Toshi shook her head to her fiance, blushing softly as she sort of chuckled at him. Perve...she muttered as she pulled him into the candy store, pausing to let her eyes move from one end of the store to the other, sort of drooling over the vast varieties of sweets and sours.

Fat Panda. "A boarding house is just a big house that one person owns and rents out the rooms of..." Christopher explained, he smiled as he continued "and I'd really like you could come visit me sometime.."
"I'd like that too. I don't know when I could but I'll definitely try to come and see you soon."

Makoto laughed and shoved his hands in his pockets, waiting for her to decide on something she wanted. He yawned, looking around the store, which was very brightly colored from all the different candies.

Toshi giggled, sort of moving down the rows of candy bins, filling little bags with different candies. She glanced over her shoulder to get Makoto's attention, sort of head gesturing him to come over. Pick stuff with me, silly...don't just stand there!!

Okay, he grumbled, moving towards her, grabbing a bag and filling it with warheads, a candy from his childhood. He smirked a bit, trying not to make it too obvious he was enjoying himself.

Toshi looked to Makoto blankly a moment before giggling and glomping onto him. You can't hide it, babe...I know you're happy surrounded by sugar! she teased, kissing his cheek before moving to fill more little bags.

Nayomi-chan Xander's heart jumped at the comment and he smiled brightly, too stunned for a moment to actually speak. He finally giggled softly and ran his fingers through his blue streaked bangs, casting his eyes to the floor even as their meal was set on a tray for them to carry to the tables.
"I'd like that too. I don't know when I could but I'll definitely try to come and see you soon." Chris said with a smile before reaching to pick up the tray "Come on, let's go sit..." he moved to find a table for them to sit, nudging Xander to follow.

Xander followed behind him, much like an obedient puppy and started looking for a good place to sit. A lot of the tables oddly enough had large shady umbrellas on them. Though why, even though there was a skylight, it would have those Xander had no clue.
"So, in this boarding house you've been looking at... You've seen the inside of it and everything right?"

"No.. not yet... I just called and spoke to the owner..." Chris said, as he set their tray down on one of the tables with the odd umbrellas. "It seems like a really nice place though, all of the rooms are already furnished, and the rent is pretty cheap..." he continued as he took a seat at the table.

"Well that's not bad. Did they mention anything about utilities?" Xander laughed, "Although it's gotta be better than the place I'm at or living on the streets. The Caravan only just came into the wonders of indoor plumbing. We've got to lug buckets of water to the bathhouse to heat up. On the plus side it's a really beautiful tub, old fashioned you know?"

"Utilities are included in the rent.." Christopher said with a nod "Only some of the rooms have private bathrooms... hopefully I'll be able to get one of those.. I'd rather not have to share a bathroom with people I don't know... I shouldn't complain though, at least it's indoors and you don't have to carry water back and forth..."

Xander shrugged. "I don't really mind sharing bathrooms myself, so long as no one tries to use my toothbrush. At lot of the people I've known are really good about their bathrooms and keep them neat so it's not like I'd walk in one day to find the bathtub filled with dirty water or water sloshed on the floor. But it is always something to worry about with new housemates so I hope they're all good to you."
Xander took a bit of his chicken chow mein, making a quiet moan after he swallowed it. "This is really good... Carrying the water isn't so bad, at least you get excerisize. I'm sure I'll get in shape if I stay for longer."

"That may be so..." Xander absently licked his fingers, "but I like the work out all the same. Plus lugging the buckets keeps the girls in the Caravan from bothering me about helping them find some silly hair trinket for them."
He paused a moment and then cursed quietly, hanging his head.
"That's what I forgot. I have to get some things for the girls too..."
