"Get rid of what?" She turned towards Mot cocking her head leaning on her prop sword which was sheathed again and resting on the ground like a cane. The vomit had done a bit more damage then it showed, it had drained the FEAR more then physically wounded her. Too much JOY, too raw, all over.
"The JOY gunk? A shower. The scars. A new body I suspect. But I like them, shows how much I've gone through and that I'm still standing from it."

Gilly took just about fifty wrong turns before actually finding the theater. She held a soggy flyer in her hand that advertised the show tonight. She had left about a half an hour early, but felt like she had been walking for hours.
She walked up to the doors of the theater and looked for any sign of life. The doors were closed she couldn't see any other openings.
"Unnnggh." the door handle slipped as she tried to pry open the door and she fell back on herself. "I guess it's locked, maybe it started already." She pouted and scooted up to the door, pressed her ear against it and tried to see if she could hear the play in progress.

"I don't know," Barth replied to Calder, reserved. "If it is, it's not a very subtle one. ...Do you need my coat?"
No one seemed to be...too badly injured. Except Sammy, who looked- sticky.

Ah, Christof as well? Malodore nodded to the patchwork too, opening its beak in a smile. "We seem to have defeated it rather handily... I doubt it's a Hunter or other such beast. Do you smell that fragrance in the air? It reeks of JOY..." Just the scent of it brought Christmas Town to mind. Where it had first met Jericho... and Riley. Its gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "That was me, yes," it said with a nod at Jericho, its voice ringing with pride for a moment. "But... more of them? Ah..." It sighed. "I suppose this is probable. Shall we investigate, perhaps?" It glanced back to Sammy, sobering a bit. "Take care of yourself... I mislike these creatures, potentially fascinating though they may be." ((oh god))

And just like that, the battle had ceased for now. Shun moved away from the sickeningly strong peppermint barf. That reminded him a little too much of the minty water from the house. Ugh. Sneering, he slowly made his way back, keeping an eye on the rat.
"JOY... You guys sound like you have dealt with these things before," he said to the group in general, though he recalled Lizzy saying they had gone to Christmastown once, "What is the best way to dispose of them? That may be good to know."
Scanning the area, he managed to spot Hel, Mot, and Xiu. They all looked to be alright for the time being.

Oh, goodie. More fighting. Riley's deadpan voice responded to Jericho though her voice was public. It sounded completely devoid of anything, which made it sound startingly sarcastic. Malodore's hand-squeeze brought her attention back up to the plague doctor whose shoulder she rested her head on, and she nodded at its question.
You know, I think a proper investigation is in order. She gave it, and then Jericho, a rather startling impression of a mouthless grin. It will be like old times again.

Calder waved his hands to Barth. "No. No. You keep it. It just feels....chilly all of a sudden." He looked around, worried, but relieved when the Plague Doctor said it wasn't a Hunter. "What do you mean Joy?" Sadly, Calder had been lost after he left the train during their first first field trip and had not been educated on the matter.

"It's alright Mort, no need to apologize. I'm glad you made it though," the ghoul would have asked if the undead boil enjoyed the play but seeing how the situation was, that question would be reserved for later. The ghoul frowned at the mention of JOY by some of the older students in school. Had they experienced this sort of thing previously? "Have you encountered such a creature before?" she enquired of the black dog, fully aware it was a rhetorical question given how he had reacted. Still, the ghoul couldn't help but be curious as to where they had met one before.

As everyone chattered amongst themselves, Christof shifted, feeling more and more useless. He had barely gotten any blows in on the beast, had no natural way of chopping it up for Malodore's inspection... Barth was tended to by Calder, and he still hadn't seen a sign of Amrita since he had bolted from her... He limped his way down the isles of seats, scanning for her when he heard the soft, ominous noise from beyond the door. Something was out there. Something that wanted in.Was it another attack? His breathing quickened as he aimed for the door to the theater, hands sweating and trembling as he reached for the knob, prepared to destroy whatever lay on the other side as he ripped it open-

"Haha yeah. Only this time, we'll be on our own turf. Should we get going while the giant rat is out of it?" Jericho asked while flying closer towards the Plague Doctor and the Mindflayer. A part of him didn't want to abandon the other students while there was a potential threat so close. But.. there were a lot of them here. And just one rat. They should be fine... right?

Old times, indeed. Malodore opened its beak widely in the plague doctor equivalent of a HUGE smile. "Yesss. I believe some rematches are most assuredly in order... and perhaps this time I can kidnap an elf of my very own... with my laboratory so close... yesssssssss." SCIENCE. "Will you two be all right?" it inquired of Barth and Calder, bobbing its head. "I think checking on the rest of campus would be most wise... I hope they haven't gotten into the dorms. Luce will bite, but..."

Tybalt turned to look at the frost demon, as she spoke to him. She must be one of the students that had joined the school after that whole event. Most students were quite familiar with JOY creatures.
"Can't say I've seen this particular one, but yeah... Last year when we raided Christmas town for our 'field trip'" he rolled his eyes at the use of words. "we encountered all sorts of different JOY creatures." He snorted and wrinkled his nose. "The place stunk of that scent then too. Can't say I missed it." It was a vile scent.

I believe we should, yes. Riley nodded, distracted by the amusement of listening to Malodore in its excitement. It was endearing, just how much it was looking forward to this. Though, the thought of collecting a live elf to experiment on did excite Riley, as well. She hooked arms with Jericho, kept her other arm with Malodore, and waited for Calder and Barth to respond before leading them away to do some investigation.

Landing once more in the aisle, Jericho nodded to both Malodore and Riley. Experimenting didn't really interest him, but he did want to make sure his friends were alright as they sought knowledge. He'd play bodyguard. And transport as needed. "Alright. Let's get the Jack out of here," he said before leaving with the others.

Bul eyed the auditorium doors and gently rubbed Mei's arm. "We should probably get somewhere not so crowded. Plus the smell of that mint is just making me nauseous. What do you say?" he asked. Mostly he wanted to get away from that puke... and stretch his legs. He hadn't gotten a chance to do so all through the play.
