"Meaning you think I'm delicate because I'm Fae?" Angela asked raising an eyebrow. "Well then you, sir, are fortunate you're my instructor. Otherwise, I might be tempted to demonstrate how delicate I am not--with a right hook, of course. Since it's the best way to demonstrate a lack of delicacy."

Angela watched the kittens for a moment before reaching down to pry Marshmallow off Silveril's knee. "I suppose I have a soft spot for strays and orphans since I'm a bit of both, as well. Well, my father is actually still alive but...eh...the situation is annoying and complicated. In the end, I just felt sorry for them and you can't always trust shelters to really care for them properly, and not simply put them down for their convenience."

Her expression darkened slightly as she cuddled the white kitten. "Just because someone is supposed to be responsible for caring for another creature, it doesn't mean they'll actually do it. People neglect the ones they're supposed to take care of, all the time. When these fellows actually find a permanent home, I want to make sure it's with someone I can trust." She looked up at him and smiled slightly. "You're right about Professor Sinclair though. I was surprised she stepped in. She insisted on helping though. I think...she really isn't quite as apathetic about everything as she likes to have people believe."

"I apologize. I don' t know much about Fae since I haven't met very many of them. But I suppose it's also because of the way I was raised since the women in my family, despite being vampires, preferred to be treated as if they were delicate." Silveril said. And he figured that women in general before preferred to be treated that way. Apparently there were some tough females in Rosentale Academy.

Well, it's not that Silveril minded the kittens. He was just certain that he wouldn't be able to take care of them since he's never had a pet before in his life. He hoped that this would be the only time they would be forced on him.

"I see. Well, do be careful with taking in strays. I can turn a blind eye to just a few, but if you start bringing in too many, I'm afraid the school won't be able to ignore it." Silveril warned.

"Ah yes, Professor Sinclair isn't aware yet that her emotions aren't dead at all. Of course, if one doesn't pay attention, she can seem a bit lifeless. One of these days, we ought to make her flustered." Silveril agreed as he awkwardly picked up the black kitten. It wouldn't stay still and still wanted to climb all over Silveril, but he wouldn't allow it since he didn't want it to get stuck in his hair.

"I'm just not used to it," Angela said, burying her face in Marshmallow's fur. She grimaced. He smelled like stinky kitten. Ew. "I wasn't really raised to be...delicate. More like, I was raised to be, I don't know, Godzilla trapped in some short girl's body or something. And then when my father found me and took me to the court, everyone started treating me like I was made of porcelain." She shrugged. "It was sort of annoying. I never quite got used to it. I think I'm too...rough around the edges to be treated like like that. It's sort of wasted on me, you know?"

"And you needn't worry. I don't intend to make it a habit to take in strays. But these lads were going to die if I just left them there--they can't really take care of themselves yet. It was worth breaking the rules over."

She looked up at him, wondering just what his relationship with Professor Sinclair was. They seemed to be friends or...something. Maybe not friends. They actually seemed more like rivals with the way they apparently wanted to subtly torment one another. Well, that was alright. Angela didn't mind being a double agent. She gave Silveril a mischievous smile. "Oh yes. I definitely want to see that cool exterior ruffled. She acts like there is nothing at all that can get under her skin, or that she doesn't care about anything. Actually she named one of the kittens--Rhia, even. It's not even a practical name. So I'm certain all that apathy is just a show. She may really believe it, but I suspect there's more to her than just that."

"Between you and me, I find delicate women to be a bit troublesome--the ones who pretend are worse. Silveril admitted as the black kitten started to paw at Silveril's face. He turned his head so that it was attacking his cheeks so the fur wouldn't get in his nose and make him sneeze. "It can't be helped if someone is really delicate. I'll go out of my way to help them, but it's a waste of time if I have to help someone who has the ability to do it themselves."

Silveril thought about what Angela said about Vivian. He never thought of it that way since he wasn't really interested if she was hiding anything or not. She annoyed him sometimes since she just seemed to give up on life. "I wouldn't know what goes on in that girl's head. I just think her apathy is just a form of running away. She believes that just because we're young, we won't be able to understand, but if she doesn't give us the chance to try--well, just let her do what she wants." Silveril told Angela. He wasn't the type to pry into people's personal business anyways.

"So one of them is Rhia, what are the names of the others?"

"I suppose it's nice to be taken care of sometimes," Angela said. "Instead of everyone assuming you can take care of yourself. STill, I'd hate to put someone out just because I wanted to be coddled." She watched Nicodemus paw at Silveril, grinning slightly. It was funny to see him with the kitten, even if he seemed to be merely tolerating it.

"Well, that one is Nicodemus," she told him. "And this fellow here, is Marshmallow."

"As for Professor Sinclair...I mostly think it's frustrating that she seems to think it's the fate of all immortals to end up as she is but I don't think that's true. I know many fae that are also very old and most of them are not like her at all. She seems to blame her age, but I think the issue is inside her. It might be nice to help her find her passion again."

"At the very least, it'll keep me from going mad with the idea I might become like her some day."

"So I take it that the last two were named by you? Was Marshmallow named after your favorite treat or perhaps you were hungry at that time and you viewed the poor thing as a light and fluffy snack?" Silveril teased with a smirk which soon faded when Nicodemus started to slobber all over his fingers.

Silveril set the kitten down on the ground and reached for a few tissues to clean his hand. "Well then, if you're so bent to helping her find passion, the kittens are probably the first step since she seems to be awake more often because of them. Of course, you'd better thread carefully since you might unearth some bad memories for her. Vivian has a very depressing outlook of life."

"And hopefully you don't become like her someday. As a pureblooded vampire, I'm also entitled to a life of immortality so if I ever run into you again centuries later and you ended up like that old child hag who only amuses herself with cats--" Silveril paused. Now what would he do if such a situation happened? "I actually wouldn't do anything, but I probably would be disapointed in you."

"well, he's white and fluffy," Angela said, shrugging. "What else would I name him?" It was perfectly logical to her. "I don't think I could eat him though. He sort of...reeks." Why did kittens always have that weird, creepy smell? No matter how cute they were, they always reeked.

"Everyone has bad memories," she said after a moment. "I'm not going to worry about uncovering something like that. If she has something terrible lurking in her past, then she may as well remember it and deal with it. It's not like the rest of us were spared dealing with our past trauma. She was the one who told me never to forget the things that make me feel strongly--no matter if they evoke positive feelings or negative ones. If that's what she really thinks, then it won't be a problem, no matter what is dredged up."

"I do have to admit though, if we meet three hundred years from now and I've turned into an apathetic, slightly whiny pessimist, I should hope you would care enough to at least give me a good whack on the head to straighten me out. Because I have to admit, for my part, if we are to meet up again and I find you've become like that, I will definitely punch you. Hard."

"I never really took much note to how they smelled. Perhaps they just smell like potions from being in the potions classroom all day?" Silveril suggested.

"She really told you something like that? Well isn't she quite the hypocrite--unless she went and forget everything and it was too late to go back. I suppose that's good advice." Silveril agreed.

He couldn't help but snort at Angela's remark about punching him. He wondered it would hurt. He hoped it would hurt if he did end up like the child hag. But most likely he would avoid it as much as possible. "Perhaps I will. Of course, it'd be better not to come to the point we have to hit each other." Silveril said.

Silveril was a little surprised he was able to maintain a conversation. Of course the subject was a rather unpleasant cat lady. Silveril decided it was time for a change of pace. "And how are classes going for you, Angela? Seeing how you're here chatting with me, I take it you didn't make that many new friends?"

"Ah...hahaha...not...really." Angela flushed, suddenly paying a great deal of attention to the cat. That wasn't awkward at all. Yes, yes, I fail so much at making friends with people my age, that I prefer to hang out with my attractive physics teacher. I am not a loser. Not at all.

"I actually don't get along with people well. I mean, it's all good and well when it's someone who isn't, well, a completely idiot. But I suppose I don't fit in with the other students well. I've nearly gotten into two fights, which I suppose isn't all that great really. Though I actually did control my temper rather admirably if I say so myself."

"I just...I don't know." She sighed. "I'm not good at socializing and being normal and all that. Classes are okay--I mean, the work isn't difficult. It's just the other people. Hitting people is about the only thing I'm actually good at."

Silveril took note of Angela's embarrassement. "I'm not much of a people person myself and I commend you for holding back your temper." Silveril said to her. He was a little surprised to hear about Angela's temper since he never thought of her as an angry person. But that was probably because Silveril probably never got on her bad side. Well, that probably was the case. Silveril was honest with himself and knew himself to be somewhat of a passive person.

"I think hitting people is not the only thing you excel at. You've got quite a lot of other talents." Silveril said somewhat sternly. "Intelligence doesn't come to people easily, sadly, but you clearly have intelligence. You tend to carry a sketchbook around so you have talent in art. I will tell you now that if I attempted to draw something, I can make even garbage look like art." Mainly because Silveril never tried to doodle anything in his life...

Angela flushed at Silveril's compliment. She ducked her head, letting her hair fall over her face to conceal the fact that her face was red, as well as the faint glow that tinged her skin. Stupid ability! "I just...don't want to get kicked out," she finally said. "I would rather be here, than with my father so..."

"And I don't think drawing is really that amazing. You just need to learn to see things the way they are, to learn basic shapes and proportions...and after that, so long as you have hand-eye coordination and the drive to do it, you can learn. It's not like it's some sort of magical talent, like some people like to try to make it out to be."

"Besides, even if you're not artistic, you still teach a difficult subject. And I'm sure you have other things you're good at as well--hobbies and, um, things."

And there went her ability to be articulate. Gah!

Being one who took note of small details, Silveril noted the faint glow from Angela's skin. Well... it was dark in the classroom, so it wouldn't be that hard to notice for Silveril who was more accustomed to the darkness. So was this how Fae reacted when they were embarrassed?

"Well, I suppose I might give drawing a try one day." Silveril replied, but he probably wouldn't show Angela his attempt since he already foresaw a terrible drawing in his head. Perhaps he could start with something simple... like a box or something.

"As for hobbies... I don't think people watching is considered a skill or ability. I just have a slight interest--"

Silveril stopped when he found Nicodemus and Rhia attacking at the door. Were they sick of the dark classroom or were they just bored and restless. Well, considering that Angela and he were just chatting with each other, it was no wonder they were bored. Silveril frowned as he started to contemplate. How would he deal with this kind of situation?

"I...I think I need to get to my next class," Angela said, hurriedly gathering her things. She couldn't get the stupid glow to leave her face either. So annoying! "Um, I'll come back to help you with the kittens if you still have them later on, alright?"

"And you should give drawing a try sometime, definitely. Let me know how it turns out, yeah?"

She gently moved the kittens away from the door and hurried out into the hall toward her next class, without realizing she'd left her sketch book behind on the floor.

Abel went inside the Physics classroom early than his lecturing time. Grabbing Noire's chair, He sat there with fingers entwined against the desk. Brilliant! That Noire geek didn't left any lecture notes for his class today.

He combs his hair with his fingers. The classroom is still empty and a deafening sound covers the entire hall. Abel wasn't sure if anyone's coming or not. Most of the students under the geek vampire are aware that their professor will be on a leave.

Might as well, wait if the maggots will come. He closed his eyes then wait..

Aerin was the first to arrive in the room, Make that second if she counted the teacher. and it would have been quite satisfying for her if it weren't for the scum in the room. Great.
