Maybe if she threatened to start crying he would just give it to her. It was worth consideration. Mulling this option over Aislin threw another ball. With a PING it hit the target and the board fell out from beneath Inigo. Aislin perked up. Here was her chance!

"I'll cry if you don't get me a blue one!" She wibbled her lower lip to further emphasis that she would really do it.
Inigo crawled up out of the water. He looked... considerably worse for wear. Bruises and red welts all over, visible even though the thick mat of hair that covered his body. Not to mention the vicious, nasty bites that covered him.
When he threw something at Aislin she half expected it to be another brown eye. She glanced down at it all the same, her breath catching in her throat. It was blue. A beautiful blue eye. The banshee looked up at the troll, her face a mask of glee.
Regardless of the fact that he'd refused to give her what she wanted up until now Ash began to clamber up the dunking booth, reaching out and throwing her arms around Inigo. She hugged his head against her chest, bouncing in excitement.
"OH MY JACK! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" She was practically screaming in her excitement.

Tears fell from Inigo's eyes and mixed with the booth water as he sobbed and Aislin hugged him. It was over. She had no reason to come back. She could leave forever!
Still sobbing in happiness, he told the banshee, "I want you to go away. Go away and never come back."

Beaming victoriously at the trick or treater, Christof sagged with disappointment as the angry (and damp) little man shooed him away without any sort of prize for his efforts.
This really wasn't that fun a game, the hunchback decided. Very unproductive.
Maybe he'd try again later.
