Kijinga felt her cheeks grow hot, though they couldn't have possibly grown any redder then they were. She felt his fur gently push into hers and his tongue smoothen out of pelt. She stretched her neck slightly as he paced away, yearning for more, but soon shifted her gaze to something different. She took notice of another female approaching, which she finalized was Teleka's sister and before she could return his favor, she was drawing back even further then he had, her eyes wide with embarrassment and her heart racing. 'I--'
She paused, her pants becoming heavier and louder, looking to both Teleka then to his sister. She wanted to make a dash, like she had done before, but instead she eased onto her haunches and looked towards the ground once more. 'I--Hello.' Her voice was choked and felt tight as she peered towards Teleka's form, gawking over him for a brief moment and then looking towards the sands. Everything else didn't seem to matter much now, her mind clouded with the thoughts of that one gesture of...
Was it love?

Teleka nearly screamed at his sister, she really had great timings with things. He looked at his sister and let a smile climb to his maw before looking back at Kijinga, she hadn't run, that was a good thing!! He decided to make another bold move and went over to her, turned to look at his sister but sit close to Kijinga. Their pelts were touching and he could feel the heat emmiting from her body. He didn't want to move now, he was so close to her beautiful form.

That small smile on Kirjava's muzzle grew as Kiburi became more cheerful. What a pleasant surprise to find a friend, here in this hostile place and that wanted her to be considered family! Her tail flicked from side to side in agreement, "I've always wanted to call someone family," Crimson eyes looked to the other Firekin, "No, even if they tried I don't think even they could break a family apart. Families are special and hold special ties. Even if you go away for long periods of time, you'll always find your way home," She smiled in nostalgia, "That's what my mom told me before I began my life wandering around and exploring."
The lions sure did look fierce to her, but then again, she thought any lion other than herself was fierce, especially the males. It was never good to underestimate one's strength. At the reference to the red coats, she blinked and tried to look slightly shock while teasing Kib, "But, does that mean my coat is boring, Kib?" She held a teasing smile on her features as she thought about some of her friends, each had a different coat color but here, the color was mainly red.

Kiburi was glad to have found someone else who she could call family, for it had been the honest truth that she was feeling homesick. Her body was showing the changes of adolesence now, and it wouldn't be long before the days of her youth had left her. She'd be an adult and responsible and she had to take care of her family just like wonderful Lord Kimeti had said. "I wonder if I'll ever see my family again," Kiburi sighed, "it would be sad if I did not."
She giggled at Kirjava's question and shook her head playfully, "nonononono! That's not true! You may be red but it's a different sort of red, and you have pretty grey fur!" She waved the tuft of her tail around her. "Kib likes your fur very, very much!"
Then sweeping her eyes around her, glad that the raised voices had stopped she stretched her lithe body and yawned. "I wonder...do we have our own place to sleep? Lord Kimeti said that I wasn't to go into his den anymore." Perhaps her new sister would know. "If not we can go find and make our own home!"

Kimeti only turned his head slightly at his sisters words, catching a glimpse of her retreating form before looking back to his brother. He truly could not care what his sister did, but she had made her decision and while he was King, she would never be welcomed back into the pride. Death would befall her should she step foot in the pride's lands, Kimeti would see to it himself.
"Yes, mother had been able to keep the pride together even if it was just us and her. I hope she find whatever she's looking for. After father's death she was never quite the same." He sighed looking to the ground for a moment before shaking his head. "So, brother, what brings you back to the pride? I must say you grew well as did you, Kafara." He smiled at his sister who had turned into quite the lioness during her tiem away from the pride.

She eyed Teleka as he pushed closer, they fur's touching; warmth spreading. She quirked a brow, curious yet happy that he made this straight-forward action, though she wasn't a fan of this technique. Her ears swiveling and eyes wearily watching, she glanced to the sister and smiled. She knew how uncomfortable and embarrassed Teleka must be so in comfort, she pushed into him as he did, slightly of course for the space between them was thin and rested her head near his shoulder, licking her nose and flicking her gaze to the sands. She couldn't bare looking at others for more then a few moments when she was in a fragile state like this.

Mpeka smirked at both their actions before smiling at Kijinja softly. "It's nice to meet you finally..."
Somehow, the dark hued elder sibling got the hint that she was intruding, besides, these two obviously hadn't seen each other in a while. She gave a small smile.
"...although it appears you two'd like to be alone, I'll see you both later."
More like in the morning the way these two where acting.
Besides that, the female the female moved over to where the royal siblings where, only to stretch herself slightly and look out over the horizon.

Kavuasi chuckled, lifting one hind leg to scratch at an ear before answering.
"I've been wandering for a while now, just trying to get home." He began, the gears in his head churning as he thought up a simple-sounding answer. Something he wouldn't have to keep adding to if he was asked more questions. "After that bird took me away, I kept trying to escape. It didn't work. I finally lost her in the jungle and headed back out here... But I had never been away from the Pride before, so I couldn't find my way back. Luckily Kafara and I met up, and she brought me here."
There. That would work.
....he hoped.
At the sight of Mpeka wandering over, Kavuasi smiled, then straightened himself up.

Teleka looked at his sister and with his eyes thanked her, he then turned to Kijinga who was leaning on him. "I am sorry, if I am being too forward or anything but you are so beautiful and well... I haven't stopped thinking about you how ever stupid that may sound." He looked a little shy as he spoke quietly so the others would not over hear. He was worried he would do something to annoy or scare the princess, who would always be a princess in his eyes.

At the sight of Kavuasi straightening himself up as she moved toward's them, Mpeka couldn't help but let a small chuckle pass her lips. "No need to straighten up on my account Kavu..." She said softly, smiling at him in a playful manner as she moved to sit close by.
The lion intrigued her much and in a way, made her smile a lot, she flattened her ear's softly as she watched the blue eye'd male. "I hope you don't mind me sitting here?" She asked curiously, ear's perked up.

"Kijinga..." His voice was saddened a little and he nuzzled her shoulder. "We can go over there if you want? You can talk with your brothers and your sister, what ever you decide, if you don't mind I will follow." His brown eyes looked down on her bright red pelt, he didn't want her to feel sad and he wished there was something he could do.

Crimson eyes soften at Kiburi's words just as Kirjava gave the lioness a small smile, "Oh, I'm sure you'll see your family again, don't worry Kib." After she had said that, a soft laugh escaped from within as Kiburi's answer to her tease. Replying with a playful tone, "I was beginning to feel sad, but now I'm not!"
Thinking about the last part...where would they sleep? If the King had told Kiburi that she couldn't sleep in the den, then that means that Kirjava couldn't either. Sighing softly, crimson eyes gazed around looking for a place that would be suitable, but to no avail. "If the King says that you can't go in the den, then I guess that means that I cannot go back in there either," She paused before turning to look back at Kiburi, "That means we can make our own den, Sister!"

She smiled heartily in her direction, feeling much more comfortable now, perhaps even happy with the situation. They had their own little group, their own pride within a pride. They were protected from everything except the lions and perhaps one day they would be considered friends.
"Okay, making a den sounds like a good plan!" She wriggled in excitement at the prospect. It was an adventure! "Are there...are there any others like us, other lions that could help?" She questioned almost nervously. In a way she hoped there was not but if their numbers were greater they'd perhaps be safer.

Shaking his head, the returned prince's smile widened, and he turned towards her, giving her his full attention for the moment.
"Not at all, Mpeka." Kavu replied, tilting his head to one side. This lioness was interesting... She was a good lookout, and probably a huntress, he was guessing. "You can sit where you wish... Except for on other's tails. I would not recommend that. Tails are very boney, and sitting on them seems to cause distress to others."
....what the hell was that?! He wanted to reach up and smack his own forehead. Instead, he cracked a grin, trying hard to show that he had been joking.
