 Norio Tadao •Man of Loyalty and Law•
Mugen Ittōryū | Ninjutsu Specialist | Tactical | Two-Man Team | Chuunin
xxxxxxx[•] Norio didn't even try to conceal his bored yawn. His mouth opened wide, tongue curling slightly as he breathed in deep, the air filling the lower depths of his stomach, muscles tightening and posture going slightly rigid until he let it back out and slumped further into the chair he had seated himself on at his arrival. He was in the waiting area outside the Kage's office, only there because of an appointment - an appointment he didn't make. It was a review, or so he was told, of his past actions, and, more probably, a discussion of his future ones. Norio is a Chuunin without much in the ways of having responsibilities. He didn't work at the school and nor did he tutor any genin. He is well-known amongst the civilians, mainly because of his father, so he was often delegated missions in that area. Despite his dark, broody appearance, the sarcastic tilt to his thin lips, and the off-putting colour of his eyes, Norio Tadao easily switches to a friendly mannerism amongst civilians and younger citizens.
Norio let our a small huff, posture slouched in the chair, arms dangling over the designated rests. He never felt comfortable meeting the Kage. The little kid creeped him out way too much.

Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu Zin listened carefully. Matsuya may have been and... rather now is again his older brother but he would cut him down like a peasant on the street should his answer not be what Zin seeked. Betrayal to him, he felt, deserved torture and death. Torture worse than man that was below, who was now having his broken hands hammered along the joints, while the sound of a medical saw would be heard in the mixture of his screams and classical music. But as the story when on, Zin's wrath dwindled and his itch to cut him lessened more and more. It seemed like Matsuya didn't just drop him on the side of the road or push him to the side. Zin sorta should have known better but as they say... scars don't heal easily.
Though when he spoke about his interest, Zin would look frequently to Naiten. 'I would be hurt if Nai-chan left me. Or if something happened to my Nai-chan. I would slaughter villages and all it's occupants to get to her. Then burn their corpses in a bonfire while their children watch before tossing them in too. No one hurts Nai-chan. She understands me. Accepts me. I cannot leave someone precious alone like that.' The child thought, thinking such a thing was what one would call a romantic type thought process; in a sinister, homicidal way.
Looking up to Matsuya, Zin's hatred was pacified. It seemed he was, telling the truth as he didn't faulter with his words. Nor did he get the feeling of him lying to him as he spoke. His slitted eyes looked down for a moment as he finally spoke after some silence. The venom in his tiny voice calmed entirely, "What do you plan on doing now?" He asked, wondering if he was going to go back to Kirigakure or return to Konoha. Though, he didn't think Matsuya would like the way Zin runs his village.
~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile ~~~~~~~~
Up at the highest tier, the ANBU had been starring at the young man waiting for what he assumed for the longest time before speaking, "If you are wishing to speak to the Lord Hokage, I can bring you to him. Although, he is at dinner and I do not know if you will come back in the state that I deliver you." The ANBU stated and cautioned, before awaiting an answer.
Matsuya was relieved to hear that the resentment in Zin's voice had disappeared. Though, the question the boy posed made Matsuya think for a moment. He had no intentions of becoming a leader again after he'd failed so miserably the first time. He couldn't run the risk of something happening that would compromise his people again. Matsuya stroked the silver stubble that was popping up on his chin again. "Well, Zin, I think I'd like to keep wandering for a while. Though, I wouldn't say no if you asked me to be something of an adviser to you. Not that you need it, mind you." Matsuya gave the boy a small wink as he finished speaking for a moment. If Zin did indeed allow him to be an adviser, Matsuya would be closer to establishing his information network. And that would bring him closer to being something worth writing in history books. Not as a leader, as he had already been recorded as, but as someone who changed the world.
Matsuya continued to stroke the stubble on his chin. All these obligations would catch up to him eventually. He was far to lazy to try and deal with them until they were absolutely necessary. Then a thought shot into his mind: the Nara Estate that sat in the forests of the village. What had happened there in the years that he had been away? He owed the people living there just as much as he did Luo or Zin. A small sigh came from Matsuya. He really needed an apple, something to calm his nerves. Something that would help him figure this whole situation out.
xxxxxxx[•] Pink eyes blinked, not moving until the ANBU finished talking. Now looking up at the higher ranked individual, Norio stared at him. "... you think I'm stupid." Voice monotone. Norio leaned forward, bracing his slouched posture with his elbows resting on his knees, hands dangling between his open legs. "Ain't no ice-cube in hell's chance I'm going near that guy - especially if he's outside his office." Pink eyes continued to gaze up at the ANBU, as if daring the male to contradict his stance. Norio had fear for the Hokage. Respectful fear, but fear none-the-less. The village leader never seemed... right. Not to say the guy doesn't do well. He leads the village exceptionally well. But he has reason to induce fear amongst his citizens. Norio was booked in for this 'evaluation' and he couldn't do anything about it - couldn't even take on any other duties until it was done. So, Norio would sit and wait, reciting literature in his head.
Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu The child giggled to Matsuya's proposition. He wouldn't mind Matsuya being an adviser but their methods of running things greatly differ. Zin ran off of fear and power. Matsuya, held a more democratic and friendly approach. Both styles worked well but in Zin's eyes he demanded respect and would happily kill everyone around the person for each time the person didn't give him the respect he deserved. The enlarged grave of ANBU operatives takes quite a testament to that. "My Nai-chan-,"Zin said as he gestured towards the tiny girl before him,"- is sorta my adviser and assistant but... I would not mind having my big brother come to visit. I assure you, your next visit will bring pride." Zin said with a soft giggle that had a tingr of eeriness to it. But then again, when does Zin's giggles give happiness and warmth to the spirit and soul?
Taking a sip of his more milky shake, Zin tilted his head, "Before you depart, unless you wish to stay the night enjoy the festivities of our victory, do you know of a man named 'Duo Ushio'? Or better yet, do you have any information about the 'Hero Water?'"The Naga Prince questioned as the sounds of screams and a bone being sawed though mixing with the pleasant sounds of music. As the chorus came in, Zin sighed as the screams died and there came nothing but silence and the steady dripping of some sort of fluid upon the tarped floor at the middle of the dome. "Ah how I love this song." Zin said softly as he sat back in the chair. How many homes and deaths he caused having this musical arrangement playing in his head. The very song that would soon be played when he makes his moves to make Konoha finally evolve.
Although after his thoughts he awaited Matsuya's response in helping with this dilemma. As he did so, a scroll from an ANBU operative was placed upon Zin's lap, coming from the Mizukage which he promptly read while he waited.
~~~~~ Meanwhile ~~~~~
The ANBU looked to the young man for quite a while, from the response he was given. Almost how a vicious animal would do to possible prey but due to restrictions it lays dormant from it's instinctual lusts. After all, Zin re-programed all ANBu to be nothing but vicious beasts; wolves to follower their Alpha, and attack savagely like the tactical beasts.

xxxxxxx[•] Norio watched the ANBU, unable to see the older male's face due to the customary mask. "Mhmm?" He hummed, thin lips twitching up into an unamused smirk. Truly, that smirk was more force of habit than anything else. A defense mechanism, some have said. "Do you wish me to disturb our master." It wasn't a question - Norio already knew the answer, or assumed he did. What good follower would disturb their leader with something so trivial. It was a paradox; a good follower knows when their leader doesn't need to be disturbed. Pink eyes narrowed, smirk still twisted upon his face, observing the ANBU's posture. He couldn't read it. With a click of the tongue, Norio stood, walking over to a window and opening it. Leaning against the frame, Norio pulled out a herbal cigarette. Comprised of dried blueberry peels and lemon grass, they were hand-made by the Chuunin. His father used to smoke real cigarettes, and Norio had taken up the habit as soon as he was legal (even a bit before). But he couldn't stand the taste anymore. Or the smell. Placing the tan stick between his lips, pink eyes looked over his shoulder to the ANBU. "Mind if I light?" He asked. The Tadao was content to just stand at the window with the feel of the wrapped herbs held by his lips if denied.

Matsuya's hand was still rubbing the scarce stubble on his chin as Zin was speaking. So the boy was happy to have him in the village. But not as an adviser. In all reality, Matsuya didn't mind that too much. He couldn't afford for someone to recognize him in Konohagakure. And then Zin posed the question about the Hero's Water and someone called Duo Ushio. Ushio. A relative of Luo's? Doubtful, seeing as Matsuya knew the majority of Luo's family and he had never heard the name Duo. Matsuya's eyes stayed locked on Zin's. "As you most likely know, the current Mizukage's name is Luo Ushio. He was a friend of mine when I lived in Kirigakure. And he is still a friend to me. I can tell you, with complete certainty, that I've never heard of a cousin or otherwise by the name of Duo. And as for the 'Hero Water', I've only ever heard legends of such things. A water of immeasurable power and value. May I ask why?" Matsuya's mouth was pulled into a small smile.

Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu Zin didn't mean anything by not wanting Matsuya as his advisor. Now that he knows he didn't betray him, the child didn't see him in red anymore. It was rather back to the way it used to be. But the child has to keep his guard up with who he lets into his circle; he is at a rather pivotal moment in his career. His plans are absolute, and he hasn't calculated a new person to enter into it just yet.
"I see..." Zin said as he finished reading the scroll and rolled it up, "Then what Mizukage Luo has said, is indeed the truth." He hissed curtly to Nagi, whose massive head rose up and clamped upon the scroll before slithering towards the door. "You see, not but a few hours ago, this person attacked the gates of Konoha. Killed some of my operatives in the process. Also, he put up false claims upon Kiri, by stating that the Mizukage Luo himself ordered the attack. Of course, I questioned this. With the aged relationship we have with Kirigakure, this random attack made little to no sense." Zin said as he swayed his legs upon the high chair and giggled, "Now he's being interrogated. We were going to have dinner over it as we watched the show. But... I guess he finally spilled the beans." Zin said as he gestured below at the darker area of the dome where the screams once produced, "Anyways, the 'Hero Water' of Takigakure has been stolen. I have suspicion that this man may have something to do with it. But we will see." The Naga Prince said as they carted his body up to the table.
Zin smirked as the man he once saw, was now an old man. Withered and aged. Seems like he was involved in the disappearance of the water and one of the thieves; unfortunately, the other two were not discussed. The doctors, nearly cloaked in blood whispered something to Zin, and showed him a vial of what looked like blood as he beamed, "Wonderful! Bring the skillet and the equipment here!" He pipped before tilting his head to Matsuya, "Want something to eat before you leave?" Zin asked as the child stood upon the chair over the man strapped to the gurney and though it was dark, the sight of the man's upper cranium would be seen being removed by his little hands. The skillet would be brought as Zin spoke, "You know the brain is always a fascinating organ. Each section controlling a certain part of the brain. All it takes is a little incision and they are debilitated." Zin said softly as he took a knife and a fork from his plate and cut. Where he cut, it would be difficult to define but the man upon the gurney babbled in nonsensical speech before the sound of something plopping into the skillet and the smell that resembled chicken wafting into the air. "Ah... How man so resembles beasts if you take away just some of the simple things." Zin said as he stabbed his fork into whatever lay in the skillet and fed it to the babbling Duo, "Open up. We can't allow you to die just yet." He fed the man before replacing what would look like the crown of his head again and snapped his fingers again. Having the medical nin remove the man, the fork to be replaced with another, and the skillet, "But speak to the daughter that took over Ichiraku's bar. I am sure she will cook you quite a meal." Zin said brightly, not avoiding that he almost gave off the notion that he was going to feed his older brother brains. "Sound fine with you?"
~~~~~~~ Meanwhile ~~~~~~~ The ANBU remained silent before shaking his head. If he wished to speak to Zin, rather now was better than later. If the man from earlier came out, while Zin was still in the mood to receive visitors, it would be better than within the child's office where more people end up leaving in black bags and cratered to the lower levels to be feasted upon by the serpents. But when Norio spoke to the ANBU about the smoke, he simply turned around and looked back down the hole. Not really giving a signal that he cared or not, so it was really left to Norio if he wished to proceed.
xxxxxxx[•] A slender black eye-brow quirked up at seeing the man's shake of his head, his decision to not see the Kage annulling. With a sigh, he breathed in deep, a tickle of the blueberry's teasing his tongue before he reached up, plucked it from his lips, and tucked it back into the breast pocket of his black shirt. The tan stick dissappeared entirely from view into the depths of the pocket. "Well," Norio took a step away from the window. "I'm assuming your offer to take me to our Lord was done with consideration for Him. So, if it's best to visit him now, just out with it and take me." The smirk was gone, thin lips now loose in their usual resigned droop, bright-pink eyes matching.
ANBU
The ANBU silently turned his heel and started down towards the spiraling lower tiers of the office of Zin Naga. and somewhat gave the notion that Norio should follow. As they descended a few sights would rise to greet them other than the many doors that lay upon each tier. First would be the large boa Naga Serpent best known as 'Nagi'. Zin's first and most deadly of companions. The large milky white boa slithered with it's massive jaws clamped along a scroll given by the Mizukage as it ascended the tiers. The ANBU silently bowed to the passing serpent who continued to proceed to it's masters main office. But he wasn't the only one that stopped. The smaller and other serpents that slithered amongst the ground halted and dawned their heads before the greater creature. In which, upon the full passing of the creature, did the ANBU rise back up and the other small serpents continue on with their movement to their destinations.
Upon coming to the tier just before they would reach the lowest one, the ANBU made a slight twitch to what was rising up. Medical nin, bloodied from the waist up, with what he assumed to be from the man that looked similar to the one who was previously attacking the village gates. Each finger, each toe, was broken by the joints; making them look like unwinded paperclips. His hands were nailed down into what deviously looked like just inches from his lungs; so each breath would suffer excruciating pain but not enough to kill him. For even the injury to his head, which made the marrow of his the ANBU's bone shiver, didn't kill the man. Only made him a babbling idiot. They sawed off his head to get to the brain which, he could only imagine what they did to him; specifically what Zin did to him.
Swallowing hard as they passed, the disturbed ANBU walked only halfway down to the last tier before pointing to the two ANBU positioned outside of the door with tasteful classical music lightly escaping the large metal doors.
  ►► She tilted her head far back, several stray locks of her long, ash blonde hair gently tickling the exposed skin on the back of her neck as she gazed up at the sky. This was, indeed, the moment of truth. She had spent three years away from the village, carefully monitoring the village activity, as well as its politics, from a distance, waiting for an opportune moment. Every step from here would have to be perfectly executed. One false step, and the Hokage could, and most likely would, have her killed. Everything that was about to happen hinged on her ability to appeal to the Hokage's lust for power, and the evil that hopefully plagued his heart. It was present within everyone, that dark side, no matter how well-concealed it was. And she would bring it out in the Hokage, regardless of what that required. Kaiten arched her long, carefully sculpted brows over her feral crimson eyes as her gaze zeroed in on where the Hokage's office was located. A sigh escaped through her shell-pink lips with a low, almost bored-sounding noise, which she pursed as she took several steps forward, the heels of her boots making soft sounds as they connected with the ground. She entered the building and headed towards the staircase with quick, brisk steps. Her steps were lithe and smooth as she descended the stairs, heading to the Kage's office with the symbol of Konohagakure hanging from a thin silver chain around her neck, as well as being emblazoned on the backs of her gloves. The antiqued silver pendant hadn't been worn in years, but it would serve its purpose. The kunoichi was petite and slender, her muscle definition a clear sign that she'd been training as a shinobi since childhood though her body still retained her womanly curves. Her skin was the flawless, the color of pale, creamy antique ivory and marred only by the intricate tribal tattoos that wound their way across her torso and extremities. The only place that didn't have tattoos was her stoic heart-shaped face. Her long, ash blonde hair was caught up in a clip, her bangs falling gently towards one side of her face with several wispy stray locks escaping the updo. The strands each had a perfect luster to them. Her almond-shaped eyes were a feral crimson, the color of dying roses, once used as a symbol of true love. Her legs wobbled slightly as she stepped onto the landing, muscles trembling with anticipation. She paused outside of the door to the Hokage's office to catch her breath before knocking twice. A single thin, silver bracelet was clasped around her wrist as she reached up to knock on the door of the Lord Hokage, waiting patiently for instructions to enter.
xxxxxxx[•] Norio followed when given the sign. Arms dangling by his sides listlessly as they walked, up until Nagi. Norio didn't need to follow the ANBU's example to know where respect was due, arms straightening as he bowed deeply, as was proper in comparison of their ranks and reputations. The Chuunin did, however, wait until the ANBU began walking once more before he did as well. Norio raised a hand, swiping the pad of his thumb across the tip of his nose to rid itself of an itch, but the limb paused before the destination was reached, distracted, as he were, by the sight of the medical ninja. The hand lowered slowly, fingers limp. Pink eyes stayed on the medics and their 'patient' as the ANBU lead him past. When the ANBU stopped and pointed, Norio gave a small nod of his head, focused on trying to relax the pinched expression on his face into a more neutral appearance. Walking down towards the doors, Norio stopped before the guards. When it looked like they weren't going to let him through automatically, he spoke. "Norio Tadao. Chuunin. Here for my review and reassignment."
Matsuya lowered his eyes as the man who Zin called Duo was brought before them. In reality, Matsuya had no hate for this kind of thing. He himself had been known to dabble in medical studies. But this, this was a monstrosity. While Matsuya's researched had been purely for the benefit of humankind, Zin's seemed to be used to frighten people. Matsuya shifted as an ANBU and the chunnin joined them. It was time to go and leave Zin to his business. "Well, Zin, I'll check in every now and again to make sure things aren't going too bad for my brother. But for now, I'd like to gather my weapons and depart. I do appreciate your offer for dinner, but I'd really rather get going. Lots of things to tend to, I'm sure you understand. Take care, Zin." Matsuya gave the boy a warm smile and a wave, then walked off up the stairs. He stopped briefly to gather his things from the ANBU. As he strapped his sword to his waste, he looked at the masked men before him. Something about them wasn't quite right. He couldn't place it, but there was definitely something. "Hey, tell the Hokage that I'll be awaiting a letter, should anything come up that he needs help with." Matsuya gave them a nod and walked up from the pit. He also fixed the bandages back over his face. It wasn't his business to be found out. Not yet anyway. There were still precautions to be taken before he could let that happen. He departed towards the gates, silently watching people who passed him.
ANBU The ANBU next to Norio, would nod and open the door for both Matsuya's exit and Norio's entry. By this time, the lights around the dome was re-lit and the two children having dinner surrounded by ANBU would be seen. Also would be seen, a large pool of blood upon the center of the dome. Painted upon the white tarp would be were the pool is most prominent, showing where their guest was strung up.
~~~~~~~~~
Up where the newcomer kunoichi lay, an ANBU moved to indeed cater to her as well. As the bumbling surgical oaf was escorted out of the top tier the ANBU spoke to the woman, "You... What business do you have with the Hokage?" It spoke from underneath the usual ANBU get up. The aura would be different from the ANBU that once stood guard years ago. Now, they held a true ferocious aura that only matched a small amount of the aura that their trainer or the Hokage, holds. The masked operative apprehensively awaited the answer that would decide whether this is one to be struck down or one to meet their leader.
