billsabob how dare you say mark sucks...... thats just not cool.....i know plenty of people who are worse.... but im sure if the white stripes had a bassist he would suck....hmmmm most bassists i know are really good.... but thats just me The Raconteurs have a good bassist. The white stripes have 2 people, and one of them sucks. That would be Meg. Jack promised that the Stripes would never use a bassist. He just downtunes his guitar on 7 nation.

Necrobutcher Knight60 I hate them both they are both horrible. but Mark is deffintly worse than sid. But neither of them get any respect from me at all. I hate PUCK music. lol, Its funny. When you share your opinion about punk. you kinda renind my of the hulk for some wierd reason. @ discussion: and you really can't have a talented punk bass player. there all kinda the same from what I heard. I must repeat myself again when I mention Klaus Floride of DK. Although he uses a pick, his basslines are creative. Choking Victim and Rancid also have excellent bass.

The bassist from As I Lay Dying. From what I've heard of him playing, he doesn't do anything special, just follows what the guitar's playing. But I can understand that when he starts to sing, but still, he doesn't sing through the entire song. Lol.

sinis Shuu Kien The bassist from As I Lay Dying. From what I've heard of him playing, he doesn't do anything special, just follows what the guitar's playing. But I can understand that when he starts to sing, but still, he doesn't sing through the entire song. Lol. That can be said for any of those ridiculous hardcore or screamo bands. I was actuly, invited into one of thoughs bands. "who cares" was there name, i rejected them. Also, thats sorrta how my band started. This guy, keith wanted us to start a scremo..or "artscore" as he so nicely put it, band. Me and naz kicked him out, and started a progressive rock band, with a much better singer. I dont like scremo, As i lay dieing seems to be more 'Metalcore' witch is a stupid genra, sorrta crossing hardcore/scremo with metal, not something im to fond of. But, i guess its the next wave of mainstrem music. It goes in cycels... Onece apone a time, it was Grunge, then it was the 'nu-metal' like limp bisket, disterbed, Korn...now its emo/scremo.

Any bassist that just keeps hitting the same note over and over. then just switches to a different note and hits that over and over. Such as David D. (simple plan), Mark H. (Blink-182), or Mikey Way (MCR) i find it all quite annoying.
