Altamira

"I merely wished to inform you that I do not need the money." Regal spoke to Devlin, idly watching his fox companion curiously. "I am the president of a successful company, so I am somewhat wealthy."
He noticed that the fox had briefly turned into smoke. "Interesting. Gregrai reminds me of creature of legend that I once heard about in a friend's village." He observed the crab walking away. This person appeared to be good with animals.
It was then that he remembered that he was talking to the Planeswalker. "My apologies. I distracted myself. I have seen a weapon that may be capable of affecting a plane- It was the tool originally used to divide the world many years ago. However, I last saw it in the possession of another friend of mine. I do not know if that is relevant, but I felt it was worth mentioning."

"No. Now it's highly possible you're an agent of Bolas." The man said in response to Bunnie. He then looked to Regal, handing the man back the money he had been given.
"I have no use for money. Anything I need I can simply summon. As for this weapon, I would need to analyze it, and your friend, to determine if it is the cause. I have my doubts, but I must be certain." He said. He still refused to introduce himself, hoping to have the issue resolved quickly and leaving before he ever felt need of staying.

Bunnie held out her furry hand to Regal after introducing himself. "Nice to meetcha." She smiled then turned her attention to Devlin. "He's name is Tails, and he's a fox like yer friend. Though he could walk and talk like I could. He's the youngest of the Freedom Fighters." Hearing the silver-haired man's response to her had her sigh a bit. "I don't even know what yer talkin' about."

Fooji Mountains

Jade's curiosity grew even more when Blaze mentioned that humans were scarce from where she came from. That and the mention of something called Sol Emeralds. "Unfortunately I have no knowledge about these Sol Emeralds you speak of." He said with a calm tone. If such things had existed in Auldrant, he would've most likely known about them.

When Blaze introduced herself, he would take her hand to give a handshake. "Even in unfamiliar territory, I get acquainted with royalty." He made a cheerful smile, even though it did seem rather strange to shake hands with the humanoid cat. "Well then, Your Highness, shall we be on our way? Considering that we're both on the same boat, it would be wise to travel together and find out where we are."

Regal accepted his money back from the Planeswalker, simultaneously shaking Bunnie's hand, speaking to each in turn. "I see, and the pleasure is mine." Sadly, Bunnie's hands hardly seemed like the paws of an ordinary rabbit.
He took back his hand and held it sideways in a shrug of sorts at the Planeswalker. "I'm afraid I can do very little to help you there. I do not know of Lloyd's whereabouts at the moment. He always seems to travel when something such as this is going on."
He rubbed his chin and closed his eyes in thought. "...Though I doubt he would have used it to separate the worlds. He used this sword to reunite the worlds about three years ago. We traveled across the worlds for that very purpose. I believe an outside force is likely the culprit."

Blaze - Fooji Mountains

Blaze made an aside glance for a moment as she responded, "Perhaps that is for the better..." She was never in any mood to explain about the Sol Emeralds to someone with no knowledge of them, as she often thought about the mistake of revealing their nature to someone who might end up misusing their power. Jade certainly didn't seem to bear ill will right now, but she wasn't ready to stake that much trust in him.

After sharing a brief handshake with him, she sweatdropped at being addressed "Your Highness". There wasn't a clear reason why, but there was something about being referred to as such that bothered her a little. It wasn't as if she was throwing around her title of Princess either, she just thought she needed to be that formal with her introduction. "There is no need to call me that. 'Blaze' is perfectly fine." She nodded. "Indeed, we'd better get going. Let's try this direction." She pointed with her thumb in the original direction she was going before she found Jade and walked forward.

Azura and Kratos - Tethe'alla half of the Great Tree

At last, the two had found the clearing where the Great Tree stands, approaching it from the back. Kratos instantly noticed that it seemed quite damaged---the side he first laid eyes on glowed a pale green-white and it was devoid of aged branches, with new ones trying to grow in their place. And it was as if a straight cut was made down it. Seeing a hint of alarm where there was usually stoicness, Azura took it as a sign that things were indeed terribly wrong here.

As they walked around to view the front, which in sharp contrast looked okay, a voice familiar to Kratos cut the silence in the air. "Well, if it isn't the last person I thought I would see in these times. How in the world did you find your way back?" Yuan Ka-Fai stood in the distance, his arms crossed. Spotting who he perceived as a stranger who had come along with him, he added, "...And who is that?"

Not even startled, Kratos turned to face his old friend, folding his arms as well. "...An acquaintance. She helped me return here, and I allowed her passage into this area. You need not worry about her being a threat."

The Dark Elf nodded and made a formal bow, smiling cheerfully. "I am Azura Cantarella of the world of Gaia. Indeed, I come in peace. And it wasn't just my effort alone---my friend was also piloting our spacecraft, but she remains up at the peak to repair it as it, uh...crashed and all."

Yuan turned a thoughtful look on Azura. "...I see. One of those rare instances who entered the world willingly. Your vehicle is up there, you say?"

His reply sparked Kratos' curiosity. "What do you mean by that? Yuan, what is going on? And the Tree..."

The blue-haired seraph took a silent pause to gather his thoughts, then began, "As you may have noticed, Sylvarant and Tethe'alla have been separated again. Might you have also noticed a black comet in the place of Derris-Kharlan? Aselia split when it appeared, and we are still trying to understand why. The Great Tree has also been separated into halves by the will of Martel, and the other half was transplanted where the Tower of Salvation once stood in Sylvarant. I am keeping watch over this half while my Renegades are supervising the other."

"We have seen it. ...So that the mana there would not run out as a result of being cut off from the whole tree. I see."

Yuan nodded and continued, "Coincidentally, my cohots as well as Lloyd and some of his friends have observed the strange occurrence of people from other worlds appearing in ours. It was initially hard to believe, but so many with the same claim have turned up that it just cannot be ruled out as a possibility anymore. We are trying to decipher this matter as well, but we haven't found anything conclusive either. We only have...an admittedly bizarre theory..."

"And that would be...?"

"The Eternal Sword, the weapon harboring powers of time and space was used to split the world. The comet somehow must have similar powers if its presence caused the dimensional barriers to rise again. As a result, the very fabric of time and space surrounding Aselia has been so torn that it may be starting to affect other planes of existence..."

Fooji Mountains

Hearing Blaze's response in regards to the Sol Emeralds had him even more interested. However, he could tell that she didn't want to talk about it. He would respect that as he too had certain topics he rather not talk about. When Blaze told him that he didn't have to call her 'Your Highness', he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "Very well, Blaze." He said with a cheerful tone. He put his hands behind his back as he began to follow Blaze in the direction she was going. "I would assume that you have seen that streak in the sky as well?" He asked.

Devlin Clodo

Altamira
"Tails, huh? That's an....Well, it's not very unique...." He smiled sheepishly before looking at the guy who said Bunnie could be working for someone, and it didn't seem like this someone was a good guy. "It's not nice to say things about someone you don't know." Devlin then looked at Regal. "Wow. You and your friends made two worlds into one? You must be pretty important then? All I did back on Foresia was tame wild animals."
PostPosted: Tue Mar 27, 2012 3:55 am

"Then the potential for it to be Bolas's work just magnified. I'll have to look into it." The man said to Regal. He then looked to the other stranger who had spoken to him.
"It is my duty to make assumptions and to destroy evil. Anyone I don't know is a threat. And that includes you, boy. The forces and magics at my command would leave you speechless, even at only half my true power." He stated, keeping his calm as best he could. Of course he didn't know for certain what effect drawing mana from this plane would have on his spells, and without the ability to read the minds of others, he couldn't be certain this individual wasn't Bolas in disguise either.

Richter walked into Altamira. He was a bit uneasy, knowing Regal was probably in Altamira. He wasn't sure how he felt about meeting one of them so soon. But, he knew it was going to happen eventually. Might as well get one of the encounters out of the way, right? He walked into the city further, seeing the unmistakeable hair of Regal Bryant. Not to mention the build of his body. He saw four others with him, too. Though, their mana signatures didn't match that of Sylvarant or Tethe'alla. They must be some of the visitors Ratatosk informed me on. Richter just stood in the distance. Not only because he was hesitant on encountering Regal, but what was he going to do in Altamira? He wasn't one to relax at resorts.

Altamira
"If I wanted to kill you or something, I would have done it by now. If I have something I want to do, I don't waste time on it. I guess that's why animals respect me." He looked at the man. "But, why not hold off on stating your judgements? If you want her to be you enemy, you're on the right track." Devlin looked at Regal. "Can I ask what kind of...medicines are common here? Potions and things like that?" "Yipp!" Devlin looked at Gregrai.

Altamira

It was good to have a planar authority of sorts investigating. Regal nodded in thanks.
Regal humbly responded to Devlin. "I wouldn't say I'm important. I merely assisted in what meager ways I could." Of course, he was making an understatement, but he didn't feel that he was a very important person. Just a humble... President. "To answer your other question... In addition to conventional medicine and healing artes, travelers and adventurers commonly use confections: Gels." He happened to have an Apple Gel on hand, so he removed it from his pocket and showed it to Devlin. It was even pre-wrapped. After people saw it, he would put it back in his pocket.
"While it may seem unusual, they're actually strangely effective. In addition to Gels, we have beverages known as 'Potions'. However, they are intended for adult consumption."
While he was explaining about Aselia's medicinal items, he thought he saw someone familiar at the city entrance. He seemed surprised and even shocked by this. It seemed highly unlikely that he could be seeing the one who he thought he was seeing. "I'm sorry, but I believe I see someone I know. Perhaps he shall be able to shed light on the situation. Then again, I may be seeing things." With another friendly nod, he would walk to the city entrance with a look of mild shock. "Richter, is that you?"

Bunnie glanced over to Devlin. "His name kinda says it all. He has this ability to fly from usin' his tails." She tapped her chin in thought. "Though I admit that my own name isn't very...unique either." ^.^; She frowned when she heard the silver-haired man speak to Devlin. "Ain't that a bit...reckless on goin' by assumptions alone?" She hoped that perhaps in time, maybe he wouldn't think ill of her.

She soon turned her attention to Regal when he was showing an Apple Gel to Devlin. "So those gels are like medicine?" She asked until she noticed Regal walking to the city entrance to greet someone.

Richter tensed as Regal came over to him. "...It seems so." Now what? The last time he'd seen any of Emil's friends was when they fought him. Was that battle going to carry through now? I don't have the time to fight an old battle. If there's in hope in finding out more about the comet and how the worlds can be saved....I'm afraid I'll have to ally myself with them. Richter was uncomfortable at the idea, but they would be on the same side this time. Besides, what were the odds of running into all of them, mainly Emil, in just a few months? If anything, most of them would out traveling to find out what happened. It was fortunate for Richter, seeing as he didn't need the encounters one right after the other.

Blaze - Fooji Mountains

Blaze was going at a slow enough pace for Jade to eventually end up walking beside her. Looking up at him, she responded, "Yes, I have seen it too. I wonder what it was... Perhaps, after we get our bearings, I'll try heading in that direction to see if it's anything I need to be concerned about. What about you?"

Azura and Kratos - Tethe'alla half of the Great Tree

"Huh. Sounds legit," Azura spoke up, breaking the thoughtful silence, "I come from a world that I've observed to be...kind of a multiversal nexus. The time-space fabrics around it have been flimsy for what I assume is practically forever! Might even explain how Derris-Kharlan came hovering around Gaia one day..."

Yuan turned a slightly shocked look on Azura. "...I beg your pardon?"

"Well how do you think I chanced upon Sir Kratos? ^_^ Perhaps one anomaly was connecting to another and the rest is history."

He placed a hand to his chin and turned an inquisitive glance back at his old friend. "Hm...Kratos, how long ago did you meet her?"

"I would say it's been about little over a week."

He nodded. "That certainly still falls within the timeframe...the comet appeared a couple of months ago; the people from other worlds, a couple of weeks... This is putting me a step closer to understanding why this is occurring."

"Are you implying that this all could be more than mere coincidence? And this comet, is it doing anything else?"

Yuan nodded at his first question and verbally replied to the last. "I was about to get to that. At times, it casts down an ominous shadow somewhere upon the world, covering as much area as the average village. Within that shadow, demons arise and any native monsters that are caught within it apparently become possessed and more violent, siding with the demons."

Kratos made the slightest expression of keen concern. "...I see. And how have the people dealt with that?"

Yuan shook his head. "Inevitably, there were some casualties. The shadows have rarely ever fallen beside cities, but luck cannot always be counted on. It cannot be predicted where exactly they'll fall next."

Raven hummed slightly to himself as he looked out across the field outside the forest. "Hmmm." The old man rubbed his nose and looked about the group. "So where are all of you from, exactly? By the looks of it, I think I wouldn't mind visiting where our beautiful Ms. Tear's and gorgeous Ms. Rei's homes." He placed his hand on his chin in thought. A small laugh escaped his lips.
