Mot got a chill up his spine. It could have been the snow weather, but he knew it was his ghost senses tingling. His head slowly turned to find Pepin looking sad and dejected at the prospect of losing a good scoop.
"Need my eyephone?" Mot asked, patting his pocket quickly to retrieve the device. Wait, why was he helping her? Aiya.... "Not much to record. It's just white out here." The reaper handed the glitch ghost his phone, which was probably a dumb idea.
"Okay so.. where did anyone last see this thing?" Mot asked Vee, huddling in his borrowed jacket again. "If we have to dig through the snow, then I think we may just freeze to death out here before finding it.."

"Heh, yea you're right about that. Don't worry about getting that out. Plus if we get too busy filming you might lose me in it..." Pepin tapped her chin thoughtfully. It would be best to stick near her peers as not to vanish and never come back with them.
"Not to mention it just looks like we're caught in some serious noise!"

"In the office."
She looked around at everyone else, but her treasure senses weren't tingling- it seemed the pendant wasn't anywhere close to them. Perhaps it had landed somewhere else as they were falling.
"I'm not touching that stuff, though," Vieve replied, looking straight at Mot. It almost seemed as if she were trying to encourage him to go digging around, while she remained perched on her rock, away from the snow. Supervising. Maybe if Jericho melted it, and made the water evaporate after that? That was fine. But she didn't want to be standing in a pool of water.

Mot shrugged and pocketed the phone. Less work for him. Though he then wondered to himself why he so readily offered it. Was he really already programmed to be her lackey? Oh, that just was not going to fly!
Office? Well shoot. They were screwed. "Why? It doesn't hurt." Mot said with a hidden brow raised at Vieve. She did look rather suspicious up on her rock. Like she was avoiding the snow. Or maybe she just liked high places. "I'm not digging if you're not." Mot huffed childishly, crossing his arms.

"Because it's cold," she retorted. It didn't hurt? Well- if it didn't hurt him, why wasn't he digging, then?
As a salamander, there were two things she was weak to: water, and cold. At least staying in her student form meant she was better at tolerating water, even if it made her weaker to cold; it was the opposite in her natural form.
"You could put that hat of yours to use," she suggested. "Scoop snow up with it and all."

"Ha-haaaah. Funny." Mot laughed dryly at the salamander, then resumed a facial expression of pure disgruntlement. His hat as a shovel. Not happening. It's not as if more digging could save them. What? More dismembered hands, strange whistles and moldy jackets?
N.O.
Still, it was cold. "Maybe if you stood here with us, you'd warm up." Being by herself on a cold slab of rock couldn't be warm.

((hopping in because the cold is too good to miss))
Well this was pleasant. One minute the ghoul had been walking down the hallways and the next thing she knew was that there was snow all around her. This was Halloween come early!
The frost demon bent down to scoop up a little of the snow that buried her feet, tossing it up in the air so that it would slowly, gracefully float back down. There may or may not have been others staring at her for having such indecent fun. Such as Vieve. Heh.
Edel did notice that the other students seemed to be looking for.....something. Turning to the boil with the cowboy hat and the salamander, she began to enquire.
"Are we....looking for something?"

Roch stood up, cursing long and hard as he tried to work feeling back into his fingers. "Jackdammit, I NEED my hands," he complained, tugging the coat he'd stolen off of Mot tighter around him and hiding his hands in it as well as he could.
"Does anyone have something that'd burn, at least? Maybe we could get a bonfire started or somethin, since we have two living matches here, already," he said, looking at Jericho and Vieve. "Or one living match and a blowtorch," he amended thoughtfully.

"W..well.." She didn't want to even touch snow, that much was obvious. "You can come over here if you want to, that much.." Vieve couldn't blame him; who wouldn't want to be near her?
"We're looking for a way out, clearly," she said to Edel offhandedly, then turned back to Roch.
"I'm not a blowtorch," she complained. "Or a match." Fire sounded good, though- very, very good. "But I wouldn't mind a bonfire."
Vieve looked purposefully at Jericho. What was there to burn, around here? Maybe those old coats some others in the group had found.

"It'd be more fun to just breathe fire everywhere but I guess that'd be a hazard to most of you," Jericho frowned before looking over at Roch with the mention of a possible bonfire.
"Well if those white coats aren't too wet we could probably use those. Unless people want to donate their clothing for this cause," he added.

"I wouldn't mind that, actually," she piped up, at the mention of fire. Looking at Jericho brought back memories of his room- why hadn't they fallen into someplace like that, instead? With the lava pool and all....
A short pause, as she daydreamed.
"Don't be silly, we're not dressed enough for the situation, as it is. Those coats are probably our best bet." A flicker of flame appeared in her hands, growing into a smallish fireball.
Hang on- this kept her warm enough. Did she really care that much about the wellbeing of the rest of the group? For all she cared, they could freeze to death- they were pretty much strangers, anyway, and the ones she did recognise could probably fend for themselves.

"Can you use those flames to dry off the coats so we can use them?" Roch asked, shivering slightly. Jackdammit, he seriously hated this snow crap. And Mot's coat wasn't nearly as warm as it coulda been since he couldn't button it.
"Then we'll build up a freakin' massive bonfire and be able to see if there's a way out of here." It was too gray to see jack, if you asked him.

Disgruntled, Seiji rolled his eyes and did his best to ignore the ghoul on her rock, attention dropping to Junko instead. "Are you cold?" It was probably a silly question. She looked absolutely frigid, specially her poor legs covered only in stockings. Usually a bonus, but in this weather they weren't offering very much protection.
He didn't often wish that his body temperature ran warmer, but now was one of the few cases he did. He wasn't cold, least not in the uncomfortable sense, the chill didn't bother him any. Hmming thoughtfully, the boil unzipped his hoody and shrugged it off his shoulders. It wasn't terribly thick, but it had sleeves, and the hood was actually lined with layer of gray fuzz that was meant to mimic fur. "Here," he offered it to the ghoul beside him, draping the jacket over her shoulders before pulling her back against him and resting his chin on her head.
For now he listened to what everyone was discussing in regards to a fire. It would be helpful, but whomever was mention the lack of fuel was right. They didn't really have anything to burn, cept clothing, theirs and what they had found in the snow. It wasn't much. Aside from his hoody the ghost have much else to strip off besides his shirt and pants, and he wouldn't be offering those up unless he absolutely had to. There was one thing he could spare though, the gauzy wrapping that covered his left arm, but wasn't really enough for a full on fire. He grimaced, hugging Junko against him a little tighter.

"Oh, a pendant, apparently." Mot replied to the frost demoness. "Though I doubt we'll have any luck." Such was why the cowboil gave up before he tried. "Maybe a teacher will see the giant hole in the ground and save us.." Wishful thinking.
Vieve was given a long stare. She seemed lonely on that rock, a poor frail little ghoul with her little flame.
Mot decided this just wouldn't do. Chivalry was not dead to him yet. The reaper made his way up to the rock and sat with the salamander. "You look like you could use some company."

Pepin couldn't help but snicker as Mot continued to be rustled by Vieve. Tenacious ghoul she was.
When Jericho mentioned fire the glitch rested her chin on her hand in midair. "Oh if only I had held on to more of those papers," she pouted and furrowed brows at Mot and Veive on the rock. Aw they looked so cute together! She wanted someone to float with her.
