Baka is my favorite word too. I just love to call people I hate in school an idiot right in front of a teacher and not get in trouble for it. And it confuses the people. I think that's the best part of knowing a little Japanese. The fact that it confuses people.

Clint Beastwood I'm an oddball, because I'd rather learn kansai dialect as opposed to standard tokyo speak. So some of mine would be: Mokkarimakka? (lit. How's Business, but used in place of ogenki desu ka) Bochi bochi denna! (the response equivalent to genki desu) Nandeyanen!? Chau nen! Ookini (kansai arigatou) and a bunch I can't remember I love to speak Kansai-ben too. It is very sharp and coarse and students got a kick out of it. I pretty much speak that or Tokyo-ben/standard when I am around Consulate people.

I love saying moshi moshi. It means hello in Japanese but is used when answering the phone.
