Era & Ethfael & Riley

Two glimmering portals shimmered into existence amongst the last of the ones to arrive. One a shimmering ornate silver that a Dragonair slipped out of with a thoughtful expression on his face, the other a lovely blend of gold, brown, and black which deposited the trio of Era, Riley, and Keiran safely on the ground. The Pikachu and Eevee looked around in bewilderment, both scarcely believing that they were finally out of that seemly unending maze of challenges. The others there though, they were the rest of the Guild. There was little question that they had to be back in the same place as before. Which meant... "Ethfael!" Era's voice carried over to the dragon's ears in her delighted cry and he smiled as he spotted the others and came over to join them. "Thank goodness you're alright!" Era said, eyes shining with contentment to have her partner back again. Riley looked at Keiran with a knowing smile and shook his head, but really the Eevee was happy that his Leader was happy too. The Pikachu and the Dragonair began to exchange stories, and Riley looked around at the others to see that everyone must have been through something similar. At least, they all looked a little worse for the wear which would imply as much.

The instant the mirror appeared, all three members of Team MistMelody fell silent, their eyes fixated on it and drawn for different reasons. And then came the moment that they all had been waiting for, when the voice showed herself, and it effected each of them greatly. Riley took off his hat, feeling as though it was only right in the presence of such a great deity-like being; Ethfael looked at her with a level gaze but dipped his head, acknowledging that it was she who had done all of this and that they were next to nothing compared to her; and Era swayed on her feet, the words of a certain Gardevoir coming to mind as she looked at Cresslia, overcome by a feeling of awe and fear as she now realized that this was something they could not fail at any cost. Ethfael lifted his tail to steady his co-captain a bit and looked at her with concern, but Era's eyes were only for the Legendary before them. At her command the Pikachu's eyes glazed slightly with worry, but her ears twitched defiantly and she gave a nod of consent. She swallowed uncertainly and looked at the three boys around her, "You heard Cresselia," she murmured, "We have to do what she said." Keiran was off in the direction of another Guild member, a Chimchar it looked like, shortly after. Riley made as if to chase him but Era held a paw up and shook her head, "I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Keiran can fight his own battles if he needs to." Riley looked slightly stricken, especially as he watched the Riolu take a set of Fury Swipes to the face but he nodded slightly as he watched Keiran fight back with a Force Palm, hoping that the Fighting Type would be alright.

Era paused where she stood, looking back and forth in confusion. She didn't know what to attack, except that there was no chance that she was sending an attack toward Cresselia. Even if it didn't hurt her, even if she wanted them to show their strength in any way possible, the Pikachu couldn't bring herself to attack the Pokemon that they needed help from. On the other hand though, she couldn't just attack her Teammates, or anyone from the Guild. Ethfael however was on top of things. "Riley, let's spar." It wasn't a question but a command. Era looked aghast, and she was about to protest but Riley was too fast. He nodded once to Ethfael and then jumped forward towards the Dragonair who met his attack firmly. It was a delicate array of choreography; they fought viciously but never once did they land a blow that was hard enough to draw blood.

As they fought, Era looked on unhappily; she didn't want them to fight, she didn't want to fight anyone! Wasn't it a kind of strength all its own to be unwilling to hurt a friend? She converted her energy to sparks until she was a veritable ball of electricity that no one could come within a few feet of without receiving a nasty shock. The Pikachu looked about through her self-made sphere of lightning for a target, any target at all, but there wasn't anywhere safe. In desperation, she looked up at the seemingly unending white sky. That would have to do if anything would. She let the sparks fly upward, looking rather like lightning itself. Hopefully it would be good enough to impress Cresselia, without having to hurt anyone in the process.

User Image~Locke

Locke noted and was ready to react to how poorly he was spoken at by that damn Chimchar when Cresselia appeared and made her announcement which filled the Ralts with far better ideas. There was absolutely no complaint from the Psychic type when Celeste made the first move. Granted he would have loved that honor for himself, but with the same intentions in mind their sparring session was going to be nothing less than fully enjoyed. With his hate for Chimchar as a species escalating after he barely managed to dodge her Fire Spin, it was all the better to see she was cocky enough to take up another opponent along with the enemy she had already made of himself. He had no idea who this Riolu was, but for the time being he found himself with an ally of sorts at the very least.
Waiting for a break between their physical sparring, Locke sought his revenge. With all the energy the small Ralts could muster, he unleashed a Psychic attack upon Celeste. Not intending to do any damage himself, but rather his attack stunned the Fire type in place, creating a barrier conforming to the primate's body which froze her in place temporarily.
"She's all yours!"
He called out to the unnamed Riolu in his vicinity who seemed to be just as irked at the Chimchar as he was. Giving him an open shot like this had to be a treat of a lifetime.
"Unsure how much longer I can hold this up though."
He was beginning to wince under the sheer amounts of concentration which were necessary to hold up his attack, adding a sense of urgency upon the Riolu to take action.

Kaiyou & Celeste & Keiran & Gary

Celeste let out a violent hiss of fury, struggling within the confines of the barrier. She could barely move, the barrier seeming to cut off even her breathing, at its worst. She snarled as best she could, the fire within trying to break free of the trap.
'Filthy coward!' Her voice was muted, trapped by the same barrier that she was. Nothing could prevent her from thinking the insults, however.

Keiran froze, glancing from Locke to Celeste, and back again. His teal eyes were wide with shock and confusion. He could feel pain searing through the side of his face, just as he imagined it would in real life. Celeste had attacked him. Not through the sport of the trial, but out of sheer hatred. She hated him, and the look in her eyes now was hard to ignore.
At the same time... how could he attack her back. It was one thing to thrust her away from him, but it was another thing entirely to attack her when she was bound by someone else. It would be like kicking a prisoner in chains. It was cruel. How could he claim her actions to be wrong, if he met them blow for blow?
He was snapped from his thoughts, as Celeste quickly broke free from the barrier. Keiran's fur stood on end, as almost immediately the fight continued.

Celeste felt pride and hatred burn in her chest. She'd broken free by far more quickly than the Ralts had expected, and now they would both pay for their mistakes. She would tear them limb from limb, if that was what it took. The Ralts for being a brat, and her slave for his disobedience and interference.
She blasted a Flamethrower, the fire spilling from her throat in waves, and dancing around the feet of her enemies.

Keiran, already used to the torturous heat of fire, merely leaped through them with Endure, tackling Celeste head on, and pinning her to the ground.The pair rolled, and Keiran let out a startled hiss of pain as she slammed his shoulder into the ashes.
A Copycat allowed him to do the same as Celeste had, releasing a jet of flames into the Chimchar's face. Startled, she released her grip, and the Riolu hurriedly kicked the searing ashes into her eyes, trying to shake her off again. His wrists seared with pain; her sharp claws had dug into his skin, breaking through the thin barrier of fur.

Celeste cried out, stumbling backward into the Ralts behind her, and spun to lash out at him. Blindly Fury Swiping any solid form around her. She blinked the ashes from her eyes, though her vision was still blurred, and was by far more than a little surprised when a powerful Force Palm struck her square between the shoulder blades.
She spun on the Riolu once again, a Fire Spin arising to force the Psychic type away again, and both un-evolved adults were once again locked in a hate-filled tangle of limbs. This time, she managed to pin him to the ground, eyes blazing with anger, and Scratched him across the face. She felt her insides twist with sickening pride as she heard him cry out. He thrashed, trying to throw her off of him, but she held him tightly enough that he couldn't draw his hind legs between them, or shift the position of his arms and shoulders.
"C-Celeste! Sto-" His rasping, pained voice was sharply cut off as her hand wrapped tightly around his throat, closing ever more tightly.

Keiran's throat was searing. Everything hurt, and his vision was blurring fast. He needed to get away. Aura burned inside him, swirling with energy, and he managed to choke out one final attack.
Reversal broke through her grasp, and sent her flying across the floor like a limp doll. Keiran stayed where he was, gasping for breath. Oxygen had never felt so precious.

Anubis + Eros + Isis

Eros blinked as he noticed everybody start to fight, whether it was amongst themselves or against the seemingly invincible Cresselia who didn't look as if she even flinched, which would mean, "This is a dream?"
Isis rolled her eyes at her team leader and sighed, "Of course it is. You don't think all this could happen in reality. Did you?"
Eros just shrugged.
Anubis glared at his two team-mates, "Well? Should we attack her or us?" Really he would like either way.
Eros just glanced, "Umm...Let's attack her? I mean, I'd rather us not fight each other."
Isis snickered, "That's right we do that every day." Getting in a ready position she took aim at Cresselia and gathering her energy together let loose a large 'beam' of Dragon Breath.
Eros meanwhile giggled and grabbed a nail, which Isis looked on disapprovingly as Eros slammed it into his eye which caused her to wince at the sheer look of it, oh how she hated Eros' Curse attack, Eros meanwhile after using Curse on Cresselia fired off a volley of Shadow Ball at the legendary.
Not wanting to be left out of the fun Anubis hyped himself up with Agility before aiming a Blaze Kick at Cresselia due to the extra speed.

Morana && Veritas

"Oof" Veritas and Morana tumbled out of their mirror. Neither looked hurt but both seemed exhausted. The two simply laid there for several moments, collecting their strength for whatever came next.

And then Cresselia tells them to go all out, lovely. So everyone else broke out into fights in one form or another. But the two of them had already shown their best, all they had, in that damn dungeon. That place had been hell. Veritas didn't know if she had any electricity left in her.

"I knew we should have saved some of our strength." Veritas grunted, struggling to her feet. Morana got up next to her, legs shaking.

"Let's...just put everything into one last attack."
Morana suggested, flicking her gaze upwards. It doesn't look like firing attacks at Cresselia is going to do anything, and neither of them felt like getting into a fight of any sort. Just show Cresselia their power and then they can take a nap.

Veritas nodded, a haze of blue light gathering in her throat accompanied. Morana gathered flames at the back of hers. Both shot their attacks upwards at the same time, the Jolteon's Dragon Pulse fired off as a small ball of energy, making a high-pitched whining sound as it shot through the air. Trailing behind it was a stream of fire that tapered out as it went higher and higher until it was gone.

Then both of them immediately sat down. They need a rest.

Atra got ejected from his mirror rather violently, as he came out sideways, hit the ground, and slid a few feet before coming to a stop. The Flareon's fur was matted with mud and blood, his limbs twitched spasmodically as sparks danced through him, and he was breathing heavily. He something clattered next to him, having also flown out of the mirror, a large blue rectangular plate.

"Damn you, making me fight that b*****d again." He cursed with a shaky voice as the Icicle Plate shrunk down to its regular shape and size of a small crystal. The Flareon rolled over back onto his belly, slipping the pendant over his head, and shakily pushed himself up to his feet. He favoured his front right leg heavily, but he stood his ground.

His eyes narrowed as Cresselia appeared. Oh, she was going down. The Flareon disappeared in the blur of a shadow, and reappeared a split second later behind Cresselia, slamming into her with a Shadow Force. The momentum of his attack sent him flying into the ground, where he tried to roll out of to get back on his feet but-

"ARGH!" Wooops, forgot about the broken leg there now did we idiot?

Solaris
& Cresselia

Cresselia's gaze swept across the guild, unblinking yet constantly aware of each and every action.
Solaris's eyes slowly moved across his guild and back to the Legendary. He would put up another attack if he had the energy, but he was far from capable of putting out anything else of significance. Even if he were to force another attack at this point it would no doubt fall far short of it's target. All he could do was watch with bated breath.
They needed this. Darkrai was the real deal and they weren't going to be able to fight him head on, not without a lot of death.
"Satisfactory."
It wouldn't be impossible to deal with him, though... Grandpa was helping them and he did it once before so he could probably do it again.
"I may yet see you all again in the coming times."
Orion wasn't nearly as strong as he used to be though and wait, what?
Solaris stepped forward, eager but apprehensive about what he had just heard.
"So does that mean that you--"
And that would be the last thing anyone heard from Solaris before a deep, deep darkness overtook them.

*****

Nova ran around what had become a veritable mess as she constantly checked up on different pokemon.
She hadn't been quite sure what to make of it when a random pokemon came and told her half the guild had fallen asleep in the same place, but she was glad she had came. The Roserade had woken up her entire medical staff and from the looks of it she had drawn in a number of uneasy looking volunteers to help keep an eye on everyone. She didn't know what was going on so she wasn't about to start shooting drugs into everyone but between her and her staff everyone on the hall was carefully monitored.
When she first heard the groan, she rushed over only to hear many more as the entire guild woke up in perfect unison save a few exceptions.
Solaris and a single team were still asleep.
The Roserade could only be relieved and then confused in quick succession.
"What happened? Is everyone alright?"

Anubis + Eros + Isis

Eros panted as his eye quickly regenerated as he noticed Cresselia had started to talk, so this was over right? Satisfactory meant it was over?
Isis blinked as she noticed her vision growing dark.
The three members of Team Olympus had been overtaken by the darkness.

--

Anubis groaned as he sat up, now in the...guild? Was this the guild? Yeah...they looked to be in the hall where they were. so it WAS a dream, "Well, huh." That was interesting.
Isis was the next to wake up, looking around with a yawn as she rubbed at her eyes, "...Is this real?" She hoped this was, unless that golden looking Roserade was a new challenge or whatever.
Eros was the last member of the team to wake up and smiled blearily at the fact they were now safe and sound at the guild, "That, was such a trip." He then looked around for Aiden and Harumi, "...?"

Harumi - Aiden

The two vulpine Pokemon began to shift and stir with the rest of the guild.
"Ugh... my head..." Harumi muttered as she began to stagger to her feet.
This whole thing pretty much cemented one thing in the Eevee's mind; never do drugs, ever.
"Man... When we're done with Cresselia's help, I'm gonna ask Solaris if I can kill her myself. Crazy b***h..."
You'd have to be out of your mind to make so many Pokemon go through so much s**t just to prove worthiness.
"Yeeeaaaah... agreed..." Harumi replied, shaking her head to get it straight again.
Glancing around, she noticed Eros and Isis.
With a little smile, she stumbled over to them.
"Hey, you guys are welcome to visit us any time you like," She said before glancing up to Eros.
"Just... be careful..."
Aiden soon joined behind her as they waited for their rewards for this hectic mission.

Era & Ethfael & Riley

The two male members of Team MistMelody present fought as easily as if they were foes. It wasn't the first time this had happened after all, and neither could forget it, but they worked very hard to keep from doing anything terribly harmful. However, on the other hand, both of them had alterior motives that made the fighting far easier than what it should have been for two close Teammates. Ethfael tapped into the resentment that still lingered faintly in the scars that covered his body from the Eevee's claws and the competition he felt whenever the Normal Type pulled something with Era; Riley's fight came from his other self, which numbed his emotions and threatened to pull him under, may have succeeded if it weren't for what he had just recently experienced, but certainly made battle a simple task. The two fought tooth and claw, fire and card, air and magic, and neither one seemed to tire or be willing to draw back until the voice of the Legendary rang through the area, with it an unspoken order to cease their actions. Both turned to look at Cresselia, sides heaving as they panted, and a feeling of sudden, draining exhaustion swept over the two.

Era too ceased her lightning's flow and felt the pull of all that she had been through while she was here. Battles and voices and near-death experiences were a great deal to face all in such a short time-span. Her last attack had worn her down, she'd given her all with that and the recoil was far from merciful. Cresselia's words though, they were enough to give the Pikachu a new-found hope, to stir the embers of hope that had started to grow dormant within her. She would consider it, oh Arceus she would consider it! They needed her help so deperately that even a consideration was many steps from where they had been before. Only time could tell then: time would either meet their hopes or crush them. Solaris seemed to be thinking along the same lines as she was, or so the Espeon's words implied but she didn't even get to hear him finish his thought before she was plunged into sudden darkness without warning...

~~~~~
There was a muffled groan from Era as she blinked her eyes open only to close them again at the light of the hall. This was familiar...they must be back at the Guild. She glanced down at her paws and found that they were their normal yellow color once more which was a pleasant surprise. The Pikachu tried to turn but found that she couldn't due to being snuggly nestled somewhere smooth and a familiar blue... Era's eyes widened with surprise and she began to wriggle to try to get out, her face tinged with a blush of embarrassment. The blue form began to move and there was a soft sigh as Ethfael awoke, opening his eyes to find his partner, who froze upon their eye contact, right before them. Flustered and somewhat embarrassed, the Dragonair and the Pikachu held eye contact, neither of them moving and both of them thinking about how very close their faces were right now. There was a gap of less than an inch, if either of them so much as leaned forward slightly- "Wake up sleepyheads!" Riley's voice startled them both and cut through the thought, "We're back!" Ethfael turned to look at him and Era let out a silent sigh of relief that they weren't in the uncomfortable position of before any longer. At the same time though, there was some small part of her that was disappointed, and she wasn't entirely certain what to think of that.
Ethfael uncoiled himself from around Era inconspicuously as he turned to Riley. "It would seem that way, wouldn't it?" he replied softly, straightening up and looking about at the rest of the Guild. All were stirring except for Solaris and a certain Team who he had seen around a few times as of late. All of it then, it had all been a dream. It made sense, he supposed, as Cresselia was the Legendary of dreams just as her counterpart, Darkrai himself, was the Legendary of nightmares; yet there was something disconcerting about the whole thing. If it was a dream, did it really happen? Of course it really happened, clearly it did because they others seemed as puzzled as he was and they all had been there, like a shared dream. But it hadn't happened all the same. He shook his head slightly; the whole affair was terribly puzzling, but now wasn't the time to think about it in great detail.
Era got to her paws as Ethfael moved to let her out of his coils. She smoothed back her fur which was ruffled here and there from her awkward sleeping position and her bright eyes perused the area, pinpointing the Roserade that was tending to the Pokemon all around. In fact there were multiple Pokemon who hadn't been in their "dream" who were asking to see if everyone was alright, likely on the Roserade's orders. It brought a smile to the Pikachu's face to see the doctor again, she'd never gotten the other Pokemon's name but she vaguely knew her at least. The Dual Type wasn't that far from her, so Era picked up on the question being asked and approached the Roserade with a slight smile. "It was Cresselia," she informed the medical worker in a serious tone, "She must have brought us all into a sort of shared dream and she claimed to want to have us prove our worth to her. Physically, I think everyone's fine. I doubt Cresselia would have a dream hurt us for real, though it might be a bit mentally fatiguing, I'm not quite sure yet." In the last statement she used her own condition for an answer. Nothing hurt, she just felt...odd, like she'd lived through something that never happened. Dream time was quite different from time in real life after all. That and, although she'd slept, she didn't feel very rested. It was peculiar indeed.
Locke exhausted himself with a plethora of well timed Teleports in attempt to dodge the fury of attacks aimed in his direction by a certain Chimchar. By the time he found himself on solid ground and had caught his breath, his sparring group, which he was beginning to think that they were taking things a little too seriously, were all separated and apparently injured in their own ways. He would have gladly made his way over to that Riolu and proceeded to give him a well deserved pat on the back, but before he knew it the world had grown black, and with the opening of his eyes he found himself outside of the guild surrounded by a multitude of other, just awakening, Pokemon. There was a sigh of relief once the realization was made that he was no longer pink in color.
Raven was close to follow, suddenly coming back to consciousness with a rush of life into his previously limp body. Peering around he was rather confused by the events that had lead up to where he was now. Moments ago, many of his fellow guildians were pitted against eachother, his son included in a barbaric showing of power. He saw no need in participating in such nonsense himself. For now though, it seemed no one was physically injured in this mess at least.
User Image~Finian
Finian awoke with a headache from the stress he had just undergone. Usually after events like this they were presented with some sort of reward for their job well done. This time should be better than ever seeing as half the guild wouldn't be as nocturnally inclined as he was and happenings that ran into this hour of the morn weren't exactly enjoyed accordingly. The Absol began to question if they were even getting rewarded at all? Perhaps if that was the case he was still dreaming. Would he have to somehow wake himself up again just to get back to reality? Were these Pokemon around him even real? Finian exchanged shifty glances with the guildians in his immediate vicinity.
Kaiyou & Gary
Kaiyou awoke with a start. The feeling of water and energy surging through his body had disappeared entirely, leaving him with a bizarre sensation of exhaustion. He glanced around him, not entirely sure of exactly where he now was, and it took him a little bit to understand that he was exactly where he'd been on arrival. The guild's main hall.
Raven and Locke were awaking around him, and Kai managed to draw himself upright. His legs trembled a little at first, the feeling of drowsiness settling in. A plump, pink tail flopped down between his eyes, and the Swampert chuckled, pulling the Slowpoke gently off of his head. Gary was already awake, and had been fading in and out of consciousness on a regular basis. The Slowpoke was clearly very skilled, when it came to sleeping.
Raven was beside him, looking disapproving and disgruntled. "Cheer up, Raven. I don't think they expect us to hang around for much longer," the Water-type comforted, although he himself was still hoping far more for the chance to get a good night's sleep.
User Image User Image
Celeste & Keiran
Celeste and Keiran, both already as good as blacked out, had little trouble slipping from the dream. The Riolu could feel the aches and exhaustion settling into his bones, and his eyes slid shut as the world seemed to close in around him.
When he awoke, a soft groan escaped his lips. Though the pain had dulled, he still felt the muted echoes of its presence. A rough hand grasped the back of his neck, and a weary, unfuriated Chimchar dragged him onto his feet by the scruff. Her teeth were bared in a snarl, and he met the gaze with an expression of equal ferocity. It was very clear now, why Keiran had freaked out at Era for pulling him by the neck. Similar gestures were instilled in his mind to be a threat, for obvious reasons.
As she readied a fist to strike him, he kicked sharply downward, his foot crushing down on top of hers. With a startled hiss, Keiran was dropped, and the exhausted Fighting-type immediately used a Force Palm to push the Chimchar away once more.
As she stumbled back, she was immediately surrounded by a couple of volunteer workers, trying to determine if she was alright. It was only then that Keiran realized he was back, and he moved off as quickly as his aching form could manage. Once those workers cleared out, he didn't want to be within Celeste's range of sight. He'd had enough of fighting, for one day.
As he walked, he came to the disturbing realization that he had nowhere to go. With relations having fully dissolved between himself and Celeste, there was nowhere to go. Team Epsilon was registered with the guilds under her name, not his. He was alone. With a faint sigh of exhaustion, he headed for a more secluded part of the guild. With any luck, he could find a corner to hide himself away, and spend the night. He could worry about finding food or a proper shelter tomorrow. He just needed rest.
He spotted Era, Ethfael, and Riley a little further away. They were waking, as well, though none of them seemed particularly rested. Faint echoes of Era's voice seemed to settle in the air, and he managed a faint and weary smile. Of course she'd already be trying to help. He couldn't think of the Pikachu not helping; it just wouldn't make sense. Still, he felt a little worried about the trio, if only because he hadn't the chance to really check if they were okay, before he was drawn back up into a whirlwind of Celeste-style nonsense and violence.
Worried for the trio that had shown him kindness through that nightmare, and without a place to go, he made his way toward them. The crowd pretty much left him alone, as everyone by now was either awake, or being carefully examined. "...You guys okay?" His voice was quiet and tentative, unsure if his presence was still welcomed.
The side of his face still stung a little bit, though he knew that Celeste's claws couldn't have hurt him through a dream. Cresselia's nightmare of a trial worked in far too many strange ways. Still, it was a fair enough reminder of all the violence he had to try and leave behind.
Celeste watched him leave with a scathing glare, but didn't follow. With so many Pokemon around them, a suitable punishment was impossible. She would have to have him dispatched, one way or another. For now, it had taken enough energy to get rid of the annoying and "helpful" creatures that had tried to calm her. She was firm in the belief that they were thoroughly annoying.
The Chimchar made her way to her team room on her own, tail flame nearly diminished entirely.
Solaris
& Cresselia
"--'ll help us!?"
Cresselia remained unresponsive for a moment, her gaze pointed downwards at the Espeon. Solaris glanced about, suddenly aware of the almost deafening silence that had taken the area. His guild, previously behind him, had disappeared entirely leaving only the sound of the pounding of his heart.
"Solaris. You have a guild full of children. So long as your are within this realm, my control is absolute with only one exception. Your guild is filled with individuals far too flawed and weak for what lies ahead of them. Some are petty, others are unaware, some know yet refuse to face the reality that lies ahead of them. If they fully knew and recognized what lay before them, there is little doubt they would flee in an instant."
That... that sounded really bad. Solaris opened his mouth to speak, but even as the air plucked his vocal cords and escaped his mouth, no sound erupted. The Legendary merely continued to speak.
"But... as I said, my control is absolute. I sought out more than just their capabilities. Your mind paints a fractured, incomplete and incredibly biased picture of the world around you but your guild as a whole was much more informative. Your claims that you had powerful allies were far from false and the other guilds seem much more professionally trained."
The Espeon's mouth half-opened again in reflex only to snap back shut as he understood why he could not speak
"I will help you, but it will not be haphazardly. I shall wait and observe. When it is the time, I shall strike and restore the balance between our two forces. Do not depend on me, Solaris."
The Espeon swallowed carefully and nodded deeply.
"Thank you. Your help is invaluable."
Cresselia gave a stiff nod before the world began to fade.
"I've taken the liberty of putting a few of your guild members to sleep. A team of young children, mostly. They'll remain in a dream of sorts for the time being. I'd rather they not act as a liability in the coming times."
Solaris nearly protested but the Espeon bit his tongue. He didn't like it, but everything in his body was telling him not to anger Cresselia.
"I'll be keeping an eye on you, Solaris."
*****
Solaris's eyes opened slowly and groggily as the world came back. He was laying on his side and his guild was awake and pretty much everyone was staring at him--OH RIGHT.
The memories came rushing back through the brief black spot of unconsciousness and though a little annoyed he couldn't hide his elation.
"She'll help us."
The announcement came out loudly and harshly against the quiet, tired crowd but Solaris didn't really care.
"Good job everyone. Head back to your team rooms and get some rest. You'll have your rewards in the morning."
He was half tempted to skip back to his room and get a nice night of non-magical non-pink sleep, but he could see Nova out of the corner of his eye. They would need to find somewhere to store the sleeping team for now before moving them to a more permanent, safe location.
Anubis + Eros + Isis
Isis grinned, "Thanks Harumi. You know...you aren't too bad." She then glared at her Team Leader, "Wish everyone I knew was more like that." She finished in a teasing way as Eros just huffed and rolled his eyes.
Eros nodded at Harumi, "Ye-yeah...I'll keep our conversation in umm...mind." He then looked to Aiden and nodded in a way of saying bye, "It was...interesting working with you two."
Anubis just coughed as he began to walk away from this little scene just as Solaris called out that Cresselia would help them, the demonic Riolu just shivered as his evil looking red aura lessened in intensity, too much good will for him to bear. Too much.
Isis just coughed as she started to glow a bit before it faded, blinking a bit at the phenomenon she shivered as she felt...different. She then took a greyish looking contact lens that she remembered she had, "Oh...I forgot about this. Wonder what it does"
(( Woo~ MP~ <3 One step closer to evo~ <333 Oh and I took the Moonlight TM and Isis now has her DW ability. Also the snarky Smoochum used the teams grey contact lens just 'cause I needed to RP it somehow. XD ))
Era & Ethfael & Riley
Ethfael and Riley watched Era approach the Roserade and mention the situation to her. It wasn't very obvious whether the Pikachu had been heard or not, for Solaris awoke almost immediately after and announced the result of their endeavors of the evening. Upon the Espeon's words, Era swayed on the spot out of the sheer force of relief. Thank goodness, they had Cresselia's help. There weren't words to describe her gratitude for having heard those words, even if they were a bit harsh on her tired ears. She turned on the spot and came back to the other two with a smile that brightened her face. "Did you hear? She'll help us!" the Pikachu said joyfully, positively radiant with happiness as though a worry that had been on her shoulders had been lifted suddenly off.
Before Era had turned back, Riley was the first to respond to Keiran's question after Solaris' (undeniably good) interruption. "Well, we're all in one piece," he said happily, which was supported by a nod from Ethfael, "A little tired but nothing a good night's sleep can't fix if you ask me." The Eevee was clearly happy to see the Riolu again, and glad that he was alright after the fight he'd seen the Fighting Type engage in. Though Ethfael didn't know the other Pokemon very well, he still gave a somewhat friendly nod to Keiran for having helped Era and Riley on their challenge, whatever it had been. As Era came back, Riley turned to face her and he nodded, tail waving happily, "Yes, we did," he said contentedly, "I'm glad that we were able to convince her."
Ethfael gave his consent as well. "Yes, it's good to know that our efforts weren't in vain," he murmured with a far-away look in his eye. He listened with a quiet acknowledgment to Solaris' order to return back and looked down to the other two, only to find them conversing with the Riolu. The Dragonair stayed a respectful distance from the conversation since he wasn't exactly involved, but he didn't rush them.
Era's eyes turned to Keiran after she came back, buoyant with the happy news, and she smiled warmly at him. "It's good to see you're doing alright too Keiran," she said cheerfully, her wings glowing softly in a reflection of her mood as they hadn't been able to in the odd Dream World. She was pleased that he didn't seem to be in too bad of shape after the whole ordeal, and looked him over curiously, taking in his new, or rather original, color. "Black suits you better than pink," she remarked amiably, still smiling. The rest of the Guild was beginning to file out by now, but Keiran still stayed with them, causing a question to form in Era's mind. She'd never seen their Riolu friend with another group throughout this whole ordeal, and the only time he hadn't been with them was when he'd been fighting that Chimchar. A slight frown came to her lips that was more pensive than upset. "Keiran...where's your Team?" she inquired, looking at him questioningly.
Celeste & Keiran
Keiran sighed with relief, managing a tired smile in response to the enthusiasm with which he was greeted. This team, although not full of boundless energy, as he'd seen with some of the younger Pokemon, seemed to be just happy to see a friendly face of any kind. It was admittedly a joy, to be welcomed like this. He didn't want to have been pushed away, at the moment, tired as he was, and as he was sure they must be.
"A good night's sleep sounds like a good idea," he agreed, once again pressing back the question of his lodgings, for the night. Surely the guild could provide somewhere warm and secluded to curl up, for just the night. He didn't have the money to pay for it, as Celeste hoarded the payments granted to Team Epsilon, but surely there was something he could manage.
He smiled at the mention of his former coloration. He had to agree; pink was certainly not to his tastes, when it came to his fur. Was a nice enough colour, just not on himself. Era, on the other hand, seemed just as adorable as she was, now. "Thank you. I have to admit that the gold suits you well, also." He couldn't help but return the compliment, despite how strangely cute a pink Pikachu was. Gold really did suit her more, with the shimmering of her wings. It was like sunlight.
The smile faded from his face at the mention of his "team". Team Epsilon, despite being an official team, did not act like one. It was a more of a dictatorship, and he represented the entire population being oppressed.
Wordlessly, he gestured at the retreating form of the infuriated Chimchar. "Celeste's team captain," he began, as though it explained everything. It did, in truth, but that wasn't really the point. "I'm not certain that returning home tonight would be-" -safe on any level. "-...appropriate." He hoped to Arceus that none of them had witnessed too much of his fight with Celeste, though he had a sinking feeling that someone around them did. He was well aware of the murmurs in the crowd, discussing the insanity of a certain Fire-type.
"....nearly strangled him..."
"...wouldn't want that for a partner..."
The Riolu shuffled his feet awkwardly, shooting the passing group of Pokemon an awkward look. "She is rather... oppressive, at times. I just wanted to say goodbye, before I tried to arrange for somewhere to stay tonight." Nervous and shaky, again. Out of the dream, it was difficult not to be submissive, again. Especially with Celeste still within range of sight.
{{ Celeste now has the Ability "Iron Fist", replacing her previous one. ("Blaze") }}
