Well, not the series per se, but I have tried Other M and I have Fusion for my 3DS from the Ambassador thing.

Ohhhhh.... I only do the classics. Y'know, Metroid, Metroid II, Super Metroid. The FPS-style of the newer ones tend to keep me away... though I do play them. Just... not very much...

But I am down for playing the GBA ones.

I stay away from all the FPS games, especially those in the vein of Resident Evil, or fighting zombies or something. It's just something in them that drives me away, aside from the extreme amount of gore.

So, I was gonna post Voltblade's info and picture last night, but there was a thunderstorm, and I lost signal for the rest of the night. And now I just woke up and I have to go to work, so I don't have time. a;ldkvas;dlkmvass;ktha;smvna;k

I WILL get it up here tomorrow morning, though, as soon as I get home.

And finally, here he is!!! The first Zelda boss I ever created! I made this guy about two years ago... You guys don't know how happy I am to finally unveil him. ^__^

Boss
Name: Voltblade
Description: A gigantic electric Dragonfly with a blade on the tip of its tail.
Dungeon: Deku Mine (Deku Town)
Lair: Main chamber of 3F

Monster type: Insect
Appearance:
Banshee Coffinnightmare
Suddenly, out of the shadows flies a gigantic Dragonfly - much bigger than the ones they had seen throughout the mines, and with very noticeable differences. The colors of its body were red, green, yellow, and purple, swirling around in a tie-dye sort of way. Its humongous wings shone a bright purple as they fluttered up and down insanely fast. But the most noticeable trait, other than the blue and white electricity constantly surging around its body, was the tail. The end of the beast's tail formed a hard-as-steel hook-shape. The half of it at the base was relatively harmless, but the half that formed the tip of the hook was extremely sharp, and could be used as a blade, for slashing or stabbing.

User Image

Intelligence Rating: 3

Attacks and Attack Pattern:
He will mostly fly around randomly, but once he takes notice of one of the heroes, he will fly nearer to the floor of the chamber and attempt to stab his prey with a thrust from the blade of his tail. This will not only deal damage, but stun the victim for a short amount of time from the power of his electricity.
The key to battling Voltblade is getting him to the point that you can attack him without being harmed. This can prove to be rather difficult, since his constant electric barrier prevents any attack from reaching him, as well as giving a horrible shock, which can leave the victim stunned for several minutes, to anyone who touches him, even with a weapon. The barrier cannot be disabled by attack, but it can be blown away. Even without his electricity, he will not take much damage from attacks unless he is stunned. The Grappling Hook is the key to this; with the barrier down, it can latch onto the base of his blade, which will infuriate him, causing his eyes to turn from blue to red. Once this change occurs, hitting him in one of his eyes will stun him, causing him to fall to the floor for a moment, allowing him to be sufficiently damaged. Once he snaps out of it, though, his electric barrier will return, so it would be wise to keep a safe distance. He will then take wing once again, and continue his usual pattern. This will go on until he is destroyed.

However, once he has lost enough life, he will begin to slash downwards fiercely instead of stabbing, which will do much more damage, but can be avoided. If avoided successfully, the blade will become stuck in the ground, and he will break off his barrier while trying to focus on breaking free, and his eyes will also turn red due to the aggravation of his tail, thus he will be much more easily stunned.

Weaknesses:
Electric Barrier weakness - Strong gusts of wind.
Blade weakness - The blade on his tail cannot be harmed by any attack, or severed from his tail; however, it can be used as a sort of hook bar for the Grappling Hook, which is imperative to his defeat.
Main weakness - Just hit him while he's stunned!
Main HP: Approximately 3 hearts
Tail HP: Indestructible

Reward Level:
Heart Container x(number of participants)
??? x2

Got something to say.

For the time being, I have decided to get back into dungeon making, thanks to a floor planner for a different RP I have in mind. HOWEVER, this will not be Mountain Isles, but rather, the AoL section for the Temple of Memories.

I decided to google an image of a palace to use as a layout, but after seeing it, I feel a little...intimidated. Granted this is the Great Palace, but still...
I'm also debating another thing i believe we never resolved about the dungeon, and that was who gets what, if you guys are up for the other 2 styles.
I also just now thought of a method to travel between the styles. We all know the blue ring of light after a boss? Let's implement this, how 'bout?

Fun fact: did you know there's over 120 dungeons in the series so far?

Edit: Currently drawing up Felin's Sprite Sheet for the dungeon. I could do your guys' if you like.
Stuck on an AoL jump sprite. Currently no ideas...

Wow... Yeah, dude. Great Palace.... that was the fight of a lifetime. *sigh* I wish more people would give Adventure of Link the respect it deserves. The second son is always the least acknowledged in some series, it seems. Kind of ironic, I'm the second son in my family, and I can relate to many of those games. XP

Anywho.... I'd like the A Link to the Past style, but I'll wait for Iz to say what he wants. Also, I can do mine (it'll take an age, but I can do it! XD), but I'm sure Izzy wouldn't mind you doing his for him. ((EDIT: I just realized you were talking about sprites, not designing the dungeon... Yeah, I have no experience with that... sweatdrop ))

As for the 120 dungeons... I can believe it!!! XD

Also thought of something!

I can't believe it slipped my mind, but I have an idea for an optional "bonus area" in the dungeon that's in the handheld style (LA/Oracle games)
Just a small area, but like I said, optional.

Edit: wanna make a little note.

I have so many sprites of Felin, it's unbelievable.
The LoZ sprites take up about 1/5 or 1/6 of the current size of the picture. There's a total of 43 Sprites for that (O.o)
Combine those with the Aol sprites (which I'm not even finished yet!) and they take up just past half of the picture. Currently there's 31 AoL sprites.

And if you look at this sprite sheet, we've got a shitload ahead of us, even if we don't use half of them.

I should probably post the other two sheets I'm using to give you guys an idea.
Legend of Zelda And if you guys can tell me what those shockwaves are, that would be nice. For this one, it will save as a document; when you open it, select Windows Photo Viewer and it should be fine.
Zelda II: Adventure of Link I'm not including Shield Magic sprites, but I'll put in Dark Cave Sprites because there IS going to be an area in my section that's cavernous.

It's a load easier if you guys save these to your own documents, so you can zoom in and get each pixel in its proper place.

lawl, I had none either, until found the sheets I posted above. Then it was a simple matter of editing and customization.

So then would you like me to do your sprites, since you claim you suck, or would you still like to try your hand? (It is time-consuming, believe me; It's been 3 days so far for Felin alone, and probably another 3 or more just for ALttP)

WOAH, I can't believe how long it's been since I started doing sprites. Just recently reread this whole thread, but it's the sprites that caught my attention. I have to say, I'm STILL not done with Felin, though I have jumping and rolling sprites in mind, yet no idea on how to execute them.

I also have a slight idea on how to conquer my section of the Temple of Memories, and it functions similarly to how I've been spriting. (Just take a room size, copy and paste for additional rooms, and edit each layout individually) so easy, it's foolproof!
