The canine holding the position over its' pack was caught completely off guard by the sudden change in the small mailmans' actions. The kunai tore through high on its' left front shoulder blade and stuck into the dirt behind it. The creature grit its' teeth as a few drops of blood speckled the fur on its' back. With a body still visibly shaking from fear it charged directly at Felix, closing the gap between them. None of the animals laid out in the clearing moved an inch.
Felix is within melee range. If grappling make sure to add a Strength check. To assess wounded dogs from a distance use Treat Injury (-5 for distance). Sense Motive check can be used to see if the other dogs are attempting a sneak attack.

DB:12 Felix grit his teeth, glad that he had damaged the dog... but still upset that he had to do this. He just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible if he could, in order to ease his own conscience he supposed. He was not thinking rationally at this time, and was focused completely on the dog. Felix moved forward as the other dog did... probably almost just as frightened as the canine was as he tried to attack it properly with his Kunai, which he held firmly in a shaking hand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ((Attack Melee(4) + d20 = ~))

The small canine held in the yelp that it wanted to release as it felt the sting of the boys' metal graze across its' back. Though not as deep as the first wound it had taken, it didn't like the idea of being stabbed one bit. The reality of being stabbed was even worse. The first thing it would have to do was get rid of the pesky kunai that the small mailman held. The dog snapped its' jaws out at the hand of the Genin, aiming more for the weapon than the flesh.
Disarming
D20+Str(1)=16
To prevent disarming roll D20+Str. If greater Felix maintains his hold on the weapon. That counts as his one attack turn. If Felix wishes to hit the dog instead or back away, then he automatically is disarmed.
As the animal made its' attack at Felix, a familiar form dropped down from the treetops behind both the attacking creature and the pack of laying down dogs. Rhaim was on the edge of the shadows surrounding the clearing with his hands in his pockets. He began walking towards the inanimate animals almost immediately, keeping Felix just barely in his peripheral vision. The teen made no indication that he would draw a weapon or join in the fight with Felix, confident that he could handle the single dog alone. He also made no effort to tell the other boy to continue or cease the battle.

DB:12 Felix felt the teeth of the dog as they snapped around the blade of his Kunai, and he made no attempt to keep the weapon... figuring that as long as it was biting something else, then it could not hurt him. So he let it pull his Kunai away, and simply reached up with his fist, smacking it across the top of its head with his knuckles. Felix glanced up and over at Rhaim as he noted out of his peripheral vision, the other ninja move toward the copse of lying dogs. He felt a little more confidant at the Nara's presence, he had to admit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ((Attack Melee(4) + d20 = ~))

The canine was extremely pleased at the fact that it had been able to pull away the weapon from the young shinobi. However that happiness was short lived as it felt a fist make contact with its' head, causing it to bite down hard on the kunai. The which was extremely painful for the animal. It was not about to quit though with the lives of its' comrades on the line. The dog instantly drop the kunai from its' jaw and made another lunge at the boy. This time the maw of the creature was opened in the hopes of catching flesh around the boys' forearm.

Meanwhile Rhaim continued his approach into the pack of still unmoved dogs. The sun was still shining on the animals as if they were all just pleasantly just taking a nap. The teen could see otherwise as he came up to the first of the badly mangled pups. While he was no physician he could recognize when something was in bad shape. To emphasize the point to himself he flipped the small animal over with his foot. Though none of the other dogs showed any movement at this, the Nara was finding the stench quite annoying. Thus the boy pulled his balaclava up over his mouth and nose as he carried on with his assessment.

DB:12 Felix felt the dog bite out at his arm and chomp down on it... causing some pain to it, though it fortunately was not so bad just yet, it still caused him to grimace from the small teeth and fangs. He quickly brought his other arm up, this time smacking the pup in the side of the head with as much force as he could manage to muster. He did not like doing this... Felix saw nothing wrong with the poor dog, it was just trying to protect its family for all he knew, and from how he read the situation. He hated that he had to kill it, but the orders had been clear, not to mention there was small chance of doing anything else now that the dog was already fighting for its life against him. The punch connected solidly with the small canine, jostling it from the arm that it had latched to. The animal hit the ground with a dull thud but quickly roll back over to its' feet. It could tell by the way things were going that it couldn't keep up with the shinobi. However it couldn't just let it get by to the rest of the pack for fear of what horrible things might be done. No matter what the dog was determined to keep this and any other human from approaching the rest of the pack. The dog crouched low and set its' hair on end as best it could while ignoring the growing pain. It let out as loud and long of growl as it possibly could while baring its' teeth to the young boy.
Intimidate:
D20+Intimidate(1)+Charisma(1)=18
To counter Intimidate roll Sense Motive check. If Felix fails the roll he becomes Frightened and suffers -2 to all rolls until he beats the Sense Motive check or finishes the fight. If Felix decides to attack instead he is instantly Frightened and suffers -2 to all rolls until he beats the Sense Motive check or finishes the fight. Do not add wisdom bonus to Sense Motive.
Rhaim all the while approached the second of the smallest dogs laying helpless in the clearing. He rolled it over with his foot as well, revealing the same thing he had found with the previous one. Both of the first two checked animals were completely mutilated and long since dead. Though they still were intact for the most part, their abdomens were burst open and chest cavities empty. The teen said nothing and left his hands in his pockets as he kept the fight between Felix and the dog barely in his peripheral.

DB:12 Felix faced the dog shakily, staring it right back down as it was growling at him... of course he was frightened! He was only eleven years old... and had to kill the poor dog... as his assignment... as if that was not enough, the pup was of course fighting back.. and not only that, but it was doing it all to protect its family. Could Felix say the same..? ...No. If this was another human, Felix would have lost the battle for sure, no matter how much stronger he was than the person. He didn't even have a reason for the fight except that it was orders. Felix sighed, steeling himself against his fear, and his emotions... he would have to learn how to be callused in order to be a true Shinobi. He fought through the fear, and attacked the poor dog none the less... he had to. Felix moved forward and kicked out at the growling dog. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ((Attack Melee(4) + d20 - Frightened(2) = ~))

The dog was more than a little surprised at the sudden foot impacting its' jaw. It was certain that the boy seemed shaken by its' display of ferociousness. However the child had still charged head long at it, intent on defeating it. The canines' head shot back momentarily from the assault but it did not give up any ground. It could not afford to let a single human being cause any more harm to the members of its' pack. With that in mind it launched itself out at Felixs' leg with its' own blood beginning to drool out from the corners of its' mouth.
Attack Melee:
D20+1=7 MISS
Rhaim came up to the third of the small dogs and tapped it with the front of his foot. Though he couldn't see any rise and fall in its' chest to indicate that it was breathing, it did grimace as soon as it was touched. It didn't however make any noise, leading the Genin to believe that its' wounds were severe and that it would take some serious medical application for it to pull through. He was not a medic though and was not about to bet his life on the quick assessment that he made from poking it with his foot.
He then shifted his sight and focus entirely on the largest of the dogs in the clearing. The fact that it had allowed him to kick the small ones without attacking him led him to believe it already dead. That wasn't something he was going to take for granted though.
