Looking to where Ryu spoke of Marissa nodded her head slightly as she looked back to him. "If you have all that I need would you like to have spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread and pumpkin bread?" Marissa stood there waiting to see if what she had planned was alright with Ryu. As she waited he asked about her blushing again, causing her cheeks to flame a little more as she nodded her head slightly. "Y-Yes, its n-nothing Ryu." After answering Ryu Marissa turned and headed into the kitchen, hoping that would give her some time to calm herself as she prepared their dinner.
((OOC: Have Ryu respond to if the food is alright, or if he wants something different, Marissa is still in the living room with him until she gets that answer, but I put down that she leaves after answering him and getting his answer to the food. Also, do you want her to have the nightmare tonight?))

 Ryu Aidan Hunter "That sounds really good, i have all the supplies in there, and could you make up some lemonade to?"Ryu asked her before she walked into the kitchen. "If you say so..."Ryu muttered when she said it was nothing. He wasnt convinced it was nothing

Marissa smiled and nodded her head slightly as Ryu asked if she could make some lemonade for them as well. "Sure, if you can give me a about 30 minutes I think I can have everything prepared and close to finished." Marissa went into the kitchen and got all the things she would need out and started mixing together the ingredients she would need to make the pumpkin bread. Once she poured the batter into a bread pan Marissa put the pan in the over and started cooking the bread which would be one of the things that took the longest to cook. She then started with the meatballs after putting the spaghetti noodles in a pot of boiling water. As she started putting together the meatballs and then started to cook them in a pan Marissa grimaced as she heard Ryu's muttered words. She knew that he didn't believe her and would most likely bring up the matter once more, she just hoped she could give him a better reason for her weird behavior.
Some time later, approximately 45 minutes later, Marissa was putting the finishing touches on everything before putting the bread on a small platter, the spaghetti and meatballs on another slightly larger platter, the garlic bread on a small platter after cutting it up into slices and last but not least, adding a few lemons to the lemonade pitcher. Marissa went into the living room and spoke softly a small smile on her face, the cooking having helped her calm down. "Where would you like to eat dinner Ryu? I can bring everything out here so you don't have to walk into the dining room."
((OOC: Then tonight is when she will have the nightmare.))

Ryu Aidan Hunter "Lets eat in the dining room"Ryu said as he slowly stood up. He was able to stand with out his leg searing in pain. He simply smiled at her. "Thank you for cooking Marissa, if you diddnt i would have probably made up somethihngs that was fast."Ryu said, he could smell the meal and it smelled better than anything he ever cooked. ((OOC: sounds good to me ))

Marissa smiled slightly and nodded her head as she moved to walk beside him in case he needed her help at all. She followed him into the dining room and pointed him to the table as she moved to bring the trays of food to the table. "Thank you Ryu, I enjoy cooking so if you ever need a meal just tell me what you wish to have and I can prepare it for you. And there is no need to thank me for preparing this, it was no problem at all." She took one tray at a time to the table, bringing over the spaghetti with meatballs first and setting it in the center of the table. After that she brought over the garlic bread and then the pumpkin bread. She then grabbed two glasses from one of the cabinets and brought them over to the table, setting one in front of Ryu and then one where she would be sitting across from him. After picking up the pitcher of lemonade she poured a glass for Ryu and then poured some into her own glass. Setting the pitcher on the table she moved to grab a plate for them both and then utensils for them. After setting everything in front of where Ryu and herself would be sitting she took her seat and waited for Ryu to help himself before thinking about getting anything for herself. As she waited she sipped lightly at the lemonade, glad she had added some sugar to the drink. "Help yourself Ryu, you need the food more then I do right now."

Ryu Aidan Hunter "ok"Ryu before he put some spaghetti and meatballs on his plate. He then grabbed two pieces of garlic bread. Ryu then began eating. It was better than anything he had ever cooked. "Wow, this is great."He said smileing and taking a drink of the lemonade ((OOC smile )

Marissa Katra Darling Marissa smiled slightly as she watched Ryu attack the food she had prepared. After she was sure he had gotten enough for himself Marissa put a small portion of the spaghetti and meatballs on her own plate before taking a slice of garlic bread for herself. Before she started to eat Marissa blushed slightly at the compliment Ryu gave her. "Thank you, Ryu. I used to be the one to prepare our meals alongside my mother in my pack. I learned everything from her." Sighing at the sad though Marissa focused on eating what little amount of food she had on her plate though with the talk of her family her appetite fled her completely. After taking a few small bites of her spaghetti Marissa looked about the dining room and then looked to the food she had prepared, just noticing that she had made enough to feed not only herself and Ryu, but enough to have fed her family. Shaking her head slightly and fighting back her tears Marissa spoke up in a soft tone that held none of her sadness. "Ryu, if you think you can make it to your room without my help could I please be excused?" After waiting a little for Ryu's answer and hearing that he could make it to his room without her Marissa stood and took her plate to the sink and rinsing off the sauce from the meatballs before putting the plate off to the side to be cleaned when she woke up in the morning. Before she left the room she turned back to Ryu with a small smile on her face, hoping to keep him from fretting over her. "Help yourself to the pumpkin bread, just leave me a slice please." With that Marissa turned and left the dining room to walk through Ryu's house and to her room. She once more closed the door to her room, leaving it open just slightly before laying down on her bed after removing her shoes.
((OOC: I'm just going to pretend like he says that he can make it. With this it gives him time to eat and then do whatever he wants after that. To ponder over Marissa and such. In my next post is most likely when I will have her start having the nightmare.))

Ryu Aidan Hunter "yeah, i will be ok getting back to my room."Ryu said before she left in tears. He couldnt imagin the pain she was going through, he knew what it was like to live with out them, but his were dead, hers were still alive. After he finished eating and put the left overs away in the refridgerator, he headed to his room and laid down on his bed propping up his leg. He was feeling much better. ((OOC surprised k))

Marissa nodded her head slightly before leaving the dining room as quickly as she could before any more of her tears fell from her eyes. She knew that once she started crying that she would not be able to stop herself and she didn't want to break down like that again in front of Ryu. Marissa curled up at the top of the bed after having moved the pillows from the bed to a chair that was in the room. Curling up at the top of the bed Marissa stopped fighting to hold back her tears and memories, stopped trying to keep the calm and unaffected mask plastered over her real emotions. Remembering the years before the alpha banished her Marissa saw herself as a young girl playing in the forests and fields with her brothers in her tiger form. She still wasn't old enough to shift yet but she loved watching her brothers as they shifted. They would even pick her up and carry her around some times when they weren't play simple games like hide and seek. She used to love those days, but what she ended up liking more were the days where she could stand with her mother and help her cook for her brothers and father. Long before she was able to shift she would sit and watch her mother preparing the meals for the family, something that helped her when she was finally able to help out in the kitchen. As her memories started to play out in her mind faster and faster as tears striked her cheeks Marissa drifted to sleep, not able to keep herself awake and fight the memories at the same time anymore. Fast forward to a few weeks before she was banished from her pack. Marissa and the rest of her pack had been searching day in and day out for their alpha's twins. They had been missing for a few days when Marissa had finally been able to pick up a trace of their essence as she had helped to look for them. As she lead the alpha male and some of his warriors to where the twins were being held she didn't know that the alpha female had been behind their disappearance. After returning to their pack the alpha male had allowed his children to slip from his arms to go play with some of the other small cubs. He had then stepped up to Marissa and placed a kiss to her cheek and informed her that she would be a great healer some day soon, for their own healer was slowly dieing. She had bowed her head and thanked him for the compliment but had done or said nothing else, knowing that she had no place to do so. Two days later the alpha female had some of her own guards drag Marissa from her home and then made sure everyone from the pack were outside to see her supposed trial. As the alpha female started speaking that was when Marissa knew the truth, that it had been her to hide the children away, and she was now pushing that blame onto Marissa. She also tried to claim that she had been allowing males to use her body, even though all in her family knew she had never been touched. Her brothers had made sure of that, had even almost killed a male that had tried to just ask her on a date. Marissa just stood there, not bothering to try and defend herself, knowing that nothing she did or said would matter. It wasn't until she was allowed to grab a few of her things did she try and speak to her family, but in their home they just turned their backs on her. With an emotionless face she had left her pack, and an hour later found herself being chased by her own brothers, for after she had left the camp the alpha female had insured she would never be able to return. Crying at that last memory Marissa trembled on the bed, her body shaking as she struggled against unseen attackers. Her brothers had quickly come upon her and tackled her to the ground, holding her down as one of them applied pressure to her neck to know her unconscious. She had then been taken to a clearing and strung up to a tree, her hands bound and her feet dangling in the air as the alpha male questioned her and whipped her. Her own brothers even took up punishing her for killing the alpha males twins, a crime she hadn't committed just like the others she had been banished for. It wasn't until a week into her punishment that she was able to escape. It had been hard to do so for she had ended up having to break her own hands to slip them from the ropes around her wrists, but she had slipped free of her bonds as the males had left her for the night to try and fight off the animals that were attracted to the smell of her blood. After falling to the leaf covered ground Marissa hand crawled away from where she had been hanging and once she could she stood and ran for her life, ran until she thought no one could find her. Then and only then did she allow herself to pass out from the pain of her wounds in a cave hidden by a waterfall that was miles away from her home. She had slept for days, not able to wake from the pain as her body slowly healed, and to this day she still had scars and welts all along her back from her treatment.

Ryu Aidan Hunter It wasn't long before Ryu had fallen asleep. He began to dream, but this wasn't his usual dream. He looked around himself, he was floating, like a ghost and was watching memories below him, none of them were his own. He watched Marissa's memories play. It was sad, he thought he knew what she had gone through but he knew nothing untill now. He watched her familly chase her. He couldn't take it anymore. He woke up after a few moments in a cold sweat. He sat up looking around. "Marissa..." Ryu got up, his leg feeling better than it had been. He left his room and went over to Marissa's room opening the door. "Marissa I saw your dreams..I'm sorry..are you ok?" ((OOC: ok))

Marissa Katra Darling Marissa woke to the sound of a voice, a voice that didn't belong to her family or anyone who had been chasing her in her nightmares. As she woken and saw Ryu's face she gasped and flinched away from him, not knowing how he would react to finding out that she was not a Katagaria, but was in fact an Arcadian. She knew that most Katagarias hated Arcadians, and she understood why, she just didn't know if Ryu would react in the same fashion she had been told about or not. While he had been healing in her cave she had made sure to wake before him so that he wouldn't learn that she was not what she tried to make others believe she was. The tears and fears from her nightmares were still fresh and as she waited for his reaction to what she was his words finally pierced the fog of sleep that had still been holding onto her. "You s-saw my d-d-dreams? H-hhow?" Cowering against the headboard of her bed Marissa looked to Ryu as the tears streaked down her cheeks. She wasn't able to stop them, the pain of the past making her back throb as she waited to be attacked once more, but this time for hiding the truth about what and who she was.
((OOC: You know I think I am going to have Marissa be an Arcadian, when wounded or sleeping they remain in their base form which is a human, but when Katagarias sleep or are wounded they are in their base form which is their animal. So Ryu would have had to slip on like a pair or pajama pants before going to her. Is that alright? Maybe have Ryu not even notice or when he walks in and sees her in her human form he gives no real reaction. I hope thats ok, cause thats what I went with.))

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu stood in the door way wearing a dark blue robe."I dont know how i saw them...you...you arent katagarian..your an arcadian...arent you?" Ryu asked her. He couldnt believe it, she had lied already, now he wasnt sure if those memories he saw were even real. "you..." ((OOC: i went with him wearing a robe, and i dont know what an arcadian is, so im just going to go with im not really noticing it for now))(edited)

Marissa watched the expressions cross Ryu's face as he put together the truth about her. She sat there and waited for him to call in his warriors, or to demand her to leave but when all he did was question her Marissa was baffled. As she nodded her head to answer his question Marissa spoke, her voice trembling with her fear as her tears continued to fall. "Yy-you are c-c-ccorrect Ryu...I'm A-aaarcadian...My f-ffather was as well...Out of all my b-b-bbrother's I was the only one that wasn't K-kkatagarian..." Marissa could see the doubt in Ryu's eyes, but had learned long ago that nothing she said mattered. The only way she knew of to prove to him that what he had seen wasn't a lie was to show him the proof. So as she sat there still trembling she glanced up to Ryu's eyes before lowering them and speaking and a quite voice. "R-Ryu...can I p-pprove to you I am not the tt-ttthreat you now think I am? I will have to s-sstand, but my b-back will be to you...L-l-lleaving me vulnerable to any a-a-attack..." Marissa waited for a few minutes to see if Ryu would even bother answering her before she very slowly slid off of the bed and turned away from him. She took a deep breath to try and steady her nerves as she felt herself blushing over what she was about to do. Letting that breath go Marissa allowed her dress to slip from her shoulders to land on the floor. Shivering and shaking Marissa wrapped her arms around her chest and waist as the proof of her punishment was clear to see on her back, buttocks and thighs. She stood there for a few minutes, allowing Ryu to see the welts and scars from what she had been put through before speaking once more. "I s-should know by now not to try and e-even defend myself but I s-swear to you R-Ryu, I didn't do any of the t-things the alpha female of my p-pack accused me of. My w-w-whole family hid that I was Arcadian for fear that the p-pack would turn on me and kill me. I was the last f-female born to that pack, n-none of the others s-s-survived long after they were b-born." Marissa glanced over her shoulder to see the look on Ryu's face before kneeling to pick up her dress, easily sliding it back on before speaking in a dead-pan voice. "I will leave now then. I am s-sorry for everything, I will not return and will tell no one of where your pack resides." Marissa moved away from the bed only slightly before locating her packs and side bag near the foot of the bed. She gathered them and turned towards the door, waiting to see if she would be let go or if she would once more be punished.

He could tell she wasnt lieing to him."I believe you...dont leave...although you are arcadian, you were raised katagarian, as far as im concerned you are one of us, but we can not let any of the others know, some of them have been through terrible incidents with arcadians." He didnt want to let her knw when he was younger he to had a bad run in with them."i am sorry for the way i acted." ((OOC: ))
