Lily got hit again and again repeatedly and nearly fell more than once, but she was having the time of her life. She gotten mud on her legs more than once, which resulted in the ew thats icky dance, but being pelted with water balloons quickly solved that problem.
She watched momentarily as her teammates made and threw water balloons. She was really soaked so she thought maybe she should make some soon too, but at the same time she really wanted to throw more. She was torn, but as yet another water balloon broke against her head she quickly grabbed a big giggly balloon to defend herself.
She tossed it at the person on the black team that was closest to her hoping to wet the other even further.

Harper smiled and nodded at the tip from one of her team's faithful balloon-fillers. In the fray, she hadn't considered how any one water balloon's physical makeup would have been different from another and how that would affect its lobbing ability. Switching the yellow one she had grabbed out for a blue, she tested it curiously with a few small tosses in the air.
"Thanks," she said gratefully to the purple haired boy (Lucien). He wasn't from her cabin, obviously, but she knew she had seen him around... something starting with an "L." Harper scurried to a few feet ahead -- not wanting to draw too much enemy fire near the tub -- and let a blue balloon fly.

She was happy to see her shot that went high into the air splat down on an unexpecting red player, but in her distractions she was hit by not one, but two more balloons herself.
Her arms attempted to rub the water and stray strands of hair out of her eyes as she laughed and scrambled for more balloons. Scooping up two balloons, she tossed her green balloon into the crowd.

Ainsley had closed her eyes so she wasn't sure if she had hit anyone with the balloon she had thrown. She hoped she did and that she had done a good job with Peter, Sam and Lissy all on her team. She wanted to make sure they had enough balloons to have fun as well though so she wandered back over and started to fill more balloons before they ran out. Maybe after there were more balloons filled she would try again!

She hadn't missed yet and really she was quite surprised, so she decided to keep at it until she missed hoping some of the other's would continue to fill the constantly lower supply of water balloons as she took another and tossed. She was aiming for a girl with pretty green hair, that she swore she remembered meeting once around Halloween.
"Catch," she shouted at the girl.

A waterballoon falling smack on her head made Eve laugh and shake her damp curls in an attempt to dislodge the remnants of the balloon.
"Alright, here we go!" Another balloon was hefted at the kids of the black team, before turning to refill her supply of ammo.

The bandana around the child's neck was loosing as she filled more balloons up for her team, causing her to stop for a moment to make sure it didn't loosen too much and fall off to blow away in any sort of breeze that would pass by now. She seen balloons fly, and ducked once to escape one, only to fill up more balloons.

"Ainsley, you did awesome!" Sam cheered on his friend. "See, fun!". Then he continued about his business of gathering balloons and aiming them at people. This time he found Istas again and sure her little curly pigtails ended up soaking.

Team Red!
Griffin looked genuinely upset. Castille felt bad for a moment, until she realized that this was a game. They were supposed to hit eachother with the balloons....
"Alls fair in love and war!" She shouted to Griffin, knowing she would apologize later to her cabin-mate for hitting her. But instead of attacking her again, Castille decided another target would be better...
And then she was hit on top of the head with one. Water splashed over her, and she shook her head while water droplets hit her face. Retaliation! Her two side buns would be frizzy and tangle if she got them wet, so she took her hair out of them, and let it fall, placing the hair ties on her wrist. It fell to about halfway between her chin and shoulders in wavy lengths of blonde with some summer highlights.
Then she picked up another balloon, and lobbed it at Griffin. SHe would pick another target, but not until she had won this battle.

"Yeah!! You did it!!" Peter cheered, throwing up a fist into the sky in celebration, before offering it as a high five to Ainsley. "See?? We knew you could do it!" It was awesome seeing others get in the action like this! Now was his turn to take a balloon and throw it at an unsuspecting person on the red team. But first...
Peter untied the black bandana from around his arm and retied it around his forehead. Oh yeeeaahh~ It was then that he took another balloon that had already been filled and tossed it the closest, driest red team member.
"Alright, it's your turn again!" he chirped, turing back to Ainsley. "We've got you covered. And keep your eyes open this time!" he tried to encourage. It was fun seeing that you actually hit someone!.

Lissy was loving this she had been hit at least twice after throwing her balloon but she didn't care! She ran over to Ainsley who had been filling up more and picked another one up!
"Thanks Ainsley! Come throw some too!" she smiled trying to hand one to Ainsley before throwing another one at the red team.
"Take that you losers!" She laughed again before heading back to Ainsley and the boys! It was a shame Istas wasn't on their team too then they would have been awesome!

Paris was quite pleased that it seemed as if all the children on his side of the water fight were behaving, and that Peter even seemed to be helping out his teammates and, for once, had forgotten about his phone.
He paused in throwing to pass out a few more balloons to the kids, then glanced over the people with red bandanas to pick his next target. He saw Lily again, and though he'd decided not to before, in the spirit of the game he innocently -- or not-so-innocently -- lobbed a balloon in her direction to see if it would hit, then glanced off the other way and went back to the stockpile of balloons to pretend as if he had done no such thing.

TEAM RED HAS 24 POINTS
TEAM BLACK HAS 34 POINTS
Both teams are good and wet at this point! In fact, so much water has been tossed around that the field is much more slippery than before. Anywhere with grass has become nearly an ice rink, making it more and more difficult for anyone to throw actively. Everyone still seamed to be having fun though, laughter and water balloons filling the air. Most children had taken the activity lightly, not really getting angry when a friend on another team hit them with a water balloon- after all, it was just an excuse to throw one back!
Adira was surprised at how many water balloons had been thrown and made at this point. She'd let the game continue on for a little bit longer, if only because she liked watching it all happen.

Missed! That's alright, the other balloon she'd been carrying was whipped into the air.
Glancing around for more balloon's she couldn't find them at first, finally spotting a bunch back behind a few fellow black team mates.
She tried to run, her feet doing their best to slip right out from under her. But that was okay, when her bottom hit the ground she continued to slip and slide her way across the grass. Leaving her near a new set of balloons and with some grass stains in her shorts and shirt that were likely never to come out.

Istas giggled finally finished filling a few more water balloons she decided to get another balloon this time a green one and ran towards Aitana, "Hi Aitana!" she called slipping and sliding before throwing a balloon at the older girl.
