Mira pursed her lips and looked back up at Cole.
She was almost about to say thank you without thinking, but stopped herself just in time.
"Well, if you insist," she said instead, taking the tickets and then turning to head to the counter to exchange the tickets for the item.
Mira glanced back at Cole. "Are you coming?"

Mira smiled slyly as she looked up at the display, already in the process of choosing things to get.
She then pointed at the gigantic stuffed tiger at the top.
It looked to be almost the size of a chair or something.
"Aaaand that one too," she told the person at the counter, handing her the tickets.
As the tiger plushie was brought down, Mira turned to Cole.
"You can help me carry things then!!~" she said cheerfully, gesturing to the bag that was on the counter.
The bag was heavier than it looked though.

"I think Tina will like what I brought back for her..." she said with a bit of a smirk on her face as she headed for the door. She opened the door, not bothering to hold it open for Cole as she went. {exit to Dorm 31}

Cole really considered looking in the bag to see what he was carrying. He really wasn't sure what he was carrying, or if it was safe to carry. Cole ignored his thoughts and followed Mira out the door, catching it with his foot and then following her.

The Rebellious Sophomore The Mexican girl was caught by surprise when her brother dragged her out of the café and to the arcade. The last time she was dragged by family was during the 1800s, they would do that whenever they see a new animal or a churro seller. That was so cute. It made her wish those times would never end. So, why did they have to?
"Look at all the old school games. I like it. Not just the video games, but they also have stuff like whack-a-mole and basketball. We can even win tickets to get prizes." she said as she looked around for the Tekken game. She saw marvel vs Capcom, but she planned to save it for later "Ah, there it is. We'll need to get tokens though." she said as she checked her wallet "Hmm... I have enough for a couple of games and lunch. You going to get tokens, mang?" Estados Unidos Mexicanos

Landon gazed around at all the games eagerly. The last time he had been here was with Washington and his girlfriend. The Whack-a-Mole game caught his attention immediately, but it seemed that Maria wanted to play Tekken first. "Yeah, I'll get some tokens, too," he told her, rummaging around in his backpack. After poking around in his wallet, he pulled out a few singles. "This ought to be enough to kick your digital butt at least once!"

When it comes to arcade games, I rule." she said as she exchanged her dollars for tokens via machine "I may not own video games, but I would go to the arcade whenever it's my break time. Something about kicking virtual a** just makes me smile, ese." she said as she grabbed the tokens "Heh, you know, mang? "Well, guess what?" Landon shot back. "Me too!" Trailing Maria over to the token machine, he copied her and then led her to the Tekken machine. The state had been just about to drop a coin in when Mexico asked her question. Distracted, he paused and shrugged. "A game's a game," he answered. "Granted, arcade games are somewhat dated compared to what the Big Three are turning out annually, but... I dunno. Arcade games just have a different feel to them that keeps me coming back. Maybe it's the retro-ness." Landon frowned. Darn Washington had stolen Nintendo's and Microsoft's headquarters away from him, but at least he had Sony and Apple.
Landon dropped his coins in and seized the controls while Maria did the same. He bounced up and down on the balls of his feet. "Let's see who's better than who now, yo!" he exclaimed eagerly. And off they went.
... About three dollars and six games later, California was ready to hurl his controller at the screen. "Dang it, you!" he complained. "Why do you have to be so good at this?! You won't beat me next game, I promise!" The state stomped away from the machine with a huff and finally halted in front of the Whack-a-Mole machine. "Wanna see who can hit more?" he asked. "Best of three." After too many defeats at Maria's virtual hands, Landon was ready to vent his frustrations into this hapless machine.

several games later, she was declared the victor "Now, hermanito. I have taught you to never underestimate your opponent, remember? Your cockiness was the cause of your defeat." There was no real secret, all she did was mash buttons blindly, but he didn't have to know that. For now, let him think she was the best in fighting games. She turned her head when she saw Landon head to the whack-a-mole game "Oh, it's been a while since I've played that game. I like any game that involves hitting things." she said as she grabbed the mallet "How about this? Whoever loses after a series of games has to buy lunch later. Winner gets bragging rights, ese." The US State of Connecticut. ‘’Oh Come Nathan dear, you had your coffee you shouldn’t want to sleep.’’ A ginger girl girl smiled bright as she lead her quiet brother into the arcade. ‘’It’ll be just like the when we used to play at the Willows!’’ she girl said excitedly. The boy who was being dragged shrugged. ‘’Debby You stole my coffee before i could drink it. You drank it right in front of me...’’ he sighed. Debby smiled and linked arms with Nathan. ‘’Well you should have fought me for it, Come on little brother you gotta get used to fighting!.’’ Connecticut sighed once more. He knew how to fight and could easily beat his sister, if it wasn’t for the fact that she was his older sister and he didn’t have the courage to fight her. ‘’I do fight..’’ he muttered. ‘’Just not over Coffee…’’ he frowned.
Massachusetts laughed at her brothers comment. ‘’The only coffee we should fight over is the DukenDounts and Starbucks coffee war. It shouldn't be much of a war, Dunkin Donuts is far better!.’’ The girls green eyes scanned the arcade. She saw two familiar faces, Landon; Her west coast Step-brother. Mexico; Alfreds Southern neighbor. Quickly the two got very quiet…Both of them being from the North, they were not very friendly.

"Blah blah blah," Landon muttered under his breath as he loaded his tokens into the Whack-a-Mole machine. As he grabbed the hammer, he said, loud enough for Maria to hear, "You're on! You're not beating me at this, sister!"
With that, the two were off. Energized by his anger at being defeated at a game that he admittedly did not play very often, Landon got off to a phenomenal start in the first game, mercilessly pummeling every mole that raised its sorry head back into its plastic burrow. He won the first game handily, of course, but his energy didn't stop there. The Westerner smashed just as many moles in the second game as the first, although Maria didn't slouch either. Thus, that game ended in a tie. The Californian threw everything he had at the final game, eventually beating Mexico by a tidy eight hits, and he flung down the controller with a thunk and a grin. "I win!" he declared happily, whirling around to face his Hispanic sister. "Never underestimate the Whackinator!" That imaginative title sounded even funnier aloud than in his head, and Landon couldn't resist a boyish laugh. Striding closer, he poked Maria playfully in the stomach. "You, owe me lunch, now~" he teased her in a singsong. So focused was he on victory that he barely noticed Massachusetts and Connecticut entering the arcades.

The Rebellious Sophomore Luz Maria felt like she had this game in the bag. Landon's overconfidence will be the cause of his downfall. With that, she readied her hammer and started the game.
After a few games, she was a bit flabbergasted to see that she lost. Looks like her brother's anger helped him win in whack-a-mole. Normally, she hated losing, but she decided to let him have this so he wouldn't end up getting pissed. However, she felt a little regret when he was all in her face. She let out a sigh "Si, si. But at least let me pick out the place." Just in case he decided to pick an expensive place "We can eat later. let's play some more games in the mean time." she didn't want the fun to end so soon. Plus there were other games she wanted to try out "Want to race, mang?" Estados Unidos Mexicanos

Landon was too enthused over his little victory to really care who chose the place to eat. Besides, his own Spanish history meant that he enjoyed just about anything Maria was likely to choose. “Sure, I can let you choose the place!” he told her, simply happy to have one-upped Mexico in something. Then he realized what else his cession of eatery choice meant and pouted. “Darn. So much for bankrupting you,” he remarked. Then again, Maria was already poor—or at least still poorer than him—so he might still accidentally or intentionally force her to overspend anyway. The Westerner nodded at the prospect of more games—he had already almost forgotten that they had skipped school to play. “Yeah, more games!” he cheered. California was just about to head off to the Soul Calibur game when he noticed Maria heading towards one of those driver-seat racing games. “Want to race, mang?” she asked.
“Do I ever!” Landon answered, practically slinging himself into the seat. These games cost more tokens than the other games, but they felt close enough to real cars that the West Coast state could very well imagine that he was actually driving. Cars were his favorite rides! Never mind that biological workings were much more efficient than engine cylinders—cars were fast and looked damn sexy too! He wouldn’t have minded bringing his Lamborghini to campus, but it was too far away to drive and he didn’t want it worn away too much by the elements. Seizing the wheel, he whipped his head around in Maria’s direction. “Let’s go!”

Then I learned to drive, and I'm pretty darn good at them. XD
