Well he was far too large to be under the bed, and the closet did not look like it could fit him either, being so tall. . . He figured hiding in a corner would be best for him, his dark furs holding in the shadows, as it was his speciality. “Meet back after this maybe?“ he murmured, before giving Sparrow a curt nod, he broke off from what he could consider was his field trip buddy, before briskly wandering towards a corner, cat in tow as he attempted to sink in to the shadows, lidding his eyes a little, so that the glow was as non-descript as possible, feeling out his partner’s force on his shoulders, in case he may need her, whilst attempting to calm her so she wouldn’t allow any more pathetic mewls to let them be known too early.

YAYYYY He would sew Emily a lovely pinstripe dress with a few cute black skull pin buttons. Hel didn't seem too enthused. Maybe he'd make her a nice hat. Everybody liked hats! And socks! One could never have too many socks. Yes. Hats and socks of Hel, and a dress for Emily. A sound and perfect plan. Nodding to himself he half heard the professor. Oh FEAR was.. complicated. "well it sounds easy enough. I will hide over there. Good luck okay? Okay. And I will make you a dress." Earwings flapped at Emily as he gave pause to scratch Mr. Monty again. "And you a hat and nice socks." Hel got a grin as he nodded. He had his plan and it was a fashionable plan."But It's time to hide so I will hide now."Skipping off he went to the closest and suddenly- "..................Ohhhhhhh I see what is going on here. I will not disturb you." Placing a protection charm inside of the closet with Shehk and Jericho, the siren went over to the curtains to find another boil with funny wings. "I will be here too okay? If that is bad I will stay out of your way." And with that the siren was 'hidden' behind the curtains.

Shehk smiled to Jericho when it seemed he was going to be joining her in the closet, shifting to give him more room to adjust, half pressed up against the well. "This is interesting to play with." she mused, trying to play up a light side to being in a closet with any number of other students.
Then the door opened and Israfel was there. It seemed like the siren gave them a moment of thought before producing a protection charm out of practically nowhere. Shehk's face clearly read 'WTF' on it, as she again looked to the Red Dragon, then motioned after Israfel cluelessly.
"Where does he keep those things??"

Tomoko whimpered for a moment when Junko came over to assure that terrified look she had on her face was unnecessary, leaning into the hug and offering the older ghoul a return kiss on the cheek before the Futakuchi-onna went to hide underneath the bed.
"Okay..I'll do my best!" Tomoko promised, cradling her ball of stars against her chest. Keep a hold of her Ball of Stars, scare the people, She could do that much, right? Right??
Okay, maybe to try and not panic would be good too. Hyperventilation was imminent though.

King had been listening rather interested in what their guest instructor was saying, his ears twitched at the sounds from outside, but really, the talk of FEAR and how it was gathered.. fascinating. Of course, then the real interesting part was at hand, putting words into practice. Looking for a place to hide the wolfos watched as several students went to corners and the bed. My, it was a rather spacious room wasn't it? The smell of a cat hit his nose and- Corner. There was a cat in the corner. Sniffing the air again red eyes honed in on the boil with cat ears and a tail. Oh Jack. Cat. Cat. Cat. Cat. Cat. Fixated on the other student he slowly went to a different corner of the room, staring. Cat. It wasn't that he disliked cats, or liked chasing them they just.... smelled... very.... interesting. Yes. Interesting.
