"Hmmm" Pepper thought about it, "I don't see why he wouldn't be okay with it though its always best to ask... though our tribe is in the desert and foxes that dont have light enough coat or doesnt have our deities blessing could easily pass out out there from heat stroke," she said worriedly as she thought about it. She didn't want Marie to pass out and die. It would really hurt her inside.
"Your mate? You want me?" she asked in shock. Than a smile spread a crossed her face. "Yes. Yes I'd love to be your mate <3"

Marie didn't hear anything about the tribe. All she heard was Pepper saying yes, and the beat of her own heart. "Y-you will?" Marie cleared her throat. "I mean, of course I want you. You're the only one who-who's made me happy." She gave Pepper a wider smile than she had been giving all day.

"Yes I will," Pepper told her again her smile grew as Marie's did. She'd never seen the vixen this happy and it made her happy to know she made her happy so it was almost like a never ending circle of happiness even if it did sound kind of corny.
"I'm glad I was able to make you happy"
