Sapphire's expression had switched from surprise to confusion as well.
Rosie carefully drug both bags of candy across the floor behind her as she made her way over to the group. She slid them up to the corner of the couch and dropped them there. She dug around in the top of the pillow bag, pulled out a candy bar, and started munching down on it.

C.J. turned to Sapphire with a reassuring look. As if to say "don't worry, hon. I got this." and turned back to the Joker, waiting for his response.

Arell and C.J. got eye contact. C.J. was just biding his time, waiting to call the clown's bluff.

Arell thought and then asked. "Well, I can't say I evah met some a' yer prestige face-to-face befo', what's it like bein' protrayed in de movies?" Arell asked. The big Cajun remembered seeing the Joker in the Batman movies in the local drive-ins.

Joker rolled his eyes, his face turning serious. "It would be MUCH more flattering if they could just GET IT RIGHT. Jackie had a frozen smile, and as you can see, I'm not smiling right now. And Heath Ledger... DON'T get me started on THAT appearance travesty." Then, he had another thought, his head tilting a little forward, not really looking at anyone as he spoke, continuing with, "Although, those facts ARE offset by both the resurgences in MY popularity, as well as getting voiced by Mark Hamill in cartoons and video games, so... Yeah. Depends on the material." He then looked Arell in the eyes and smiled. "Does that answer your question?"

The Cajun shrugged and nodded. "Works fer me. Kinda reminds me t' get that Nintendo fixed once I get back to Louisiana." he mused, thinking.
"Huh, pretty neat you know about Mark's role." C.J. said with a smirk. Back in his world, he saw the Joker on TV with Mark. He preferred that version, though Jackie was funny.

Sapphire frowned a little. Of course...so did she want to say something she'd regret, or do something she'd regret? After the encounters she had with Joker, she didn't trust the man. At all.
"Hmm...well, I feel like I've already had a dare. Do I get to switch my choice if I don't like what you ask for?"

"Oh, I think that should be decided by the whole group," the clown said, waving his arms to indicate everyone in the circle. Not once did his eyes leave Sapph's. "So, should we make that an option?"

"I'd prefer it." Sapphire replied, keeping her eyes locked with his.
"I'll second that then." Alex added. This seemed like one of those 'stick together' kind of things, so she was going to side with Saph. No matter how much fun it was when switching options WASN'T allowed.
"I'll hold off until everyone else has their say." C.C. replied, curling up on the chair he was lying on. He liked being the wild card anyway.
"Me too." Rosie replied between bites of candy.

Alright, so that was two to one. And there were four votes left. The little one would probably side with Joker, so might as well say they were even. That just left the two men and the two cats.
